You could breathe! Everything isn't all cluttered and junky. Very spacious, clean, reasonably priced and friendly staff.

From those professionals that wield a cordless drill in one hand, a hammer in the other with a tool…read morebelt that would make Batman jealous to those of us who don't know the difference between a miter saw and compound miter saw, Lowes is THE place to stop by for so many home improvement projects. Located right off of Blackbob in a safe part of town, however I have had issues with their employees. From people complaining about me "masking up" to not being able to find someone to help, I'm not exactly enthusiastic when I need help there. I've found myself doing a lot of home improvement projects from finishing an attic, repairing side paneling to upgrading my yard and I've always found what I needed. Moreover, I got my Weber Grill from there and I use my it at least 3 times a week. Also, I had to upgrade a drill and the associate advised me against one product for another that has lasted me years. I've needed keys and it took literally 10 seconds. Oh, and for paint.... They're experts at matching colors. I'm not going to wax poetic like I do in other reviews but end with this Lowes is great for all sorts of reasons. Stop by for all those home improvement or professional needs. But if you need help that might be an issue.

We were told the item was a "biohazard" and not returnable. All we asked for was a credit to our account! What crummy service practices . -Poor representation of products sold there. Shame on Lowe's.

This location is five minutes from our home, but we are not always inclined to make this our first…read morehome improvement stop for projects. Here is why: Location: This store is far enough south to get folks from Gardener and Spring Hill to visit as well, so it can be extremely busy; especially on weekends. We were surprised that the store was empty when we came. It was after 6pm and my husband said it was very busy earlier in the day which is standard for a Saturday. Customer Service: 3/10 At least four employees passed by without acknowledging us or asking if we were doing okay. That's pretty standard for this store location. Luckily, we have been here enough times to know where everything is. I will say the folks at self-checkout are always friendly and willing to help. Diversity: 3/10 The HD location in south OP fares better in this aspect. The times we visit this store, we don't see a lot of diversity among the staff. There are a lot of women and some military veterans, which is a plus, but it can be better. They do have tenured staff members that have been at the store for more than fifteen years as well, which is beneficial if we need help finding something. Inventory: 2/10 I recently did an online order for pickup. The website said they had what I wanted but after placing the order, I got a call saying they did not have the item in stock. This was incredibly frustrating and I ended up going to Lowe's. This has happened several times now and one reason why we go to Menards or Lowe's first before coming here. Pricing: This is subjective because everything is expensive right now. It honestly depends on what you are looking for. Sometimes, items are cheaper at Lowe's or Menards and other times, HD has the item for the same price or cheaper. (If they have it in stock.) We've had good luck with bathroom hardware and fixtures and the paint is top notch! Overall: 6.75/10 It's Home Depot, so we know to expect. We get what we need and get out. I am with previous Yelpers-customer service at this location is what dampens the experience every time we visit. As mentioned before, we try Lowe's or Menards first before coming here, which is a bit further from our house. I will say the location on 95th and Metcalf is decent but further from home, so visits there are rare.

I don't know why this Home Depot has low ratings - it's a great store! They had everything I…read moreneeded, including a staff member working the self checkout to make sure there weren't problems. In and out, found everything I needed within 15 minutes. It's a smaller store, but well stocked.
