We had a very late lunch here yesterday. The original cheesesteak was much like a real Philly. The meat tender & thin, the mix of cheese tasty, the onions grilled perfectly & the bread a winner! They bake their breads fresh every day. The gyro was the best I have had in California. Again, tender meat flavored perfectly, the vegies fresh, the sauce delicious & of course, the wrap itself so soft & a generous amount of everything at affordable, fair prices. We'll be back whenever we return to Rocklin. The gentleman who helped us (I believe he was the owner), was helpful & very kind. They have burgers & other selections, too. A small place, but absolutely delicious. I love that there's three kinds of genres (greek, philly's, and fried). The philly cheesesteaks are good, if not a little plain (the "original" only has onions-- ie no peppers or mushrooms?). The gyro and shwarma are really good. We've got two picky kids, so the menu (pizza, chicken tenders, etc) were exactly what we needed. I had the chicken tenders too-- they were super yummy. It's right close to the freeway, so it's a perfect stop in the way to Tahoe! Authentic Gyros! I've been to Greece, Athens and Crete- these are the real deal. The meat is a lamb-beef mix and very tender. The tzaziki is creamy, and not smothering. This was a hearty serving and they don't skimp on the meat. I'm very happy with my meal. The Greek salad was plentiful, crisp and delicious. Although the dressing was completely authentic, it was very good. Yelp rarely let's me down, but this time, you all REALLY let me down. First red flag: they serve pizza, burgers, Philly cheese steaks and so-called "gyros". Besides perhaps BJ's, I've never seen one of these type of places do anything they serve REALLY well. It's always mediocre at best because they're all over the map and haven't mastered anything they serve. Anyways... Ordered chicken gyro, minus tzatziki sauce, add hummus. First, they loaded up the hummus in a ridiculous fashion.. I mean there was probably more hummus than chicken. That's cool though, I LOVE hummus. Or, should I say, GOOD hummus. This stuff tasted like what I'd expect Dollar Tree hummus to taste like: nothing. No discernable flavor whatsoever. Then, the chicken is definitely not marinated or even seasoned like it's of Greek origin. Fairly certain it's just salt and peppered. I would bet a large sum they use the same chicken for pizza.. or burgers.. or on their salads. Worst of all, it tastes like it was reheated on a dirty, greasy grill. Disgusting. It even SMELLS like dirty flat top. As I write this the odor is seriously putting me on the verge of gagging. The fries were the saving grace, otherwise I was leaving hungry and demanding a refund. (And I probably should have done just that) This is, hands down, the worst gyro I've ever had. I am so baffled how this place has such high ratings. Did we all even eat at the same place?!?!? Definitely never returning and STRONGLY recommend everyone avoid. read more

Horrible customer service, rude! Ordered a Falafel, asked for it to be prepared without onions, cashier rudely said it doesn't come with onions, I relooked at the menu to make sure I wasn't crazy, it says chopped onions. I calmly asked to please make sure it doesn't have onions because your menu states its prepared with onions, the cashier snapped at me stated I work here I know what it comes with. I couldn't believe what she said and she continued on. If the owner wants to contact me I would be more than happy to explain who this person is and I would not want them employed in my business. Stopped by while I was in the area last week. We got a pastrami sandwich and a Philly cheesesteak. Fries were good, sandwiches weren't bad. Nothing bad, but nothing out of the ordinary. Prices were ok. Roughly $7 per sandwich. We spent about $18 for 2 people (1 drink), and the sandwiches included a side of fries. We'll probably stop by another time and try something else. Seems like this place has some rave reviews so maybe we'll check out some other items like the gyros or pizza. read more

Came here on a fluke before we went to a concert that was at the casino and since I love greek food this was the closest restaurant. Upon walking in it sort of reminds me of Philly Cheesesteak! I mean they actually sell Philly cheesesteaks and Gyro's so you can get the best of both worlds. You actually order when you walk in and just walk right up to the counter to order and then pay. After you pay they start making your order and will walk it out to you table. The gyro was okay as the chicken was just a little tasteless. Also, I knocked off a star because he charges us twice on my credit card and my fiancé had to let him know to get a refund. This is a small, clean, bright place with gyros, pizzas & burgers. The counter gal was not in the best mood - I'm surprised I didn't walk away but I was hungry. Also surprised they didn't have greek fries, but I had their garlic fries. Food came out quick & hot. It wasn't bad really. Lots of garlic on the fries. The gyro had this kind of sausage like meat - supposed to be lamb & beef. I didn't really care for the texture of it - but it had decent flavor. It came with a salad that was good size, but there were large pieces of feta - and not the best feta I've had. The salad dressing was heavy and not fresh. My pal had the philly which she liked but it wasn't wonderful. We had the tatziki with the fries,again not the best but ok. We've driven by this place a ton and finally went in for a quick lunch because we were craving gyros. We ordered the traditional Philly Steak and a combo lamb/beef mix gyro. The service was quick and delicious. The Philly had onions and peppers that were cooked perfect. They gyro had a traditional tsziki sauce that was cucumbery and the meat was flavorful and tender. They both came with fries that were golden brown and satisfyingly salty. Our bill was well under $20. A definate recommendation. Good value and delicious. Well be back for sure! read more

Very small greek place, tasty gyros, good dressing on the salad but the salad could of skipped on the ends of the lettuce. Two gentlemen working where very nice and fast at it. My favorite place to have lunch. The BEST Chicken BLT in the city. The gyros are amazing. The only thing i wont order is the burgers. I go here almost every weekend. The food is incredible. I think standards are held high because its in rocklin but i enjoy every bite of what i get here! I have days where i wont eat and ill wait for them to open just to eat here. Its about a 30-45 min drive based on traffic. Theres plenty of parking, its usually mildly busy, the staff is nice and courteous. This is a true grass roots family business. It was good just wished there was more cheese. The bread was so good! Tasted fresh! My co worker ordered the gyro steak with garlic fries and said it was good as well. So i used to go to milos on foothills two to three times a week. I drove out of my way to the rocklin location because the other closed. Well i was in a bit of a hurry took a couple bites of my traditional philly and realized there was No cheese. Whats a philly without cheese. I took it back and he took my hole meal back and brought back the original box with two cold slices of cheese. Its NOT the same as when it melts into the delicious bread and binds together the onion and peppers and steak picking up those flavors as it melts. Now i just had cold steak, cold hard cheese, cold onion and pepper all in pieces falling all over. Sooo disappointing because it can be so good. Make a new sandwich please when you leave out a main ingredient that makes the sandwich. read more
