Excellent, professional service with honesty (in short supply these days). Second opinion consult. Instead of the $21K for a new unit the big fancy corporate company with flashy vans and pressure that woukd make the slimiest of used car salesmen blush, Mills got us up and going with a $120 capacitor. Support small, local businesses like Mills. Don't buy the pejorative "one van" crap the big boys sling at smaller companies. read more

Outstanding service and value. I have used Mills and Conditioning and Heating for repairs twice in 10 years and I will always call them when my system is not working. They know how to fix the unit - real repairs vs replacement. Trust & confidence in their work. I am happy customer Janet M. read more

I was scared my air conditioner was going out and Mills Air Conditioning let me know otherwise...I was so relieved! Victor explained what was going on (my bad, I was turning the air conditioner down too low which caused ice to form) and suggested turning off the air conditioner to allow the ice to thaw. I placed trays below the system to catch the thawing ice water and everything is now working great The price I paid for the house visit was more than reasonable. Biggest take away, don't set the thermostat below 74°. Thank you Mills Air Conditioning! read more

Mario and Dillion were fantastic...very professional and polite. They arrived within the scheduled time frame. They explained everything clearly and understandably. They're both assets to your company read more

Mills fixed my ac, works better than ever reasonably priced for top quality work. Technicians were knowledgeable and professional.Thank you Chrissann for everything! read more

This company was very professional with my first experience with them. Receptionist was very nice and helpful and had great communication with me. Victor was a very helpful technician and was great at trying to deduce what was wrong with our ac. He went through each step properly and explained all of it in front of me and was very transparent. He did not appear to push any unnecessary things at all, he was genuine. read more

Mills Air Conditioning came and did an inspection of my Air Conditioning unit prior to the purchase of my new home and determined in their report there where no issues with the unit. A few weeks into moving into to our home the Air Conditioning unit started making unusual noises and quit working. When I called to ask Mills why at their inspection they didn't see this coming? They had no answer and they didn't know. They offered to come and check the unit "again", but at a cost of $99 for the service call. You would think that a reputable company that mist a problem with there inspection would AT LEAST stand by there work and check the problem free of charge... but no. I'm very disappointed in the service that Mills provided and didn't provide and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. read more

Excellent customer service! Our AC unit went out one afternoon in the middle of a major heatwave. Mills Air Conditioning was sent out by our property management company. They arrived the very next morning, right on time. Clark was very friendly and knowledgeable and had our AC unit back up and running within minutes. He even trimmed some overgrown weeds around the outside unit to avoid any future interference. 100% satisfied and definitely would recommend to family and friends! read more

The three gentlemen were very respectful and arrived early. Communication was great! They only had a half an hour to repair the system until their next appointment, but they got it done. I wish I can remember their names but great job Mills Air Conditioning Team! read more

Responded to call quickly. Thoroughly examined air conditioning system and manages to make some repairs so that the system was working again. Previous attempts by other companies to diagnose the problem led to recommendations for very expensive replacement of the whole system. Mills bought us another year. We'll have them back to replace the system next year. What a relief! Knowledgeable and very trustworthy too. read more

We had a great experience with Mills AC, as recommended by our contractor. Firstly, the office manager/secretary was friendly and helpful in getting someone sent to our house. Victor, who worked on our AC was very nice and agreeable regarding our request that he wear a mask when walking through our house. He did excellent work and did it quickly. Thank you, Victor! read more

I have been using Victor for AC repair since 2018... when the time came to replace my AC unit I called them first. And this was no ordinary AC replacement, they pulled the old unit off my roof, installed new unit on the ground complete with furnace in attic and all new R8 ducting. I have never been happier with my AC than I am now. Thanks Victor for your attention to detail and stellar work! I highly recommend Victor and his crew to everyone, they do the job right! read more

