Our realtor set us up for a window cleaning with this company. David, the owner, showed up 3.5 hours late. He had us take all of the screens off of the windows before he came. When he got here, he said that it would be the same price to clean the inside as well so we agreed. He was here for 1.5 hours by himself and charged $400! The windows had streaks, the sills were not cleaned and he didn't replace the screens or even rinse them! As you can imagine, we were disappointed with the work and the cost. I contemplated it for two days and then I gave him a call. I told him I had never called to complain about a service before but that I felt the need to tell him so he had an opportunity to make things right and maintain his referral source, the realtor. I was hoping that he would be receptive to what I had to say but unfortunately he was combative and defensive. All he needed to do was offer to come back to fix the streaks and replace the screens. I have a rental business with a house and apartments in Dana Point and Laguna Beach. I've used Miller Window Cleaning three times, possibly four times. I like them because he's straight forward. He shows up cleans the windows. No complaints, no excuses, Millers just Digs in and gets it done. They just finished a house in Laguna Beach. The windows are original, and now the cleanest they have ever been! Lol, they were done in less than an hour so I double checked their work. I thought ," no way, they must have missed some". This guy went off on me when I pointed out some windows where he left water spots. He scared me by how crazy he acted and yelled at me. I was alone in my house. I was his last appointment of the day. Horrible service. Lesson learned don't be last appointment of the day. He did such a sloppy job and didn't really clean the screen but just watered then down. No scrubbing. Bait and switch. I bought a 20 window service through Amazon Local and when I went to make an appointment, I was told that was for 20 panes, not 20 windows. I went back to the original advertisement on Amazon Local and it specifically said "window" and not "pane". The additional 18 panes would cost me more than three times the price of the original 20 panes. Bought an amazon local deal - 20 PANES for I think it was $60. Sneaky and confusing for most customers. When I called the number on the voucher, I was referred to an email as were all "Amazon Local People" per the recording. He then says the email so fast I had to call back 3 times to get it. I emailed him, didn't hear back for days. I then emailed Amazon Local and told them about my experience and they promptly refunded my money. Ironically, he consistently uses the word "pains" to refer to glass...the correct word is PANES...although his version IS a good description of dealing with this company. read more

Dave Miller has been cleaning my windows in Laguna Beach since the late 90s, we are on a monthly schedule and if it were not for Dave I don't know what I would do. He was the only window cleaning company that answered my initial call and since the first time he cleaned the windows I saw no reason to keep shopping for a window cleaner. His prices are reasonable, he does a great job, he is timely and honest. With a statement "We just cleaned your neighbors windows, so we thought we would send you a quick bid for yours" THIS COMPANY HAS NEVER CLEANED MY WINDOWS!. This company either used to be owned by someone else more than 10 years ago, or the owner no longer cares what type of work is done. I gave them a 2nd chance thinking they couldn't do a worse job, and they surprised me -- it was way worse. Missed windows, mirrors and the 'helper' he had with him did terrible work. Carpets are not new and not spotless, but now they are ruined after his visit. Regardless, no service provider has the ability to decide which houses to trash and which hones to respect.. Please people, don't fall for this swindler - bait and switch, unclean. Dave quoted me a price on the phone after I explained to him the service that we required, which was very helpful. He arrived in time and did a very good job soft washing our entire exterior of the house and cleaning our windows with soft water that was filtered through a the water softening equipment located in his van. I hired David after he left a flyer on my door. I had a window washer that I've used for eight years but when I moved it was more difficult for him to get up to me, so I thought why not give this guy a chance. David was nice enough, he did call 30 minutes before our 9am appointment but didn't show up until 9:30am. I used his special $120 for 20 windows apparently like all the other reviews it not "Windows" it's "window panes". I also asked that he remove the old tint from two of the windows which is where it started downhill. He charged me $20 per "window pane". So now it was an extra $60, fine I just wanted it removed. I asked him about removing tint from a bigger window that had the small squares; he said it would be $10 a square! WHAT! That's was almost $400 I could get a new window for that. Obviously I declined such a rip-off. He did do a good job remove the tint but cleaning the windows... no, it was lousy, one window he didn't even clean. He also continually grunted and moaned the whole time, as if our windows were so labor intensive that it was the hardest thing he had ever done in his life. All of this I could have overlooked, I could have written a middle of the road review and been done, but the aftermath of what I found completely appalled me. Razor blades left out in my guest room and the soon to be nursery; I do have two cats and imagine if I had my little one and he was mobile. I can't even begin to tell you what horrible thoughts crossed my mind!!! In addition, there was a huge scratch on my newly paint nursery wall, gross brown water all over my master shower, and icing on the cake a cracked glass tile in the master shower. My shower was just finished we haven't even showered in it no one has been in the shower until now, and a crack tile appears. You should be ashamed of yourself, how dare you put mine and my family's well-being in jeopardy, how dare you come into someones home and damage it. read more
