What a find! A hidden gem of a place! I brought a young family member here who doesn't currently speak English. She was a bit scared as that she didn't know what to expect. The entire staff was so kind, comforting and generally displayed excellent bed-side manners. They're very honest with you and really care about their patients. They don't try to sell you on anything you don't need. They thoroughly clean and polish my teeth. Aurgh, I've been going here for over 10 years, but lately it's been impossible to work with them. I would give direct feedback, but nobody even answers the phone or returns voice mails anymore. They charge you if you're late or miss an appointment, but then you come on time and they have you sitting there waiting forever. Last time my husband was late to work since they had him sitting in the lobby waiting 40 minutes for a simple teeth cleaning. He's already moved on to another dentist. Before you make an appointment here, please read my review‼‼ my daughter is 5 years old and has anxiety when seeing a dentist, ever since our last visit here. From the get-go the male dentist seemed very agitated because my daughter kept crying due to her being scared. One thing he told her was "If you keep moving, you're going to have to come back". I understand he has a job to do, perhaps console pediatric patients rather than asserting dominance and authority, yeah? Keep in mind she's 5, not 10. At our new dentist, they took X-rays and our new dentist said that this doctor has put medication into the nerve and filled the tooth with a filling even though the infection was too far -- which you're not supposed to do as stated by the dentist at the new facility. As a result, my daughter will have to get her tooth extracted. I will be taking further action, so this does not happen to anyone else / their child. read more

They accept medical insurance! I came in for cleaning and x rays and they did amazing! I was told I had a root canal and was referred to another dentist office which was nice of them! I have been going to Edenvale Dental for over 10 years now. I started going here because it was close to my house but then fell in love with it. The staff is friendly and the facility is always clean. The main reason I started loving this place is because as a child, they would put on movies while doing my teeth to distract me. Even as an adult they sometimes put movies on which is nice because then I don't have to have the awkwardness of talking with instruments in my mouth! They are super fast and I have never spent an excessive amount of time in the waiting room. Getting an appointment is also not a hassle. I like that they text you the day before to confirm and remind you. Their Covid protocols are also great. You text when you're outside and they let you know when to come in. They check your temperature and have air filters inside. They are following social distancing and made me feel very safe! read more

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Edenvale Dental for the care and service provided to me over the last 15 years. The last several years my primary Dr Jenny and her assistant Thu have really been outstanding. Most recently they repaired an implant that was mis-installed 31 years ago on the east coast. It was a complicated and risky procedure and they both executed brilliantly for a successful result. They also recently installed a new implant which I am very satisfied with. Over the years I have been treated at Edenvale Dental by several doctors including Dr Tracy and Dr Amy and others. I have been bringing my mom here for years. Recently though, she got a female doctor who made her feel self conscious- I actually blame myself for not going in with her because she's handicap. We just requested a new doctor. Dr. Chris. Dr. Chris seemed nice enough. When he did her cleaning he asked if he could remove some teeth and we could get her fitted for partials next visit (she already has partials, so no big deal). We made it a point to ask if her partials would be ready by the holiday season because we had a lot of family coming to visit. Fast forward a few months and went back to get fitted for partials and they said they wanted to remove more teeth. I told them what was said by Dr. Chris and was confused why they didn't just do them at the same time. Especially because he said my mom needed time to heal before she could get fitted for partials. But he was insistent that he never said that. But both my mom and I remember him saying the same thing so... anyway, after lots of back and forth with the staff I finally asked to talk to Dr. Chris myself and when I spoke to him he was so irritated before he even spoke with me. I was polite so he diffused but what a disrespectful tone. He then told his staff he wouldn't be able to do any more extractions with a signed form from her medial health provider. (Which is a whole other Yelp review, but basically her medical doctor gave us records instead of signing a form) Dr. Chris refused to read it and decide for himself. He is now refusing to work on my mom further and recommended a specialist which doesn't take her insurance. So fast forward almost 8 months later, my mom has no front teeth. So beware because they lie and they will refuse to work with you when your health providers or insurance sucks too. Way to take care of your clients. And to put a cherry on top, they keep sending us reminders to go back for a cleaning- but they made it clear they won't do anything else. Would never recommend. read more