Mills installed a brand new system in my home about two years ago. They were professional and friendly, the owner, Clark, was personally there to oversee the work, and the system they put in was wonderful. We were so happy to have found a great company to provide A/C service. Two years later, our unit began blowing hot air instead of cold. Although we have explained the problems we are experiencing multiple times to both Clark and Victor, we were given a shrug and an "I don't know" by both of them. Clark decided to replace both the condenser and the motor, even though he said they were both actually functioning well. He explained that they just seemed like they may have a problem later. That was fine because he said everything was under warranty so we didn't have to worry about the cost. But then I received a bill in the mail for $200 in labor. So now I'm paying to have things replaced that don't even need replaced? Had I known it would be $200, I would have kept the perfectly good parts we had. I figured it was a mistake, so I called the office. The woman I spoke to was friendly and said she would speak to Clark and get right back to me. I heard nothing back for an entire month, then received a copy of the original bill in the mail. So now it seems that Mills can just decide I need labor to replace parts that are perfectly good, then charge me for that labor. Sounds like a good racket for them. Also, my A/C is still blowing hot air. They never seemed to listen to the symptoms of my problem, they never checked the unit in the attic, the lines coming from my A/C unit, or anything other than the motor they wanted to charge me to replace. I'm very frustrated because not only do I feel like I was sold a bill of goods I didn't need, I also have to find a new A/C company that can actually fix my issue and not just charge me for labor I didn't even need. It's sad to see a great company like Mills go downhill like this. read more

I can't say enough about this company. I thought I was going to have to get a new unit and Victor came in and fixed the problem within two hours! I had been waiting on another company through my American Home Shield since August 7th and they just have be the run around. We racked up over $600 in hotel stays because my daughter couldn't take the heat. I wish the other company had been honest with me and let me know they were going to write a report that would get my claim denied (and that's after two techs came out - the first one said it was working fine but it died the next day and the second tech who was a senior tech made me think he was going to repair it). It would have saved me some money in hotel stays. It never felt so good to wake up in our own bed and to just be home. They were very reasonably priced too! read more

If they had fixed the problem, I wouldn't mind how rude they were. I first had tried to fix the problem myself...failed. Mills AC sent two techs on separate trips, both of whom thought that it was okay to lecture about me to my wife. Okay, I didn't fix it, now I'm paying you to... so just do it. I'm not interested in your opinion, just a working air conditioning. Except they didn't fix it after two trips from the "professionals"...although it still cost me over $300. Trip 1: 9/17/2019 Guy #1 $208 Changed Transformer, left me wire to replace existing thermostat wire, thanks for that. Rude lecture to my wife about my first attempt to wire. Trip 2: 9/24/2019 Guy #2 NO COST, but no fix either. Another rude lecture to my wife. Complained about a system that was disassembled, but didn't reassemble it.... Would have bee happier to pay for a real repair Trip 3: 9/25/2019 Guy #1 again $99 Fixed backward running fan....but why didn't Guy #2 see that... and more lecture.. Trip #4: 9/26/2019 Cancelled because they wanted another $400. The receptionist is awesome though, very sweet. read more

Great honest people! Came and gave a true opinion on work that was needed. Will be using again and referring to family and friends.

We have used Mills twice, and both times they were responsive and a great value. They do not try to over-sell you and are very good at explaining the issue. We will use them in the future. read more

Used them for years. Trustworthy and reliable. Glad they are still around to service my A/C

Today was the second time in four or so years using Mills. They came out once when we bought our home and again today when the older unit had enough. Clark was amazing and punctual. Has never tried to up sell us and has always been straight forward and honest about what we need vs what he could sell us. I am eight and a half months pregnant and had been without ac in the 99+ degree weather for 3 days before calling. Fifteen to twenty minutes into him poking around the ac unit and we are sitting in a cool home again! I would HIGHLY recommend them. read more

My husband was very impressed with this company. On time, great install of thermostat, fixed our AC unit, some great advice, all at reasonable cost. Will definitely use them again. read more

My mother called them to replace her thermostat. She requested a specific thermostat exactly last me another she had downstairs. Victor purchased the exact thermostat she requested and expertly installed it. Cost on line was $70. They marked it up to $190. I asked victor if we could have purchased it and had him install it and he said no because Mills couldn't guarantee the product. I would not recommend this company. They are professional and experienced but overcharge for the product to cover their expenses. read more

