Scheduling routine dental cleanings has always been easy and convenient. We decided to keep both children with the practice for orthodontics as well, thinking it would simplify appointments. However, we weren't aware that the orthodontist has limited office days and hours, which has made rescheduling appointments more challenging than expected. Had we known this upfront, we may have considered other options. That said, Dr. Wong has been wonderful and we're very happy with the care he provides. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. The only concern we've had is that the orthodontic assistant who sees my daughter has made her feel somewhat uncomfortable during the last few visits, possibly due to frustration over recurring broken brackets. Overall, we've had a good experience, and Dr. Wong has been a big reason why we've continued our orthodontic care here.

This time, they took a panoramic X-ray, but the dentist never came out to update us -- only the assistant said everything looked good. That didn't feel right. I later had another dentist review the same X-rays and found that my son has four wisdom teeth coming in -- something this orthodontist completely missed. At our next visit to replace a lost retainer, the dentist didn't even know about the wisdom teeth until I mentioned it. The financial coordinator, Rose, was rude and unprofessional. I requested a call from the dentist, but he never called back. When I followed up, he said parents must provide a reason when requesting a call -- an unacceptable response from a dentist and business owner. He also said he's so confident in his staff's training that there's nothing wrong with his practice. Unbelievable. Due to his lack of attention to detail and poor professionalism, I do not recommend this orthodontist.

My previous dentist wanted my wisdom pulled but Dr Vu had the keen eye to notice the nerves in my jaw. If i had gotten them removed i could have had permanent nerve damage. That in turn proved everything wrong from my last dentist and just how better Dr Vu is. He works fast and precise. The facility is super clean and looks so new. You can watch TV while getting your teeth done. Once your appointment starts you're in there getting it done. You're not sitting in a chair waiting for them to start. They have three different locations to schedule appointments which is incredibly important as we can be anywhere in the South Bay depending on school, home, or dance/sports schedule. The biggest compliment to them is their communication and patient care. Last night I needed to contact someone about an emergency appointment. They had someone on call to support the need at 8:30pm! My oldest daughter comes here for orthodontics as well as for her dentist and her braces plan is progressing well. My son comes here for dentist only for now and has seen Dr. Reham. She is amazing. Super skilled at what she does and super gentle with the kids. You definitely feel like you can trust her. My son had cavities that had to be filled, with laughing gas and it went very well. Finally, my youngest daughter had the most dental work done here after she experienced cavities and tooth decay due to drinking milk in bed as a baby and not brushing afterwards. She had to do the repair under general anesthesia at 3, which is super nerve-wrecking as a parent but under the care of Dr Nancy it went very well. We appreciate that everything is super kid friendly, from the coin kids get to retrieve a prize at the end of each visit, the tee shirt and picture with the dentist they get on their first visit, etc. We will keep coming here and also a special shoutout to all the dental assistants! I thought that was strange, my 8 yrs old never had cavity always have his regular check ups and last xray was done at previous dental office 6 months ago. Now coming to this new dental office, he didn't start with seeing the dentist to see maybe there is something questionable that needed xray to confirm but ordered xray to be done by the door as if it was getting a temperature?! Of course I denied it and was asked to sign a no xray waiver. I can't help questioning this clinic protocol on pediatric radiation protection, and I will speak to the floor manager over this issue.

Lately patients have had to put up with missed reminders, delays in scheduling appointments, and unexplained absences from the front desk that leave the customers hanging. On multiple occasions, I've arrived for appointments only to find no one at the front desk for extended periods. Follow-up calls about billing questions have gone unreturned, and I've had to call back several times to get simple issues resolved. When Yvonne is present and engaged, things run more smoothly, but the inconsistency makes it difficult to plan around appointments or trust that administrative matters will be handled properly. Dr. Chou himself is skilled and professional--the clinical care is not the issue here. However, the front office dysfunction significantly impacts the overall patient experience. For an orthodontic practice where patients need regular visits over months or years, reliable administrative support is essential. I hope management addresses these operational issues, as they're undermining what could otherwise be an excellent practice.
