If I could give more than 5 stars, I 10000% would. TL;DR: I sincerely cannot recommend Coastline Smiles and Dr. Daniel enough. If you're looking for a 5 orthodontist who is skilled, honest, patient, and genuinely invested in giving your child the best possible outcome, Dr. Daniel is your guy. Thank you, Dr. Daniel, and thank you to your entire staff for making these past 3.5 years such a wonderful experience. We are truly grateful to all of you. Story time: My daughter has been a patient here for the past 3.5 years, and I can honestly say we've had nothing but an amazing experience with Dr. Daniel and everyone at Coastline Smiles. Our original treatment plan was expected to take about two years with both Phase 1 and Phase 2 but because my daughter's adult teeth came in slower than expected, treatment ended up lasting over three years instead. Throughout the whole time, Dr. Daniel was super patient and understanding. He never tried to rush the treatment just to stick to the original timeline. Instead, he always focused on what was best for my daughter. As her anticipated braces removal date approached, she became antsy to get them off, as most kids are. But there were still a few adjustments that needed to be made. Dr. Daniel always kept the end goal in mind and recommended we wait a little longer to ensure her teeth and bite were in the absolute best position possible rather than removing the braces too soon. Of course, we trusted his recommendation, and I am so glad we did. The final results are absolutely beautiful, and we couldn't be happier, especially my daughter. What truly sets this office apart isn't just the incredible orthodontic work Dr. Daniel does; it's the people he employs. Dr. Daniel is super kind, very patient, and extremely knowledgeable in what he does. You can genuinely tell how much he cares about every one of his patients. That same level of kindness can be felt by his staff during the visits as well. During each visit, we were greeted in a friendly and welcoming manner by his staff, and they always made us feel comfortable. Now that the initial treatment plan is done, we are still very excited to continue coming back for retainer checks over the next several months. We even joked that maybe we should just keep my daughter in treatment a little longer so we'd have an excuse to keep seeing everyone. When those retainer visits eventually come to an end, I know we'll genuinely miss seeing Dr. Daniel and his amazing team each month. It's funny because I never thought I'd feel sad about finishing orthodontic treatment, but here we are. At the same time, it makes me happy knowing they'll continue helping so many others achieve the same beautiful results and receive the level of care, if not better, positive experience that we had. We have been going here for sister's braces. Dr. Daniel and the front desk staff are always so amazing and helpful. The initial exam for my sister's braces -- Dr. Daniel made sure to walk us through what changes we will see and if there were any adjustments we wanted on our end. The process was super helpful and informative for us, putting us at ease the entire way. We were referred through our friend, another dentist, after seeing our then 4 year old who at the time expressed some pain in his mouth. We made an appointment with Dr. Suzanne Nguyen --and our little boy, never looked more enthusiastic to be at the dentist! The picture shows! So this is a brand new location .So we have been coming for our orthodontist treatment for my two kids , to see Dr Daniel.for over 4 years through orthodontics treatment and braces !! The first location is San Jose dental Specialist ... located at 1569 Lexan Ave San Jose ca suite 222 . My kids love Dr Daniel Nguyen he is so kind and very friendly especially with my youngest who just started orthodontist treatment who is very nervous . He makes my children laugh to feel comfortable with jokes and not be scared . His staff is so friendly and caring . This new location Coastline Smiles in south San Jose is located In the small shopping center, across the parking lots is a Dennys . This is a new offfice is huge , has a small play area for children ,to sit and play . My kids love the shark bench area . They can sit next to and take pictures . my kids enjoy the big tv located on the ceiling while they get there treatment done . Must come check Coastline smiles out for your orthodontic treatment or dental work to teeth cleaning . Great prices on braces in the area .. They do take insurance or can pay cash or set up payments for your dental needs. When looking for an orthodontist for my daughter I had shopped around, had about 3 different consultations elsewhere, and we decided for Dr. Daniels. We automatically felt at ease with his knowledge and compassion. His staff is superb from the start, always ready for us as soon as we walk in through the door, to say we've never sat in the waiting area waiting for treatment is not an exaggeration. We have been going to San Jose dental clinic for years. I am glad that Dr. Suzanne opened a new clinic near our area. She and her teams took good care of my son for years. My son's has ongoing dental problems including dental procedure and cavities. They explained me necessary procedures before they did. My son was not in pain during and after procedure. We are happy about that. I took him to a different dentist before who was very rough with him. He was afraid to see a dentist after that. Then I found Dr. Suzanne's clinic in yelp with good reviews. He likes Dr. Suzanna's clinic ever since then. He is happy to see his dentist. The clinic is nice and clean with strict COVID screening. The receptionist is nice and usually calls back within 24 hours if I leave messages. I wish they will add adult services in her new clinic. read more