During cooling weather, I set my thermostat to heat the house. There was no heat. The heating system was dead. I called Mills Heating who has serviced my heating and air conditioning units for years. Victor arrived to check out my heating system. At this point, I would have accepted any recommendation, however costly, to fix the problem. After spending some time checking out the furnace, Victor figured out what the problem was --- I had incorrectly set a control lever on the thermostat. Aside from this, there WAS NO MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL PROBLEM! Victor could have taken advantage of me and, for example, and sold me an unnecessary and expensive thermostat to replace my creaky, decades-old unit. He did not do this but gave me an HONEST evaluation. --- the fault was, as I mentioned, all mine. Victor was reluctant even to charge me for a service call. So here is evidence of a local, honest business...Mills Heating & Air Conditioning. read more

Clark came out to service my AC system. He was early, attentive and most of all honest. He did not try to sell me on something I did not need and answered any questions I had. I would definitely use them again. read more

We came home from our river trip looking forward to our cool house but no the AC was out! Called Mill. They came out the same day and replaced a 12 dollar part and cleaned out years of dirt accumulated in the condenser. Our unit is 15 years old and would have believed it needed replacing if we were told we needed to. Thanks Victor for your honesty and moving all my husbands work stuff out of your way. read more

Called for a standard a/c service. I received excellent customer service. Clark was actually early for the service and was very knowledgeable and professional. It's very refreshing to deal with a company that is awesome on everyone level. Thanks Mills read more

This is the second time we've had Mills come out for air-conditioning service. The first time was to install an additional return and extra office vent. The second time was to service an intermittent air conditioner. They do very conscientious and thorough work. Our technician (I think it was the owner) was also very good at explaining things and didn't mind all my questions. Prices are reasonable. read more

We called Mills as our landlord and friend Peter had them install our air and heat unit in 2015. They took came out and took a look and said it would be 1700 dollars and it was under warranty. Then they talked Peter into a new unit same BS ten year warranty. They came out to install it three days later (5 days without air) They tried to install it and saud the wiring was not viable ...( might have checked that before putting the new unit up . They then said we had to have an electrician. He sent some guy ( not an electrician ) to trouble shoot and he said we would need an electrician... we are now a week without air and apparently at the mercy of an electrician whenever he can make it. So that is the one star rating. Not knowledgeable about power if com pressure burned up why not the power to it ? These guys worked hard to get it to the roof so the one star... I think that Mills AC maybe just a bit on the slow side if you get my meaning and I feel sorry for our landlord even messing with them because they are a mess... read more

Had issues with my AC not being able to blow cool air, decided to give these guys a try through a reference. I was glad I did, Clark stopped by and was very professional about the whole process, in the end, he was able to deduce that the thermostat was defective, which was causing the cooling side to short out. Since my thermostat was a Smart product I had to go return it to BestBuy and install it again. Upon doing so the power fuse had blown, Clark came right back out to ensure everything was 100% for us! Couldn't be happier with the professionalism and service from Mills, will definitely recommend to anyone with AC/HVAC needs. read more

A/C quit on a Friday evening (of course!) and Mills was one of the few companies who bothered to return our call. Victor and Charles came out late Monday afternoon, diagnosed the problem quickly and we were cool again by 5 pm. So nice to deal with a company who was pleasant on the phone, came as soon as possible, and were honest and efficient. We will definitely call them with any future issues. read more

In the midst of a heat wave, Victor from Mills spent the better part of an hour putting together my air conditioner following the installation of a new roof, thus ensuring I had air conditioning tonight and for the weekend. Victor was highly professional. He answered all of my questions. His work was exemplary. I highly recommend Mills. Update: As it happened, my AC turned troublesome. Victor was back twice, and now it's running excellently. All of this follow-up work at no charge to me. Mills stands completely behind its work. I wish I could give Mills ten stars! read more

We have had the pleasure of having Clark (owner) service our AC unit this summer. Thanks to Clark and his staff for providing our community with excellent service and keeping us cool! read more

Mills AC and heating is a great, HONEST, family owned and operated business. He installed the equipment when we built our house in 94 and the systems are still running great! They have done the work on ALL my rental properties and my new home, including a simple modification to the previously installed AC system that made the air flow much more even. Great company! read more
