People are being scammed out of thousands of dollars this season with Miller Hill's help, as their products are sold as "medical devices" and returns are not allowed. They are predatory and can be seen hounding people as they go about their shopping. Do better. read more

This is one of the only places to shop in Duluth. I give it 3 stars because it's not a big mall but it's not really the smallest mall that I have ever been to. There are a few small town stores here as well as a few bigger stores too. They actually have a decent food court and a few dine in restaurants. Allot of the retail shops in this location are either revolving or shut down. I actually lost a few tires in the parking lot during my visits and told mall management. The only thing they said about it was that I was the only one to talk to them about this. When I talked to other people in the mall they had told me that they had lost tires in the potholes of the mall parking lot as well. The roof leaks at this mall during the winter and you can see buckets in the middle of the floor. I've seen people slip and fall on puddles in the mall too. read more

After having lunch in the food court. Myself and 2 friends went back to our cars and the security guard told us we couldn't park behind JCPennys because it's a bus area. There are always cars parked in this area because they have no signage saying no parking or bus stop. How are people to know? Apparently the guard gets off being very rude to senior citizens. Went into a collector shop called Game On with a friend. We started looking at some collector cards. They had some in a case we were interested in but for now we would continue to look through the store at other cards. As we were looking through the cards the clerk paid little to no attention that we were there. Another gentleman entered the shop and started talking to the clerk seemed like he might be the owner. The clerk and the gentleman started opening a box of sports cards behind the counter and every time we had a question it seemed like we were disturbing them. After we were done looking we made our selection of cards to purchase having the gentleman not the clerk come over and open the case for us which seemed like a huge inconvenience. We made our purchase and left. It left me feeling vary unwelcome almost like they were relieved that we left. I'm sorry but if your running a shop pay attention to your customers and make them feel welcome. Don't ignore them and just do your own thing behind the counter that is in no way work related. Seemed like the owner just wanted to open a box of cards and didnt want to be bothered. read more

Being from a city that has a big mall, this one is ok in my books. I started in JC Penney and checked out the ladies wear. They had a clearance section of the summer clothes and there were a few cheap buys but nothing that caught my eye. Once in the mall, I connected to the free wifi which is always appreciated. There were clothing stores that I have never been in before so I had a look. The service was lacking in most of them as they were mostly empty and no acknowledgement from the staff. I did like the large Barnes and Noble and spent time there browsing and also went to the help desk looking for a book. The staff was really helpful and even though the computer said the book wasn't in stock, she recalled seeing it and walked me to it. The service in the Coach store was great too and the associate showed me the new bags. The Santa display was nice and he was seated in a large red chair. It's too bad he didn't have many visitors. I made my way to the food court to get dinner and there wasn't too much for selection but I did get some food court Chinese food which was ok. The cab ride back to my hotel was a quick and I appreciated during my short stay I could check out some of the shopping. read more

I've been here a couple of times, and growing up in bum fuck Wyoming (where 1 shopping mall exists, & had to drive 2 hours to the nearest mall in Montana), this mall is OK in my book! FOOD COURT: Taco John's (special treat for me!), Leann Chin (yummy chinese like Panda Express sorta), Sbarro's, Subway, Coney Island, & a few other food places. There's also a Country Buffet & Applebees where you can go inside & sit down. Overall, a decent variety. BATHROOMS: So whoever built the mall must have been on crack. So if you park near Barnes & Noble, and enter the mall that way, there are no bathrooms. You must walk towards the food court which is a nice walk lemme tell ya, and the entrance is near Taco John's. STORES: Basic stores you would find anywhere such as Victoria's Secret, Gymboree, Icing, Bath & Body Works, Hot Topic, Zumiez. Major department stores are JC Penny's, Younkers, & Sears. There's also a little Coach store here as well. I went there today & the people couldn't have been more friendlier. There's also Teavanna, a store specializing in Tea, which I thought was pretty cool. Some stores I'd like to see here: Sephora, H&M, MAC, Kitson, a pet store, Sur La Table. read more

