Sizzling eel rice - mixed with added green onions
    Cin-Yee S.

Great hidden gem at Blossom Valley and Snell, serving everything from sushi to ramen to sizzling rice plates to hot pot and more. Enjoyed my sizzling, eel rice ($17) and asked to add green onions. I feel like the plate could've been hotter so that I could get that crisped rice, but I can always take it home and fry it again. Service was very efficient and friendly.

Really good place to grab food with family. Located in a quiet corner off blossom hill and snell its food is really tasty. Service is really nice and fast too. You can order on your phone so very convenient and they have some sauces and seasoning at the table to make things just how you like.

No idea why it took me so long to finally try Mimi's Kitchen, but this place is a great little hole-in-the-wall gem. Plenty of parking made it easy, and right when you walk in, you're welcomed with friendly service and warm hospitality. The menu has a solid variety of Asian options, from ramen, sizzling plates, sushi and more so there's something for everyone. Everything we ordered was really tasty and well-prepared. You can tell they care about the food and the overall experience. Definitely coming back to try more items. Worth it and highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I found this place on TikTok and gave it a try last night. The restaurant was very cute and clean! The service was very fast and friendly. It was packed when we got there, but they seated us very quickly. I liked the ordering system where you scan the QR and order yourself. I haven't seen that in restaurants here in the US! The food was also SUPER tasty!!! The menu had so many great options, we didn't know what to choose. We definitely will be going back to try more!

Cute lil hole in the wall restaurant in the blossom hill area! Tucked in semi concealed corner of the aqui parking lot Mimi's kitchen is pretty easy to miss. Inside decor is minimal. You order via QR code at your table, but you pay with a server. We got the cucumber salad and 2 tonkatsu ramens. Loved everything we ate! Portions are really big for the price. Ramen had all the toppings and a generous amount of meat. It wasn't the best ramen I've had in my life, but for the price, pretty dang good. I'd like to come back and try their sushi rolls.

Craving a bunch of Asian food but not really sure what exactly? Mimi's Kitchen is an excellent choice since it has everything. From udon, sizzling plates, ramen, sushi, to hot pot. This place is great for indecisive groups. I've had their udon a year back and thought that was just okay. However, I decided to try their sushi tonight via DoorDash and was blown away by the presentation and quality of the sushi. All three of the rolls were excellent and this will be my go-to spot for sushi. This place is just down the street from my home, so I'll be sure to try other items in person.

My go-to spot for chinese/japanese comfort food. The hot pot is my favorite thing on the menu--super clean flavor with my favorite vegetables and vermicelli noodles. I always get a sushi roll with it and the quality of their fish is pretty good. Lovely family owned spot!

Great food, friendly and fast service, and nice quiet setting. You order with a QR code right from your table. Food comes quickly. We had miso, edamame, two orders of Philadelphia rolls and a 49er roll. All were tasty and fresh.

Nothing special. Food was just ok to eat. Not much to choose from. Service just as ok. The restaurant is cozy and clean

*Food* This is my third time going here and I love it every time! Ordered the 49'er roll (my go-to roll at sushi spots), seared salmon pressed sushi, and salmon sashimi bowl. Every roll was so yummy. The ingredients, especially the fish, tasted very fresh. I can tell they took their time to make each dish look presentable. The sushi to rice ratio was also balanced (not too much rice) and uniform all around. *Service* The service was good. The server was attentive. Food didn't take very long to come out even with a full restaurant. One thing to note is you scan a QR to order. I typically prefer a paper menu, but they had photos and the servers were attentive so it was no problem at all. *Ambiance* The inside decor is cute and modern. Sound levels were quiet to medium. I like the plates that they served the food on as well. Overall, very clean.

First time here and it was so good! I ordered online and the process was so easy. Location is in a plaza with a ton of parking and when I got there my order was ready. Service was also very nice and friendly. I appreciate the take-out packaging! It was so thoughtfully packed and the bag was nice and reusable And all the rolls were delicious! My favorite was the Golden train roll. And I also got the Spicy tuna roll and super California roll. I'll definitely be back!

This place is unassuming - in the corner of the plaza on snell and blossom hill. Plenty of parking. Super cute decor and friendly employees. I was a little nervous because they have a big menu - sizzling plates, hot pot, udon, sushi and more. However, I was really pleasantly surprised that our food was delicious! Sizzling katsu plate - a large portion of well-seasoned rice, chicken katsu, corn, and green onions served with gravy on the side. Cheesy corn - ok this is not good for you and very indulgent, but it was so good. Buttery corn with tons of cheese baked on top- it just worked! Sushi - we tried the lion king roll and the 49ers roll and both were really good. Also, their packaging for to-go orders is unreal- beautiful and functional. Every little detail is thought of and I can't wait to go back.

