I've been here a few times, and I'm always happy with my order and the service. I love their warm sandwiches, the Hook and Ladder is my go to order. I love when they do their Name of the day free sandwich deal. The bread here is delicious and love everything about them. I've been when they are super busy during the lunch rush and they move rather quickly get those orders out. I've also ordered online and through the app for pick up and I've always been satisfied.

Bc we are T-Mobile users we love taking advantage of their perks from time to time. If it wasn't for that app I would have had no idea of this franchise. Seriously! It took some persuasion to get my wife on the bandwagon just bc she normally isn't a sandwich person like me but when she bit into her half of that juicy yet full medium hook & ladder sandwich she was full speed ahead! I don't do T-Mobile perks that require a signup. Yet this one did not need that which made it even more desirable. We just so happened to be in this Roseville area so why not pay them a visit? This particular franchise sub shop was full of empty tables. Most ordered their food to go which made a lot of sense bc of the omicron virus raging on. Wifey noticed the cute Dalmatian patterned table tops. We picked up our order of medium hook & ladder subs with chips or chili. That sub & chili were TDF! Try them as you will be pleasantly surprised! I know my wife was! This location was bigger than the one in Sactown. Be sure they include everything you order IN the restaurant bc they didn't include the chili my wife also ordered. Just a minor detail when you order to go! We have been burned so many times in various circumstances! Just life in reality! In addition my wife requested a spoon but decided to wait until we got home bc after opening the lid red chili spilled out into the extra bowl! It's a good thing she waited as she always makes a mess wherever she goes! Like who's the little kid in this family? Oh the "mom"??? Lol So glad we experienced Firehouse Subs! You won't regret it! And try their pickles! I liked their pickle buckets specifically for them! Yasss!!!! Just right for my fishing hobby!!!

    Turkey with mayo!

While I love firehouse, it's pricey for a sandwich so we don't go there often. Picked up a couple this evening and literally everything is wrong. Checked my receipt had mayo on the turkey that literally says NO mayo and lettuce on the Italian that says NO lettuce. The lettuce we can live with...but when someone hates mayo as my kid does, we cannot. Unfortunate way to spend $40 bucks on two sandwiches. I would go back, but have somewhere to be! Just won't be ordering from this one anymore.

We've ordered two of the Hook & Ladder add bacon sandwiches two days in a row. We ordered through Uber Eats and both times, our food was Awesome. All of the special instructions were followed. Our sandwiches were fresh and delicious. I Really Appreciate you all securing our bags being we ordered via a third party. Yesterday was our first time and we will Definitely continue. Thank you

It's been a while since I had Firehouse Subs, but this trip made my realize I need to start eating here more often! The sandwich did take a longer time than I expected to get ready, so do be prepared for that (don't order from here if you're in a rush!). I ordered a "firehouse pairs" meaning half a sandwich and a side of your choice. hook & ladder: 5/5, such a simple yet tasty sandwich! The combination of honey ham with smoked turkey added such a nice contrast of flavors. It was smoky yet sweet at the same time. The monterey jack cheese added a subtle flavor, and all of the vegetables were fresh and crispy. I also added cucumbers to my sandwich (no extra $). Overall, a really nice & simple yet tasty sandwich. 5 cheese mac and cheese: 4/5, the mac and cheese...AMAZING. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the cheese sauce tasted homemade and flavorful. It was the perfect amount of cheese. While I did like the addition of the mini croutons on top, I found them to be soggy. If the croutons were perfectly crispy, then this would be one of the best mac and cheeses I have had. Overall, this place will be a regular for me! The employees were friendly, and the food is yummy!

I've never seen food move through me with such speed and determination. Let's just say the bowl made a return appearance faster than I expected, and it wasn't pretty. To be fair, there are currently public health warnings about certain produce, including vegetables, berries, and cilantro, so I can't say with certainty what caused it. If any of those ingredients were involved, that could be the culprit. Either way, this restaurant should take a hard look at its ingredients, suppliers, and food safety practices to make sure everything they're serving is fresh and safe. The bowl tasted fine going down, but the aftermath was unbearable. I hope this was an isolated incident, but no customer should be spending the next hour making emergency trips to the bathroom after a meal. I sincerely hope the restaurant investigates and ensures their ingredients are safe, because this experience was one I'd rather never repeat.