Went to JC Penny's bought a Levi jacket paid cash they asked if I wanted to get a jc Penny's card that I would get an additional 35 percent off I did. But because the jacket was a black Friday deal I didn't get the 35 percent off. Well a few weeks later I got a billing from jc Penny's saying I owed 59.99. Well when I called and told them I didn't charge anything they said I charged my jacket they told me that on Nov 11th was when I charged it. I told them no I didn't I paid cash. I went right to the store told them about it. They asked if I had my receipt I said no It was like three weeks ago who keeps a receipt for a jacket for three weeks. Well they said they had no cash transactions for the price of the jacket. So I just paid 59.99 again left and told them I will never go there again. So I suggest if you're purchasing something there and they ask you if you want to sign up for a JC Penny's card DON'T. read more

This mall has all the stores my eighth-grade daughter and her cousins wanted to go to: Hollister's, American Eagle outfitters, Claire's, Hot Topic. I went for the Black Friday sale at Yonkers and we parked by my favorite store of all times: Barnes & Noble. We managed to not go to Old Navy or Dick's Sporting Goods. We had lunch there too, I had a Taco Bell, my son ate at Subway, and my husband ate at Charlie's grilled subs. We went to T-Mobile, Best Buy mobile, Schmidt music, GameStop, FYE for your entertainment which has some fancy candy and some electronics. Overall, a very pleasant mall. We even easily found parking on Black Friday and we went there twice that day! read more

The only thing keeping this place going is lack of better shopping choices in the area. More stores closing than opening. Has the smell of retail death! The parking lot is in disrepair and you are actually putting your car at risk by driving in the parking lot. Terrible winter parking. Having all the snow piled up at the end of parking rows with no outlet caused major congestion. The only way to get out was to reverse, but then other people would turn in and you'd be stuck. I understand that we get heavy snow and there are only so many places to put it, but the least they could do would be to put a "no outlet" sign in the areas where this was a problem. Inside there is a great variety of stores. They have something to cater to every age group. You could spend the entire day here and have fun....at least if you can find decent parking! read more

Of course the Miller Hill Mall doesn't have too many upscale stores. It's in DULUTH. Apparently, most people don't understand that Duluth is a very poor city. This mall is rather small, but it's the largest one I have ever been to. Here in Duluth, we have a single-level mall. Only JC Penney's and Younkers have a second floor. Growing up in Fort Frances, Canada (across from Int'l. Falls, MN), going to that mall was like a Duluthian's shopping trip to Chicago. As I grew up and travelled more, and visiting for the first time in years, it's clear that this is a rural, must have your own car type of place. It's just not built in a way where I could spend the day there without a car and walk from Target to the Miller Mall and Best Buy, etc...and that is why I don't really go out of my way. I guess I'm more of a downtown guy who likes having all my shopping within walking distance of each other. Looking for a parking space during winter at the mall, and then at Target, then at WalMart, then again at Best Buy, etc - sucks. However, because this mall is the only thing around for 160 miles until you get to Minneapolis, there are quite a few stores here. read more

This is one of my favorite places in Duluth. This is where I bought all school clothes, most Christmas gifts, and saw movies when there was a theater. There is a good mix of stores, old and new amd the mall staff has been trying to promote events a lot more now. JC Penny's, B &N, Dicks, and DSW are my spots here. They have a fountain that kids love to check out and toss coins into. There are also plenty of snack options as well. I love Sbarro pizza and the cookie shop. I used to love to get BK and Cinnabon. This is a great place to spend some spare time. read more

Great shops. We used to go there twice a week or more but now we just go there when we need to. The parking lot is the worst.

There is a lot of stores in the mall, but be careful. The building is in serious need of maintenance and almost collapsed in a few places due to neglect and excessive amounts of snow this past winter. Once late march hits, they stop plowing the parking lot making it treacherous. The parking lot will DESTROY your vehicle, so drive very carefully, I don't know if they will ever fix it. Parking is useless in winter because the lines need to be re-painted, but they don't maintenance anything so you can't see them even if they plow. Also, do not bother calling their customer service, they are untrained morons who can't even transfer a phone call right. My windshield was shattered in their parking lot and they couldn't even return a phone call to tell me whether or not they have security cameras. Park here at your own risk. The management is also very fake, rude and they behave like the world should kiss their feet, but really they just seem super rude. They don't even know what stores are in their mall. At Halloween they posted a photo in hot topic on their facebook page, but claimed it was Spencer's Gifts. That's a rookie mistake. Good job guys. It's not a good place, but it's also the only mall in the Duluth area, so it's not like you really have a choice. read more
