Be careful with these guys. They don't own up to their mistakes at all. They promised my wife that our dual insurance will work to cover our daughter's braces. We verbally asked them are they sure multiple times and they assured us multiple times that everything is good. After our braces were done, they then tell us oh the our secondary insurance won't pay if there's already another insurance that covers it. Not only that, they used the lower amount from the first insurance instead of the higher amount from the second one. So under their assurances, they made us pay for TWO insurances premium, used the lower of the two insurances, then made us pay for their screw up. What did they do to help us after the mess and screw up? Nothing. So sad too bad. They didn't offer to make us whole or give us a discount for the mess. Do not trust these guys because even when they screw up, they will do nothing to help you. You will end up holding the bag. We ended up paying double what we were told we'd pay, not including the additional insurance premium on the second worthless insurance. This is our second kid to get braces here and this is how they treat their customers. read more

I had a Braces consultation about 8 years ago and the Dr.s say the same thing that I don't need them! haha. I will say I miss have straight teeth, but I guess it's not noticeable. It's just cosmetic. Dr. Phan is friendly and easy to talk to, we talk about tooth extractions, before and after, pre-molar all the fun and interesting stuff. My insurance plan doesn't cover Invisalign. Enso forever! I took my child to this place for making invisible retainer because of the good reviews. To my surprise, doctor missed the cavity before making the full set of retainers. Now we have full set of retainer for 18 months treatment, and the doctor office claimed that they don't take care of cavities. All the treatment may be screwed up by the treatment of cavity. A reputed doctor had referred my son for braces to this dentist. On the appointment day in my allotted slot early morning , I waited for more than 45 minutes along with my son. This dentist didn't turn up. Everyone's time should be respected. This kind of attitude in any profession is not acceptable. I'm an adult that needed braces a second time because I had braces when I was young but I didn't wear my retainer on a nightly basis. My bottom teeth became crooked again over the years, so I wanted to get help from Dr. Phan's office to fix the situation. I got braces put on by the staff and things were fine at first, but after several months I began complaining about my top teeth running into my bottom teeth whenever I would close my mouth. I explained that this wasn't allowing me to have a proper bite when chewing food or even just relaxing my jaw into its normal resting position. This is something I had never experienced before going to Dr. Phan's office. I complained about this month after month when I kept coming in for my appointments. Each time they told me that it was one of two things: 1) There was no issue as evidenced by them putting dental articulating papers between my teeth, having me bite down, and seeing no significant residue left on my teeth 2) The brackets from the braces were in the way of my bite, and it would all be fixed once I got them removed. At each appointment, I brough it up again and again, but they always explained it away each time. Then the time came for me to have my braces removed. They of course had me sign a document stating that once my braces were off, there would be no way of fixing the positioning of my teeth. Things would be final from then on. They took the braces off. And of course, at that appointment and every day since then, my top and bottom teeth still run into each other every time that I close my jaw. This makes for a very awkward way of keeping my mouth closed. It also makes the back of my jaw ache when I am eating because the muscles open and close at a strange angle because of where my teeth are now. It is apparent that the staff rely on the braces to do all the work and they do not listen to feedback that a client gives them. This is at least what happened in my case. I never would've gone to their business if I'd know that this is how things would go. Also, I wear my retainer every night. BUT they clearly did not move my teeth enough because every single day my teeth very quickly start becoming crooked again. When I put the retainer in at night, it hurts because my teeth have already moved so much during the day. There are so many reasons why this business did not work for my situation. In sum, I paid $5000 to have malocclusion for the rest of my life unless I get it fixed by someone else down the road. I do not recommend using their services. read more

Last 2 appointments they made my daughter wait well beyond the appointment time. Todays appointment for 9 and this is how it went... checked in by 9, asked around 9:20 when we were next... said one more person ahead of you, several people are called ahead. Get called back around 9:35. Continue to wait for the ortho. Ortho spends some time, makes adjustments, measures the wire. I glanced up and notice no one there helping my daughter. But she's not done. Now she's waiting for someone to come back and put on the wire and bands while the ortho moved on to the next person. Last appointment felt similar. Had to come in because the wire came out of the bracket and waited nearly an hour for a fix that took 5 minutes. So if your time is important- like needing to get your kid back to school or you have to show up to work, then you may want to reconsider this place seeing as how there are so many more options out there. Added stars for 1. Flexible payment schedule 2. They fixed my daughter's teeth without pulling any. Some orthos weren't sure that could be done. *** still waiting*** it's now 10:19am. read more

Invisalign review: The initial consultation I had with Dr. Phan was great however when I signed up for the treatment, things changed. The aligners were not fitting as well as the top one was more loose. In addition, not much information was given after I started treatment like how to take care of aligners or what to expect ( besides the free initial consultation where they will try to sell you Invisalign) Also when I went for my first appointment as a patient, I was not informed beforehand that I would be getting attachments on my teeth to help the aligners in place. A little warning and information would be nice. Although it seems many people had good experiences here as seen in the reviews (and why I decided to do treatment here), I would recommended other Invisalign providers. There are many diamond Invisalign providers . Dr. Phan is nice and knowledgeable, however his staff, who will be giving you the aligners, attachments and monitoring, are dismissive and rush you. No clear communication was provided me during the course of treatment. read more

