The restaurant

The food was amazing!! I loved the look of it all and much more. The service was great and she was very kind and great! The place was great and vintage! It was a little vintage cafe turned from a train station! Over all it was just great I loved it all!!

Super quaint with great food!! I was looking anywhere and everywhere for pancakes and I'm happy that we stumbled upon this spot since another place had over an hour wait. The syrup is prepackaged BUT you don't miss the real stuff once you try the pancakes. The hash browns are made well and are so flavorful, you'd think they were home made. The butter is also served room temperature so it's super spreadable and easy to handle. And lastly the bacon is generous when you include it with your food. Basically it tastes like breakfast at grandma's. The decor was so cute and it's such a great little breakfast nook with very good service. Not too far from Morristown when you're looking for some casual jersey dining. I will definitely be back!

Small cafe located at the Millington train station. Food here is always great. Typical diner options but much better than any other breakfast food nearby. Eggs are always perfectly cooked- although would note that they don't serve poached eggs for some reason... Pancakes are delicious and so fluffy! Coffee is great too. Would love to give this place 5 stars but I hate that they serve everything on styrofoam plates! I get that a lot of people might take their food to-go but even paper or cardboard would be much more eco-friendly than styrofoam. Other than that food is a must if you're in the area and looking for a quick breakfast.

Food was good. Service was good. It's small and only does breakfast and lunch but it was just enough for what we were looking for.

Cosy space with good food. Pancakes could be a bit softer. Besides that, highly recommend.

We have eaten our lunch outdoors at this pleasant restaurant. I usually have a "breakfast" meal. The eggs and bacon are always good.

For the dishes here, you build your own, but it's pretty simple. You pick your protein (beef, chicken, lamb, roast pork, fish, shrimp) then decide if you want it on a bun, over rice, on a salad, or on a platter, and add any of a whole bunch of toppings like onions, pickles, beans, fried egg, pico, bacon, mushrooms, jalapeños and others. Or you can build tacos! The angus burger is vey good. The fries are pretty standard, but the onion rings are thick, crispy and flavorful. I always have too many. The slow roasted pork is very good, and I always get it over the white rice, which is tossed with olive oil and cilantro. The rice is very aromatic,I think it's basmati.I also like the salmon, but sometimes it can be a little dry. This is probably due to getting it to go and it steams more in the packaging. We also really like the tacos, having tried the shrimp version, AND the fish tacos, AND the chicken, AND the pork. My mother would get the shrimp tacos over and over again, my favorite is probably the pork. You can have it with tons of toppings, which we usually do. I also had the Cuban sandwich and had no complaints. Lots of choices and ways to customize, mix and match, and keep it new each time. Probably something for everyone in a family with different tastes.

It is a very nice restaurant; Large, but not overbearing. I could see going here either on date night, or with 2 more couples. Our server Patrick was fantastic from the beginning of the night, straight through to the end. He was friendly, and very efficient. Chef/owner Scott came out from the kitchen to greet us and other patrons, and was gracious to everyone. Onto the food. The Duck Tacos and Mussels were very tasty. I think I might put a call into Chef and have him make me a bottle of that Mussels sauce to take home with me. Then came the crisp Caesar Salad, which kept everything bright. To finish, we had the Black Cod and Duck Confit, both of which were very well balanced and cooked perfectly. Oh, and the Guava-glazed Brussels Sprouts were a perfect side. Next time, I want to try one or two of their desserts. All-in-all, we had a great experience, and the night was a success. Chef, see you soon. I might just bring a large mason jar for some sauce!..

The owner, Carolina, was warm and charming as was the waitress, Amira, who provided great service. We started with Argentine beef empanadas as a starter. For lunch I ordered the beef milanesa platter with French fries, while my wife had the chicken milanesa sandwich. Both dishes were generous in portion and full of flavor, just the kind of hearty, home-style fare I love from Argentine cafés. We also picked up a sandwich de miga to take home--a crustless ham and cheese sandwich that was simple, delicate, and satisfying. I'd rate both the meal and the sandwich an easy 8 out of 10. The café itself has a welcoming, local feel, and visiting on a weekday kept things peaceful. I learned they offer fresh Argentine pastries on weekends, which sounds like a perfect reason for a return visit soon. Patria Station Café is a great spot for authentic flavors, big portions, and a pleasant, laid-back experience.
