Great shops. We used to go there twice a week or more but now we just go there when we need to. The parking lot is the worst.

Regardless, my #1 reason for selecting this space was because it is dog friendly. For a small additional fee, yes, your furry friends can attend. Reservations and basic communication are simple and there is no front desk staff like a traditional hotel aiding to the uniqueness of this spot. There is a digital lockbox where your welcome email will include instructions for obtaining your key fob. A designated parking lot across the street allows for easy accessibility in and out and every single store below the lofts (including the coffee shop) is dog friendly which is a major score! The entire building is ADA accessible from the walk up ramp to elevators (which was lovely bc my dog is a tripod and cannot accommodate stairs). To my surprise, a loft on the 3rd floor had 2 bedrooms which allowed each of us to have private areas with our dogs along with the common spaces to share the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The vaulted ceilings allowed for natural light to enter and the entire building recently had a makeover making our stay a complete success. Some tips and fun facts we discovered were hidden dog bowls under the sink including neutral disinfectant for accidents/ basic cleaning along with paper towels, sound machines for white noises located in the closets along with extra blankets, record player on-site with varying record options, and full kitchen with a stove. All amenities include but not limited towards: bar cart with bottle opener, shaker, etc., coffee cups, wine cups, bowls, silverware and cookware. The basement level has a really cool dog wash station which can also be used for bicycles, a smaller gym, a few restrooms and a conference room. Enger lofts is the perfect get-away and is a spot one can enjoy without driving around town as everything is within walking distance. Bonus: Bent Paddle Brewery is directly across the street in walking distance and is dog friendly on the heated patio as well as an on-site food truck. Enjoy!

I placed an order for skirting materials for a mobile home that I purchased upon retirement, I told…read morethe person taking the order over the phone that I had not found a contractor, having real difficulty finding one, to relevel and skirt. but, I had the money now and did not want to blow it as I had a lot of fixing up to do.. He told me they were all stock items and that would not be a problem if and when I did find a contractor. I did this so as whomever I hired to do the work would be able to just go pu w/o having to figure out what I wanted or needed etc. I explicity said that I had no idea when the work would be done, hoping sooner rather than later, then, I got sic, heart problems, then covid, each spring I checked in w/ receipt telling them that I still had not found a contractor yet, I was told each time, no problem, when you are ready, all stock items, as long as Menards is here this will be available for pu, I might have to pay differential in prices, of which I understood, I also, did not file the rebate of 11% and said as much because I appreciated them more or less storing for me.. Well, 3.5 yrs, still no contractors that are now within my range to have work done, I was getting bids in the 20 thousands, just labor to do the work, insane, after covid. So, I asked for the receipt to be put on a card, now, after being told there was no problem with not picking up, after being told that as long as I have my receipt, I am now being told tough luck, how do we know you did not pu this order, (Nothing gets out of that yard w/o signatures and receipts, and then receipts is recorded as pu in sysem) The mgr more or less, (me in wheelchair told me that he has no way to know if I picked this order up and am trying to rip them off.... Says he has no record of order, even though I have called with invoice number, have stopped in every spring to let them know I am still trying to get contractor. At no time did Menards offer to deliver instead of them having in stock, At no time did they say this is what you need and lets put your credit on a card and when your ready bring your contractor/materials receipt w/ your card. etc.. I did what their employee told me to do, I can pu anything as long as I keep my receipt, let us know what is going on and up to date. Understand that if alot of time passes you may have to pay difference in priced items.. Right now, Menard's owes me nearly 850.00 dollars, that is how I feel. I am disabled and on SS, I have a garage, I could of had delivered and tucked away in garage if that would of been offered to me, I did not know they would deliver those items, did not know they had a time limit??? on pu, was told opposite of that... I live less than 2 miles from Hermantown Menards and they could of asked for pictures, or driven by my house to see that I had not received the materials.. There is no way I physically could of pu this order myself and or put away if I had delivered.....That was obvious to the manager. I can somewhat understand the time passed but then that was the deal when I purchased it as to whenever....The person who sold me the items told me that I was the one taking the chance on Menards still being there when I was ready or found a contractor. Which is another thing, at no time did they ever offer to help me find a contractor, until..... they told me my receipt was no longer "valid". Not really happy with them, I purchased alot of stuff thru them to fix up this trailer, I went thru another company for skirting and just finally had the house releveled and skirted, 2019 till now, it took me.. I just had a new gutter system put up and central air installled, happy to say Menard's missed out on all that material sales. Next a new bathroom and shower and walk in tub, Sorry, Menards, Home Depot is 6 miles away and Fleet Farm too and they all carry the same things....

The toy selection is extremely limited and they only offer "push a button and be entertained" style toys. Selling here is also a horrible experience. I bought in 3 large tubs and it took them 20 minutes to "go through" even with others in front of me. The store we regularly go to takes 2+ hours for a single tote of clothes. When I got home and went back through the clothes, there were many things that hadn't moved; it became clear that they did not actually go through what I brought in. (No wonder they have such a horrible selection) Definitely not worth the trip to buy or sell.

After today it will be our last time. We've basically been turned away from the trade-in counter the last few times we've been in due to the volume of trades they had at the time. In my opinion, it's completely asinine to tell a customer they can wait until 7PM (when trying to drop off trade-ins in the morning) if they want to trade. We even asked if our items could be left overnight so I could return to the store on my lunch break the next day. No such option. Thankfully we usually consolidate trips into town, so today wasn't a completely wasted trip, but to drive 30 miles into town without being able to accomplish this simple task, multiple times, is quite frustrating.