Discovered a hidden gem in a super convenient spot for a dinner meet-up. It's tucked away in the plaza behind a nail salon, so it's easy to miss if you're just driving by. We got there around 6pm and were the only ones in the restaurant, which had me a little skeptical at first. But about 30 minutes later, the place quickly filled up so glad we came early and snagged a table! For 4, we ordered: - 2x sizzling short rib pepper rice - sizzling pork katsu w/curry sauce - chicken udon soup - ika shoga yaki Since we were the first to order, everything came out pretty quickly. The dishes arrived on hot stone plates, sizzling with a cloud of smoke. Just be sure to stir or mix so nothing sticks to the bottom. Every dish was flavorful, portions were generous, and honestly, each plate was more than enough for one person (with room to share).

We walked in and were able to get seated right away and serve us drinking water. What we ordered: Clam ramen: 5/5, I added an egg, cooked perfectly. Broth is flavorful too. Decent amount with lots of clams. House ramen: 5/5, my niece loves it. She's usually a picky foodie like me. Karaage chicken: 5/5, very crispy. Save room for dessert, and order the matcha ice cream parfait. Hits the spot! I've drove by this place a few times and always see a long line, so I'm happy we tried it this time and I will be back since it's not far from where I live too.

The dish arrived cold, with ingredients sitting in a mildly warm broth, which made it unappetizing from the start. There was little attention to preparation--mushrooms weren't even sliced, and the kale was overly saturated in oil, making it unpleasant to eat. The tofu, which should have been a highlight, had an off texture, and the broth was too sweet for my taste. Even the noodles were forgettable. Overall, this was the least enjoyable bowl of ramen I've had. I'm genuinely surprised by the high ratings, as everyone at my table shared the same experience. If you're in a rush, this place might work--the food arrives within a couple of minutes of ordering, and there's ample seating with quick service. However, based on my experience, I wouldn't return--rush or no rush.

First off: the location of this place just turned out to be a very closed off location. Not a lot of people knew about it, and the entrance towards the restaurant was rather pretty dark. It seemed kind of unwelcome, and we even had to wait a little bit even though there were plenty of seats available (I would understand the shortage of people serving, but even then, that shouldn't be an excuse. We shouldn't be the ones bearing the responsibility for it). I felt like as if I was rushed through this whole experience. Not only were the seating places small, but also, the portion for what they were offering was not worth it for its price. The customer service was almost as if it was non existent. I tried their ramen, and while the ramen noodles were good, the chashu was really rubbery and the onion taste was too overpowering. In addition, the pork broth was too salty, and was WAY too hot. Also, the fact that four gyozas were a little bit too less. I honestly don't know if I'm going to come back, unless things improve otherwise. It's just my take on this restaurant, but I think they need quite a bit of improving.

We got the salmon spinach cream sauce udon, crispy onigiri bites, edamame, chicken karaage, and the salmon ikura seiro set. Out of everything, the crispy onigiri bites were my personal favorite. The chashu was incredibly flavorful and tender. It melted in your mouth and made each bite so satisfying. The salmon spinach cream sauce udon gave me pasta vibes, which I really enjoyed. The sauce was rich and comforting, and the flavors worked well together. The udon itself was a bit firmer than what I am used to, and not exactly my personal preference, but it was still delicious overall and paired nicely with the sauce. We wanted to order the Chicken Paitan DX but we were told that their grill was not working so they could not grill the chicken thigh that came with the DX order. The soups came in bowls that were irrgular shaped and colorful. Everything tasted good. The chicken Karaage was generously portioned and tasted great. My son devoured them in no time. The Hakata Tonkatsu had a very rich, well developed broth that was so delicious. Might have been a little too rich for me as I was not able to finish the meal. The chicken Paitan was also delicious but the broth was a lighter broth. Our gyoza order did not come until much later in the meal. We had to remind our waiter that we did not get our order. This dish, gyoza, was disappointing. It did not look like it was homemade - looked more store bought. We didn't care for the taste with the dipping sauce that came with it. Not sure if this was because we had the heavier broth first. It just fell flat after the robust and rich hakata tonkatsu meal I had. Service was friendly. The waiter and manager(?), were apologetic that the gyoza order was delayed (or forgotten?). They also apologized for their grill not working that day.