If you want to have healthy teeth and beautiful smile, run to the pretty and talented Dr. Tracy Trần. The journey to save my teeth- Part 2 (Pls see Part 1 posted on 11/7/2021) Dr. Tracy and I first opted for an extraction and implant for the abscessed tooth since this was a very complicated case. Unfortunately I learned that my insurance does not cover implants so she kindly referred me to see an endodontist for a second opinion to see if the tooth could have a small chance to be saved. Later, I learned that I had had a whole mouth pain, not just a few teeth. During the pandemic, I added a lot of Vitamin C in my smoothie and drank it without using a straw. I stress ate and drank a lot of sweet without knowing what I was eating & drinking. I grinded my teeth more:). I destroyed the enamel of my teeth. It is towards the end of the year, Dr. Tracy, even with her super busy schedule to help all of her clients, has kindly and patiently helped me getting through this difficult time. I now have no pain and can chew on both sides. I feel so blessed and thankful. Again, many thanks to Dr. Tracy & all of her staff for excellent services to my family. Seeing the dental staff/receptionists Linh, Vân, Thư, Lena, Claire,Tammy, Gladys, Kathy......(I am sorry if I miss your names, I had been in pain and lived on pain relief) brought back a lot of kind, weet, sometimes funny, memories. I've been to several dentists before but Edenvale dental by far the best, especially Dr. Tracy. She's our dentist and also our orthodontist. My daughter had her braces done with Dr. Tracy and I just had my invisalign removed. My little man is in the process of having his done as well. The office can be pretty busy so expect to wait for your turn (hardly paying copay at this office unless you're having a major procedure). They also offer reasonable payment plan for ortho services. Not only that my daughter had her wisdom tooth removed by Dr Tracy (she's very gentle and professional). Front office staff are friendly and you will get phone call to remind you of your upcoming appointment. Overdue review. I've been coming here for about 8 years. They have a sister group (Evergreen Hills Dental) who I've been going interchangeably for 5. Both are awesome, honest, and knowledgeable. In this location, Dr Mindi, Dr Michael, and Dr Linda all great and the best dental office I've had been to. Currently I go to Evergreen Hills more because my insurance changed. I just wish I can come back to this location because it is much closer to my house and I miss Dr Linda! read more

from the moment you enter the office and are greeted by the receptionist to meeting w/ Dr. Mindi, you are treated as a good friend or a family member. they have always promptly get my daughter and I in within 5minutes after we arrive and get us out within the hour...yes both of us. the dentist assistants and Dr. Mindi great and are gentle and my 7 yr old are not scared of going to the dentist. their follow-up appts for any teeth issues are within a week and is very accomodating of your work hours. i totally recommend this office to everyone. they are open 6 days a week from 9am - 6pm...and the later hours work great for this working mom. read more

I've been coming here almost my whole life but after this last time I genuinely don't think I can come back. First of all, I came in on time and had to wait about 40 minutes to go back but I wasn't too concerned. While in the waiting room however, I heard the front desk calling everyone urging them to move their appointment times up. There was no reason for this other than they simply wanted to go home early and they would all cheer when someone agreed to do so. Not my business but unprofessional. Once I got back into the room to get two small fillings, my dentist didn't know how many fillings I needed or on what teeth. After explaining what my usual dentist had said he tried to tell me he'd only do one filling today. I told him I specifically booked to do both at the same time. After arguing he finally agreed to do me a "favor" and do the filling. I almost left then and I should've. The whole process was horrible and my dentist was clearly rushing. The assistant was either shoving the suction down my throat or not using it at all. On top of that, every time she took it out she hit me in the face with the tube and I got spit all over my face. Then someone came in and said they needed a room. The dentist got mad at me and rudely said "see now we're behind cause I did this for you". As if I didn't schedule for two fillings and the front desk didn't move up everyone's appointments. He rushed to finish and my filling was not all the way solid/ cured. My tooth has been in extreme pain ever since and I cannot eat on that side. Will need to get it fixed. Again I came here my whole life and am shocked that this happened. Do not come here. read more

Dentists are great however their new front office staff needs some work. Pro's: - Dentists are great and very knowledgable. They never push you into any procedures that they don't think you need. Con's: - Saturday appointments are about 3-4 months out. - I had to call the front office staff to ask if they did a pre-auth when I never received a call to confirm. They need additional training. I woke up several days ago with severe tooth pain, and did not have an established dentist to call. Everyone I was referred to by friends had very limited hours and I needed to be seen soon! I was referred to Dr. Ly and it was a fabulous experience. Their hours are very convenient and they got me in fast! I admitted that I hadn't seen a dentist in quite awhile and I received NO shame from either the hygienist or Dr. Ly. They explained everything they did every step of the way and I had no pain or discomfort the entire time they were working on me. Dr. Ly addressed all my concerns and made a plan with me for dental care after the acute situation is fixed (root canal time, yay). The real shock was when I went to pay (no dental insurance) - the cost for full X-rays and a very intense cleaning was significantly lower than I expected, to the point where I asked the front desk if a mistake had been made. Not only will I be back after I have my root canal for follow-up care, but I'm switching my daughter to Dr. Ly as well. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! read more

