Dr. Witte and her staff are wonderful and very pleasant to work with. What I love the most is how they handle after hour service and emergencies when they are closed. You can reach Dr. Witte after hours, she is so patient and calm even while she's on vacation, and got my son in the next day at another location. She listens to you and your child's concerns, makes recommendations that works well. She's a great orthodontist with an awesome team!!! read more

My dental hygienist referred Low and Witte to me as I am now going through braces for a second time. I am really happy I went with them because the entire staff is very friendly, supportive, and respectful. I can say that they care about doing a great job, and not just about the patient. So far, my patient experience since Sep. 2025 has been wonderful! read more

I was a patient of Dr. Low over 40 years ago and am glad to hear he is still helping others. I used to live near his office and enjoyed going there more than my regular dentist. I wished I had taken better care of my teeth when I was younger, but I did after I had my braces removed. read more

I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and empathetic care provided by Low & Witte's staff. I'm an older patient who got braces at 39! I had really bad crowding on both top and bottom. I just got my braces off last week after three years of treatment. I'm so satisfied with my new smile. Part of the delay was because of a dental implant that took a while to schedule and heal from my dentist's office. I had a fantastic experience overall. Even with Covid hitting the Bay Area two months after I got my braces, the office followed all safety protocols and scheduled my appointments according to county guidelines. I felt very safe visiting during the pandemic. My 8 year old son also had braces off and on for nine months at this location a short time after I got mine. Low and Witte were really great about scheduling and coordinating our appointments together. My son was comfortable throughout the entire process. We were giving thorough explanations at every appointment and everyone we dealt with had gentle hands. I highly recommend Low and Witte whether your a kid or an adult for any ortho treatments! Thank you to everyone at Low and Witte! read more

Low and Witte Orthodontics - Orthodontists Near Me - San Jose, California

My twin girls have been going to see Dr Witte for over a year now. One of my girls has braces and one has invisalign. My daughter with braces has no complaints about her experience and with Covid I have not had much face time with the office or folks in the office. On the other hand, the care for my daughter with invisalign has been INCONSISTENT to BAD. She was given trays that didn't fit and then they told us that they had no trays for her and had NO IDEA when she would have her trays - they eventually stopped scheduling her appointments because they have no trays for her! But of course the monthly payments continue! Covid was blamed for not having trays and not knowing when trays would come in but in discussions with my dentist office they have not heard of ANY issues with getting invisalign trays, Covid or no Covid. Had I known this orthodontist office would have these issues I would have had my dentist fit at least the one girl with invisalign through their office. They are not quick to respond to messages left for call back. I am desperate to get the attention of this office to remedy this situation, hence I am writing up my experience here on Yelp. In short, I would not recommend Dr Witte, too bad I have already paid over a year into their treatment, I would pull them out of this office and find a more attentive and competent orthodontic office. read more

Three members of our family are patients at Low & Witte Orthodontics. I had Invisilign, my son has traditional metal braces, and my daughter is getting interceptive treatment. Attending appointments are not a chore because the entire staff is friendly, cheerful, and full of positivity. Procedures and potential side effects are explained clearly and thoroughly. You truly feel the recommendations are tailored and focused on the best interests of the patient. Even though the office is closed on Fridays, they thoughtfully came in and opened their office to fix a broken wire for my son so that he did not need to be discomfited all weekend. It is not surprising that they are very popular in our community and have been for decades. read more

Today I was delivered my final set of Invisalign trays! It's been a long time coming. I am so happy with how my everything turned out. I can't believe that my severe overbite is finally fixed! My lower teeth are now visible again when I bite down and my upper teeth no longer touch my gums when I bite down. They even polished my teeth to remove a chip I had and are going to to provide me with a home bleaching kit. Everyone at Low and Witte have been amazing! They have made the process as painless as possible. I will be back in January because I want to do a thicker overnight retainer since I tend to grind. This also gives me the opportunity to elect to have a flexible spending account for next year to pay for it. We will eventually be back when it is time for my son to get braces. read more

I was referred to Dr. Low by a friend and couldn't be more pleased with the results. I had braces as an adult and was skeptical if my overbite could be corrected. I also didn't want to pay thousands of dollars to be misled. Dr. Low was very honest, diligent and gentle throughout my treatment. I couldn't believe that after many many years I was pain free of TMJ; my bite was significantly improved and I had straight teeth! I then referred my nephew for treatment and his teeth are beautiful! The time has come for my children (ages 12 and 8) to get braces. They recently got their braces placed by Dr. Witte. My 12 year old did well, the 8 year old is very shy and I was worried how this would play out. (This is a kid that will cry the whole time he has a cleaning). At first he cried but Dr. Witte was VERY patient, gentle and explained her every move while repeatedly assuring my 8 year old that she would not hurt him. She has the magic touch because within no time he stopped crying and trusted her. I anticipate the follow up appointment to go smoothly. I was very impressed how much time she spend to gain his trust and communicate with him. She is very compassionate and that means the world to me. Although, I have to drive to the other side of town for visits, it is completely worth knowing my children's orthodontic care is in the hands of true experts in the field. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The front staff are extremely kind and tentative. The assistants are very skilled and friendly. Dr. Low and Dr. Witte are highly knowledgeable, compassionate and professional. They take great pride in their work and want the patient to be satisfied with the treatment. read more

