Ok, so you have to love cream cheese (which I do) because that's what makes this behemoth of a sandwich so good. It's turkey, avocado, and bacon with the usual lettuce, tomato, onion, greek peppers, and mayo and mustard. Everything I've had there over the years at BHD has always been consistently delicious and stacked. I tried the hot pastrami for the first time, as it comes, and it was yummy. It has avocado, cheese, and mayo. For a pastrami sandwich purist, it might not sound good, but it was so flavorful, and even my husband loved it, and he's one of the pastrami purist and not a fan of mayo. That says a lot. We also tried the hot roast beef with cheddar cheese that came with an au jus for dipping. So dang good! I love the beach and Hawaii theme, of course. Worst beach hut, deli franchise I've ever been to, I believe it's the owner's wife or maybe the owner and his wife I have ordered sandwiches from there four times and all four times they have been incorrect, the girls behind the counter pay absolutely no attention, the ambience is dirty. There's bread on top of a garbage can that they offered to customers for Dale old bread. I specifically leaned over the counter and told them that I've had bad experiences here. I honestly think the beach hut deli is underrated! I love Togo's too, but sometimes I want a vegetarian sandwich and you cannot beat the one here. The one in Roseville happens to be directly across the street from where my son works so we like to meet up here for lunch now and then. I always order the vegetarian with no onions, which has sprouts tomatoes pickles, avocado and peppers. It just hits the spot even though I am not a vegetarian sometimes I just want something really green and healthy. I love the rolls here. They are super soft and they have a 6 inch. Won't be going to this location anymore. Way too many mistakes. The last two times were the worst. Took my elderly mother there and had to wait 30 minutes and we were first in line. Then, to make things worse by the time we got home we realized they didn't even put any meat in her sandwich! My bestie and I order beach hut thru door dash. My fave sandwich is beach bikini (it has sprouts which is a bug selling point for me). It is now listed with spinach with no option to add sprouts! We ordered here several days ago with some of our tribe needing some specific items left off of the sandwiches due to dietary restrictions and allergies. The sandwich game is strong here. Being a chain, it doesn't really need a review, but of all of the sandwich chains out there I'd say this is probably one of the best ones. You pay for it though, which is why I'm dropping a star. Yes it is more expensive than you would probably like to pay, but we're not talking shitty what used to be $5 footlongs from Subway. They typically pack on the fillings and it actually looks good and isn't put together like a pile of trash. They have a diverse beer selection to pair with your sandwich which is also a plus. They are always typically pretty friendly which is also nice compared to the people that act like they want to die at competition's place. If it weren't for the prices, I'd probably come here at least once a week, but honestly, you get what you pay for. On this visit though, I decided to try something new and went for the Mesa Salad which is: Your choice of hot or cold grilled chicken, Frank's® Hot Buffalo Wing sauce, Monterey jack, tomatoes, onions, and peppers. Topped with blue cheese crumbles, crumbled bacon, and sliced avocado. I opted for cold chicken because I don't like meat reheated. ewww. But this location agrees with other patrons reviews where they skimp on portion size. After eating the "Woody", I felt jipped. Man I hate that I have to give less than a five star review, but they just aren't quite what they used to be. Ive been going to beach hut for over 15 years since the beginning and they've always produced a top shelf Sandwhich, never skimping on the perfectly cooked bacon or perfectly ripe avocados. BUT I've been to several of the beach hut locations (Roseville, granite bay, auburn etc.) within the past few months and the only thing that I've received is an inconsistent product, way below the quality they've become so we'll know for delivering. Now , It's just a gamble. And an expensive one at that! Not only has the quality declined (so so sad!) but the customer service has as well. I never used to mind paying $15 for a sandwich because the quality was unmatched, top tier.