Last year, I was shopping around to get my braces done. I found that Dr. Phan had glowing reviews and my experience did not disappoint. I visited four other places before him and not only was his price competitive but he exudes confidence in his craft. I knew right away this was the place. He has an amazing friendly team who each takes the time to remember your name and crack a light hearted joke here and there. The overall environment is very warm and welcoming. He also offers little goodies each time you check in so it keeps you looking forward towards the next appointment. He truly cares about his patients and will deliver the results you desire. Dr. Phan also took the time to further contour my teeth afterwards to perfection. During the change of lockdown, the office took serious measures to ensure safety and peace of mind to their patients. Before coming in, they require patients to sanitize their hands as well as check their temperature before entering. He implemented walls in between each station and placed an air purifier per area. I can't recommend this place enough and I'm so happy I got my braces done here. The results are better than I expected and I'm weirdly going to miss coming to the office. Joel made a treat bag full of sweets and snacks you can't have with braces (like popcorn) after my removal. Each bag came with a celebratory apple cider which was so cute. My 9yo son comes to Dr. Phan's office for his braces. We've been coming here for over a year now and have seen dramatic changes in my son's smile! My son's confidence and self esteem is also more positive because of it- this is everything to me and our family. I had my braces done back in 2003 and with Dr. Burnett. I hadn't been to the orthodontist in 15+ years. I decided to call and see if they were still around. I was greeted by Janet who remember me from years ago! To my surprise a new orthodontist took over, Dr. Phan! When I arrived for my appointment I checked in and got a call when it was my turn to come inside. Upon entry I sanitized my hands and got my temperature checked. I also noticed most of the staff (Joel, Janet +others) were still around and happy to see me after so long. Dr. Phan looked at my teeth and told me the best action plan that worked for me financially and the best option for straightening back out my teeth. He explained why my teeth were doing what they are throughly with images and props, made me feel comfortable and has a great sense of humor! A big thank you to Joel for taking my images. I came in for an Invisalign consultation. I met with Dr. Phan who was honestly so great. He was funny, quick and straight to the point. When I met with the financial advisor afterwards is when all took a turn. Janet looked up my insurance and mentioned how nice it was that my services would be 100% covered. It wasn't until after I signed all documentation to proceed with their services was when she started to question my coverage. They confirmed it actually wasn't 100% to which they agreed to cancel and let me have some time to consult elsewhere. I was so grateful at that point that Janet double checked because I would've had to pay a good amount out of pocket. The following month I went to another dental office and found they actually processed my paperwork. I called Janet and she submitted a claim for reimbursement. She assured me that "this has never happened before". Another month passes, I call my insurance to get an update and they have no record of the claim. I call Janet yet again and it turns out she submitted the claim incorrectly as an adjustment and had to resubmit another claim. Excuse me??? Lol. I came in on January 19th and finally on April 8th everything has been resolved. Mind you.. If I had never went to another dental office for a 2nd consultation and decided to discontinue pursuing Invisalign, I would've never known they processed my paperwork. I came to Phan Orthodontics after breaking my permanent retainer. I had a retainer in for 10+ years and thought I'd never have to see an orthodontist again, but I was wrong! First, it was super easy for me to make an appointment. I called on a Monday and they were able to get me an appointment in the same afternoon at 4:15pm. COVID guidelines are followed very well - once I got to the parking lot, I used a link to check in as they don't want too many in the waiting area at once. I got a call from the receptionist when it was time for me to come in. Upon entry, I had my temperature taken and sanitized my hands. There were also HEPA filters throughout the whole office. All the staff I had the pleasure of meeting were so sweet and caring! I was supposed to only have my old retainer fixed/re-glued, but instead they took it out and put in a brand new permanent retainer for me at no additional cost (thank you Dr. Phan and Joel!) I knew this took extra time and effort when they didn't need to at all, so I really appreciated the extra service. I've been highly considering getting Invisalign or braces (again) to fix my teeth after my teeth moved since I was a teenager. Dr. Phan didn't try to sell me on anything, but rather informed me of my options, how long it would take, and pricing. I had a ton of questions in which he answered all of them thoroughly, and didn't seem like he was rushing through his patients at all. Not trying to complain but I have to. I gave one the male tech many chances to work on my braces, but seemed like he had no clues sometime. He pulled out rubber with bare hand, then pressed the wire in made me felt like my teeth were coming out. The other time, he picked the regular rubber instead of the power and skipped some braces. Before I got braces at Phan Orthodontics, I went to another dental office but they were very unprofessional. One day, I decided to go with a friend for a consultation at Phan Orthodontics and I noticed how professional he was. I cancelled my appointment at another place and was charged a $300 fee for cancellation. It's fine because that's was my fault. After that I made an appointment for consultation at Phan and they gave me a $300 discount. HOW WONDERFUL ARE THEY!! Throughout the 3 years coming here, Dr. Phan and his staffs were amazing They were very sweet and kind. One time, I looked over my profile on their screen, I saw Dr. Phan wrote "Do her teeth until she's happy". I felt so touched. After 3 years ( 2 years half and 5 months quarantined) I finally got my braces off. I love my teeth right now and I can't stop smiling.