I was very SAD when my tooth cracked yesterday morning. I hadn't been to the dentist in over 5 years, so I knew it wasn't going to be easy. I wanted to fix this problem fast before I had extreme pain. I called Edenvale Dental Group after seeing their ad in the yellow pages. I asked if there was any possible way they could take me today, even though I didn't have an appointment. The receptionist was very nice and got me an appt. for 45 minutes from the time I called. Since I don't have insurance I was scared about what kind of damage this was going to do to my wallet. She gave me an estimate of what it was going to cost over the phone, so I would be prepared. She also told me that since I would be paying cash without insurance I would get a 30% discount! yay! I need all the help I can get. Ok, so i went to my appt. and the receptionist again, was friendly, had me fill out some new patient forms and then I had to wait for about 2 minutes before they called me back. When she took me to the room to wait for the dentist she said "let me put a movie in for you". I thought it was going to be some weird movie on the importance of flossing and brushing, but to my surprise she put in Hitch! Entertainment! Plus it was really clean in there, which is important! A short while later Mimi came in and talked to me about my problem tooth. I told her I hadn't been to the dentist in a LONG time. She asked me if I wanted a cleaning today then as well because they would have to do x-rays anyway for $20 and then if I wanted a cleaning (which i REALLY needed) it would just be $19 more dollars. Mimi took my x-rays and polished my teeth before the dentist came in to do the rest of the cleaning. She was very sweet and always asked if I was ok or if i was in pain. She also told me to raise my left hand if I wanted her to stop. I really liked that because how else are you supposed to tell them to stop if you have all of those tools in your mouth? Then the dentist, Tracy came in. Again, a very nice person. She cleaned my teeth for me and looked at my x-rays. She then told me that it was up to me if i wanted to stay and wait to have my filling done, or if I wanted to make an appointment for later. She let me know it would be Ok either way. I decided I had enough for one day and made an appt. for the next week. Of course there were more things that had to be done since I hadn't been to the dentist in 5 years. The receptionist wrote everything down for me and all of the estimates for everything too! I got my free toothbrush and I was out the door! read more

This place gave me the best cleaning ever! For $49, I recieved x-rays, exam, and cleaning. The dentist basically took almost an hour to clean out every last bit of plaque and calcium buildup above the gums. I was recommended to get deep cleaning underneath the gums because of calcium buildup. Another dentist I went to 2 years back recommended the same so I knew they were not trying to rip me off. I was really impressed that the dentist, Linda, took so much time to help me out and make sure I received the best cleaning and for such an affordable price. I need to go back to get my deep cleaning but since I do not have dental in surance, I would have to pay a little over $300 out of pocket. They do give cash discounts too. I am saving money and at the same time, checking other dental insurance plans to see if I can get covered for the procedure without long waiting periods. read more

So I decided to give them a call and within the next day I got an appointment. Great Service! Neat and clean office. The staff is very helpful and they always update with your next appointment. My review is in response to specific work I've had done here that is not up to par. Back in 2013 I went in for a simple cavity. It was "fixed," but once home I felt intense pain in the tooth. When I came back in, after a few days, I found out that the filling was not properly fitted to my mouth and was causing the discomfort. They simply filed it down and I was on my way again. This month I went in for another cavity... I know. Anyways, I didn't feel any discomfort but the x-rays said they should fill it. Once again, I'm at home experiencing discomfort in a tooth that felt fine before. It may just be another simple file or maybe worse. At this point I'm not prepared to go back and find out. read more