Carla is amazing her staff is so patient and courteous. They are good at in a way I could understand the breakdown of payments. My daughter got braces today my insurance doesn't cover it. They offered care program . They ran my credit. I got almost full cost approved. I love it here! I would recommend this office to everyone!! read more

I got referred to Low and Witte Orthodontics by my cousin. Everyone here is very professional, careful and friendly. They did a very good job during Covid-19 pandemic, which made me feel safe and comfortable. I also recommended this place to my sister, and we both have had a great experience. I finally removed my braces today, and I'm extremely happy with the result. Now I can confidently smile with my teeth! The process was not as painful as I had thought. To anyone who is thinking about getting braces, I definitely recommend Low and Witte Orthodontics read more

Amazing!!! They are working on my crooked smile and turning it into a brand new, super awesome, clean smile! They even cured my mom's smile when she needed braces. Now I'll have braces and my smile will go from meh to WOW!! Thanks Dr. Low and Dr. Witte!! read more

I'm 63 and never got braces when I was younger because I was told they would need to break my lower jaw to fix my under bite, which I was totally against. Two years ago my dentist asked about braces and he referred me to Dr. Witte. After 2.5 years, my teeth are straight and my under bite is gone (all without having to break my jaw). I could not be more pleased with how my teeth look. Dr. Witte and staff are terrific! They are very pleasant and were very responsive to all of my questions and needs. The service they provide is outstanding. Thank You Again!! read more

I first started going to Dr Low and Witte years ago when my girls needed braces . They loved going to the office and saying hello to all the staff and getting their tokens to spend on prizes . Everyone was so friendly and both Dr Low and Dr Witte are so helpful when it came to the treatment plan for each of my girls. So naturally when I decided to get braces (after theirs was finished of course ) I trusted them with creating a beautiful smile for me. Dr Witte met with me and listened to my request for how I wanted my teeth to look but still maintained meticulous care to follow all guidelines for my treatment . I couldn't of asked for a more perfect outcome . All of the staff greeted me as if I were family every time I came for my appointment . Dr Witte, Anna , Joelynne , and Jessica as well as all the other staff make an amazing team and I will always recommend them for excellent orthodontics care (my sister's kids had their braces done there as well!) . read more

I just finished my Invisalign treatment today and I could not be more pleased and excited with my results! I was told from the beginning that my treatment would take up to 2 years but I actually finished in 1 year and 7 months! Invisalign takes complete dedication and responsibility by the patient in order to achieve the best results. You must wear the trays at least 22hrs a day, floss and brush after every meal. I carried an oral hygiene kit in my purse. The trays are nearly invisible, hardly anyone ever noticed I had them on, not even my own family. I am 35 years old and this has to be one of the best choices I have made for myself. I just wish I would have done it a long time ago. I can't stop looking at my new beautiful smile :) all thanks to Dr Low and Dr Witte. I would highly recommend going to them if you are considering treatment. They are so kind, professional & affordable. They explained the process every step of the way with me. Dr Witte made sure I left my last apt with a perfect smile! The staff is also fantastic to work with, everyone is just so friendly and outgoing there! I will be taking my daughter in March to start her braces treatment. Thanks again Dr Low and Dr Witte for my beautiful smile!!!! You guys are the best! ~Heather read more

Pretty smooth process. Great staff. They're very honest with you about the whole process.

I have been a customer for more than two years. Dr. Witte and her staff has been very patient, and explain things very clearly. I especially thank their effort to coordinate with my oral surgeon and dentist, they did extra work to accommodate my implant surgery; went above and beyond. Dr. Witte is always gentle and supportive. My two daughters are having invisiline at their office, too. I give them my highest recommendation. read more

Great, friendly staff!! Bummer that they are not open Fridays. Lots of parking in the lot. The office is always clean, organized, & the dds its great!! He explains everything that its going on and answers all questions. The office offered a discount if payment is paid in full within 30 days. I'm not sure if still available but was when my daughter had her braces put on. Accepts dual insurance coverage...always a plus!! Braces are crazy expensive, so having dual insurance coverage is a total plus!! They have a movie playing while the patients are having work done on the braces. Age appropriate movies are played. I was referred here by my cousin who brought her twin boys here, she was very satisfied with the staff as well as the service provided. I'm thankful for the referral. read more

Dr Low and Dr Witte are the best! I had braces as a teen and of course never wore my retainers. I was skeptical to go back to an orthodontist but with some convincing and such an unhappiness with my teeth, i finally took the plunge. The office is so welcoming. I decided to go with the Invisalign service, i've been wearing my trays consistently and couldn't be happier with the results so far. read more

I highly recommend Dr.low! My daughter had wonderful attention when she first got her braces! But the truly remarkable thing is that now that she's 17 she has had some issues with her jaw we needed to go back to Dr. Low for help and he was so kind and helpful with everything we needed. Dr. Low said we are part of the family and that is how he treats all his patients, like family. read more
