As much as it pains me to do so, I had to one star Millennium Auto Glass. Ovando is a nice guy, but I had an issue with my windshield replacement. As a Professional, he should be able to tell the difference between vinyl and paint. Having to be so close to the vehicle's surface and driving a vehicle that is wrapped, he should know the difference by the look, feel, and obvious signs. When he started on the passenger side top of the windshield, the vinyl lifted as he started removing the molding. He should have done a better initial inspection and determined whether or not there would be any issues. As an Automotive Professional, I would have inspected the areas that I would be working and address any issues. I would then let the customer know what the best course of action would be. None of that was done. If there was a possibility of damage, I would let the customer know ahead of time. I wouldn't wait until after the damage was done. I am glad that I was able to replace my windshield, but had I known ahead of time that my vinyl would be damaged, I would have taken my business elsewhere. I talked to my insurance to see if I can get it fixed and they were adamant that Ovando was responsible for the damage. Not only did he blame the vinyl installer, but he declined responsibility to repair the damage to the roof vinyl and vinyl along the A Pillars. The roof is incredibly noticable and will lift as I continue to drive my vehicle. The A Pillars aren't as visible with the molding and gasket that was installed, but there's a possibility that they can lift as well. My insurance agent recommends that I pursue legal action to get things situated, but I'm hoping that Ovando does the right thing. If I can't get a response and get things properly taken care of, legal action may be the best course of action. The photos that I'm posting are before, during, and after. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Called them at 11am, got to my place at 1230, finished exactly at 1pm. If that's not excellent customer then I don't know what is. The price for my 2012 Prius was $165, which was reasonable to me especially having to drive out to my place. Plus it was hot ass balls outside. In addition, there's a lifetime warranty on the windshield too. Gave him $170 cash, a bottle of water and some Gatorade and called it a day. It's always stressful to deal with car issues, but when you are dealing with a broken window due to theft, it's worse. Ovando was understanding on and sympathetic on the phone. He quickly located the piece of glass I needed, gave me an estimate and was able to come out to my house the next day and quickly replaced the broken window. He cleaned out all the broken glass in the door panel, and vacuumed up the glass he could see inside the car. And he did this all in my driveway at no extra charge for mobile. I called Millennium Auto Glass yesterday (Friday) late afternoon and spoke to Ovando about repairing my windshield. I had planned on calling around for multiple quotes, however, Ovando was so genuinely friendly that I didn't even think twice about wasting any other time calling around. Very professional. I had spoken with Ovando (Owner) in late 2019 about my windshield on my 2012 Civic being cracked from a rock that hit it on the freeway. I texted him a picture of what my crack looked like and he said that the crack was not fixable and that the windshield would have to be replaced.