Dr. Tracey AND staff get 5 stars for the warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere. I was recommended to this place by my mom, and shortly after my entire family started coming here, and now I'm trying to get everyone else I know to come here too. My plan is kind of backfiring because now her schedule is starting to fill faster! Open everyday except for Sundays, and as late as 6 or 7pm, this dental office is very accommodating. They give you an appointment reminder card as well as call to confirm a day or two before. Walking in, you're greeted promptly and the wait area has new magazines, a clean couch, a good movie, and there's even a playstation for kids. There's a wide variety of dvds to choose from that you can enjoy while your teeth are being serviced. DR. TRACEY IS AMAZING WITH CHILDREN. My son is 5 and has been going to her since he was 2 1/2, and my daughter is now 3. Both get excited to go here! They've had gentle cleanings and my son has had to have a few cavities filled.. meaning shots.. but has never cried about them, he hardly notices. Do not come here, they have the worst customer service ever! I was on a hunt for a new dentist for my family since my original dentist relocated. One of my fillings came out and I was worried about it and wanted to find a good dentist fast. I looked up this dentist since it's near me. I called a week ago to schedule the appointment for myself and daughter. The woman who scheduled my appointment (heiu) took down all detailed information in regards to insurance. She calls me the day of my appointment asking to reschedule since she couldn't verify insurance. This was upsetting since I booked this a week ago, I explained that I couldn't reschedule since I have a newborn and weekends would be better. I asked to proceed with my appointment. Then she says we canceled it so I have to see if we can squeeze you in. This was so upsetting and wrong. She just canceled our appointments without letting me know. She said she canceled it because she thought I didn't have insurance. I then asked even if I didn't, you guys don't take uninsured clients?? She said yes we do, I then said well then if I'm accepting responsibility then why cancel my appointments without letting me know. I have full coverage medical,Dental, vision for my family. It's not my fault that you didn't do your job of verifying anything the whole week or even the day I booked it. Heiu was so rude and unprofessional and didn't even care of the fact that I have an open tooth that needs to be taken care of. I don't recommend this place that doesn't care for your dental health. At first I was very happy with this dentist and the staff but as time passes the staff , well to me seemed less friendly . Also the dentist is so busy that he has to work in between patients . Like on one of my appointments he has to keep going back and forth between me and another patient. Doctors are excellent, clean facility, the prices are good, discounts offered for non-insured customers. I believe I got 15-20% off a lot of my work. They make a price plan sheet when they first see you, so there are no hidden fees. Cleanings are also a good price ~$70. There is one dentist there, Dr. James, that is very thorough and detailed in his work. He is the only dentist there that was able to determine a major issue I had with one of my teeth, that three other dentists couldn't identify I might add. I only had an issue with one dental assistant that was quite rude towards me when the dentist left the room. She was upset about my scheduled appointment, and time I spent in their office being over the time limit and she said, "next time you should book a longer appointment," and gave me a weird holier than thou stare. I was so shocked that she was frankly so stupid. It's not up to the patients how long the visit is, that is for the dentist to determine and the front desk to schedule! English clearly wasn't her first language, so for her to try and start arguing with me was just annoying, let alone her having no clue what she was talking about. I told the front desk, and hopefully they spoke to her about scolding patients... especially since it wasn't her place to do so in the first place. read more

TAM LY made me felt like home... She made sure to accommodate my schedule. She arrange to have my 6 yrs old son in a private room and asked him what movie he would like to watch. Of course he picked 'Iron Man". All the ladies up front is VERY friendly... It's always nice to step in an office and see such bright smiles greeting you. The office is clean and nice! You know this place is generally good. I have been looking at dentist office for years and when i found this place they had just opened their office. In other words, i have been goign there for many years. I also know the doctor via my friends. I really enjoy the cleanness ni the office and everyone being friend. The problem though is that doctor does not really care that much about the patients. Of course, i'm a known person over there so they are good with me but i have referred over 20-30 people there and most of them are complaining that Dr Mindi is not responsive. Dr. Mindi Thai DDS does a great job! I would recommend "Dr. Mindi" for both her dental work and her personality. She's not just one of the most conscientious dentists I've ever met, but perhaps the most conscientious person I know. When she is doing her dental work you get the very, very strong impression that she wants the results to be perfect. The work she's done on me has been great. She's also a nice person as well. Over the years I've enjoyed our conversations while she's performing her work. Of course, as you know, conversations in the dental chair can be quite one-sided so she has to do most of the talking:) I should also mention that the people at the front desk and the rest of the staff couldn't be more friendly and conscientious. Dr. Dong = 5 stars Staff=5stars Office interior= 5stars 6/1/2010 I broke a tooth and was recommended to this office. It was my first visit and I was impressed, with so many aspects of my visit. 1. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. The check frequently if you are doing alright. 2. Dr. Dong was awesome! He took time to explain everything and was patient if you had question. He was super considerate all during the procedure , checking if I was doing alright. He listens really well, I told him that Im very sensitive to pain and that usually I have to have extra numbing because I usually can still feel pain. He did a excellent job numbing me up I didn't feel a thing! The also know and ask if you mouth needs to rest, so the will stop and let you close you mouth and take a break, and they put Vaseline around your mouth so your mouth doesn't crack, very nice touch! 3. The atmosphere is so harmonious, everyone gets along really great, the seem like a big family and Dr Dong was really nice to his assistants, which I like to see in a doctor. 4. The interior of the office looks brand new and clean. I really like how they have a DVD playing while your in there, it's a nice distraction and calm you down.