The Pastrami Shop was roughly 7 miles from home, so it was worth the short drive. The place is right off Sunset and Whitney Blvd in Rocklin. It's a very small place so ordering to go is popular. But if you find a seat, definitely enjoy the local vibe of the regulars and talk with the owners for a bit. They really are passionate about their business, and serving their customers. I really enjoyed my half hot pastrami classic sandwich. The bread was toasted, mustard, provolone, and a side of pickles and jalapeños. Boy was it good! I really should have had the full size. Give er a shot if you're in the neighborhood. You won't regret it. I'll definitely stop by again. Loved it.

Perhaps 'basic' might be most appropriate…read more Let's first say that when I walked inside I nearly immediately turned around to walk out. The general look and atmosphere is off-putting. It seems devoid of product, somewhat disheveled and disorganized and lacking any substantive character. The place appears very 'long in the tooth', and no food products were evident anywhere. Added to it, no customers, yet some came later. Yet, I was hungry and stayed. To be honest, glad I did. They sell essentially one thing-PASTRAMI, and that's it. Well, indeed true to the restaurant name. Again, everything is basic! I opted for a Classic Pastrami Sandwich and was given the option for bread, I chose a soft roll, and provolone for cheese, plus mustard. At $22. for a sandwich, well, I had some hesitation. The place is apparently owned and run by a charming older couple who really are out to please, very friendly and congenial. I felt like I fell into an old Russian Jewish deli on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, no frills. Basic, but good food! OK, the Pastrami and the entire sandwich were AMAZING! The quality of the meat was top notch and quite good, probably some of the best around. The sandwich was HUGE and enough for two meals. I was offered peppers on the side and it was perfect for me to add some. The sandwich was nicely warmed/toasted, the cheese melted perfectly and it wasn't a difficult messy thing to eat as are many more upscale sandwiches and burgers these days. So, in the end it was worth it. The sandwich was indeed a surprise and excellent. Plus, they checked after I bit into it to be certain I was satisfied, with a smile. I got some chips and a drink and ate it there. Plenty of napkins were provided. Located in a rather funky 1960s shopping mall it's small, not that easy to find yet parking seems OK. Albeit it somewhat pricey the food is very good and the value is there. If you want Pastrami then this is the place. They sell bulk packages of it too. Try it. You might be as surprised by it.

My initial visit I ordered from their "vintage" menu. I got Erik's B.L.A.S.T. with bacon, Arcadian lettuce, avocado, clover sprouts, Secret Goo and tomato on toasted sourdough. They accidentally forgot the clover sprouts on my order. I love sprouts, so I was a bit disappointed when I realized they were missing. However the sandwich was great so it didn't ruin the meal. I loved their special tuna sandwich, called the Ocean Avenue, which was a delicious concoction. Made with tuna salad, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, clover sprouts, and sweet hot mustard on swirl rye bread. The ingredients were all fresh & tasty. Another winner I just consumed was the Ciao Down, made with the softest Dutch Crunch I've ever eaten. I appreciated having the roof of my mouth intact! The combination of ingredients (salami, turkey, Swiss, tomato, onions, clover sprouts, basil pesto) gave me salty, vinegary, sour, and savory, with just a mild spicy kick from the hot cherry peppers. Whatever you do, don't skip the carrot cake! It is the best carrot cake I've ever had. I actually wondered if they outsourced it, but it turns out it's a proprietary family recipe. Disappointing Experience Due to Food Safety Concern…read more I visited this restaurant on Wednesday for lunch. This was actually my second time dining here. My first visit was pleasant, which is why I decided to come back. This time, I ordered what I believe was the tri-tip steak wrap. As I was finishing the first half of my wrap, I noticed a dead fly in my food. Needless to say, I was shocked and immediately lost my appetite. I walked to the front and asked to speak with a manager. The cashier who helped me was very friendly and professional. I explained the situation to her, and she relayed it to the manager. While I do appreciate that they refunded my meal, what disappointed me most was the manager's response. He never came over to speak with me, apologize, or acknowledge the situation directly. From where I was standing, he appeared visibly disturbed when informed, but he simply instructed the cashier to issue a refund and never addressed me as the customer. I understand that mistakes happen and that it was a busy lunch rush. However, finding a fly in a meal is a serious food safety issue, and I believe a manager or owner should take a moment to personally speak with the customer, show concern, and offer an apology. A little empathy would have gone a long way. The refund was appreciated, but the lack of acknowledgment and customer care left a much stronger impression than the refund itself. Unfortunately, after this experience, I'm hesitant to return.
