We went there on January 17th for a pedicure and a new set of builder gel nails. This is my first set of builder nails. These are fantastic! It is February 28th. They are all still on as tight as they were when I first got them 6 weeks ago! Perfect. The Nail Techs were fantastic. Because my builder nails were being placed for the first time, it took longer than I am used to. I used to have SNS Gel nails. Never again. Those take a shorter amount of time, but don't last nearly as long. Because I have ADHD and am not used to sitting in one place for long, I was going bananas waiting for my builder nails to be finished. It was so hard for me to wait! If I had known I would be sitting in a chair longer than I do when I am getting my SNS Gel nails, I would have taken my medicine before going. I appreciate how the Nail Techs, including the Owner, helped me. I asked the Owner if I could come back the next day because I was going nuts. She was smart, though. She kept distracting me, joked around with me, and made me laugh until we were done. She turned around an unpleasant situation into a pleasant one. I am so grateful to the Nail Tech and the Owner. I wish I could go back to see them for a fill-in, but I don't live in Michigan. The next time I work there, though, I will definitely go in for more wonderful services. The Pedicure was wonderful, too. Both my coworker and I felt pampered. We had worked hard that week and deserved a break. Luxx nails gave it to us. Thank you. She agreed it was pretty bad and said she'd never seen hair cut that terrible. My hair was past my shoulders and when I got to her it was right above. She was so kind and took time to listen and really look at my hair to see what she could do. She spent almost two hours fixing this. She tried to keep my length and tried her best to blend it all together. It just wasn't going to happen. I ended up with short hair, but it looked really good. She did such a fabulous job and was so nice about the whole thing. I was able to walk out confident and really ended up liking the style she was able to give me. She is a true gem! They always come out flawless and she has so so so many colors to choose from that are shellac styled. For hair, Hannah is the sweetest and does an excellent job every time.
