I walked in after getting my brows done next door, which is an amazing spot too by the way. I was seated right away and waited until it was my turn to get a pedicure. I love that it is a family business and the service I received was wonderful! Very friendly and patient. My pedicure was one of the best and most neat pedicure I have received in a while, most places just do not take the time. It's hard to find the hours online to know ahead of time if theyre open. I hope to get lucky again and walk in to receive the same service as before. I'll look no further for another nail salon. read more

visited yesterday and got hot gel nails. i'm satisfied with the color and the price i paid, but the quality could be better - my polish is lumpy... i was also a little taken aback by the fact that the technician didn't wash his hands before he did my nails, and he was using his fingernails to push my cuticles back. he was very friendly and the ambience of the salon was relaxing, but i probably won't return here, unfortunately! for what i spent i could buy a kit from amazon and do them myself read more

I left crying!! The Polish was all over my hands. They tried to (fix) them and I just kept crying and asked repeatedly just to take them off. They would not!! I felt very bullied into them switching people to fix them after I asked them just to take them off. When she had taken alk the polish off she did Not replace the acrylic and just painted them again. She then took pictures of my hands. I was not scouting be charged for them. She then charged my daughter for both sets and I waz unaware til we left. I went back in and they refused to refund my daughter. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!! read more

I desperately needed a fill, I walked in the salon was fairly empty so I was able to get right to a table. My tech came over and started working on my nails. And that's about where my happiness with this place stopped. First of all, he took a personal call right after he started. A call from a customer would have been understandable. My nails are crooked, they're sloppy and I had to remind my tech that we were doing a design on my nails. I'm very disappointed that I had to spend the amount of money that I did to get the results that I got. I definitely won't go back. I'm sad because I was very hopeful that this might be my new place but now I'm on the hunt again. read more

A clean salon that does immaculate manicures! I walked in without an appointment hoping to make an appointment, but they insisted they could fit me in right now. I was concerned that it would be a quick, maybe sloppy manicure, but I was wrong. They were detail oriented, cleaned up my cuticles perfectly, soaked my fingers, applied lotion etc. all things the last salon (Vina Nails) did not. The best part is the shellac has lasted going on a week with no chips or lifts and I'm sure it will last another week or even two. Definitely found a great salon! read more

Went back to Hot Nails today. They got me in ASAP. I called ahead and they had an early appointment. I just got a manicure since my nails can't handle fake nails :(. Anyway Ben did a great job. The first polish I picked out was a dark blackish red, but it was almost empty so he suggested a few other colors. I love dark blue and he found the perfect color. Love it. read more

The lady doing my nails didn't bother to clean up the skin around my nails or the cuticle at all and the polish is streaky in spots (I know it's hard to see since it's such a light color). She also didn't bother to apply cuticle oil after my nails were dr, I'm glad I found a bottle in my purse. I'm not super pleased with my experience. I walked in today and needed one of my nails repaired. I waited about 20 minutes cause their were a couple appointments ahead of me. I finally got into a chair and got another nail put on my pinky. The nail itself looks fine, however, the reason I'm not pleased is because the owners young niece (who I'm sure couldn't possibly have a license) was called over to buff, file, and paint my nails. I would guess she was maybe 12. I was not asked if this was alright, and I was charged for them being painted, which wouldn't have upset me if they were done by someone who actually had a license and experience. I wouldn't have even cared if they would have just checked with me first. By the end, my nails were not dry, they rushed me out, and I now have some rough looking nails. I will probably not take my business here again. Very unprofessional. read more

He told me "Don't Cry" before he even started. Rushed while doing my nails as a result several came out crooked. My whole nail isn't even covered with nail polish. He kept looking over my shoulder at the next women in line to get hers done instead of focusing on just doing mine. There's a big gap on all my nails where acrylic should be. I was in the Kalamazoo area for a family function sometime in May 2004 and wanted my nails done for a fancy evening party I was attending. It was a family owned operation and there appeared to be 4 people running the joint--a mother, her daughter, the daughter's husband, and another girl whom I'm not sure was related or not. I started out with the daughter working on my nails and then her husband took over (not exactly sure why) but it wasn't just me--they were cycling around to different customers and I found that quite amusing. One minor thing--I had picked out a color I wanted but they kept trying to offer me different colors; regardless, I held my ground as a customer and got the color I wanted. On the off chance I'm ever in the area again, I'd go back to Hot Nails because the service was good, I won't argue with that one. read more

Worst service I've ever received. I tried this place because I'm not from the area and they had great Yelp reviews. I went in for a full set and a pedicure. The man who did my nails (I think his name was Ben) was extremely rude. I asked for a stiletto nail shape and he argued with me saying that I needed to ask for "pointy nails" and that stilettos aren't pointy. He complained about the fact I wanted a bright yellow color and how he needed to put white on first, he said my nails were too wide for the shape I wanted (I've had stilettos for about 3 years and had no issues anywhere else I've gone), my toe nail polish from my pedicure was smudged. And he rushed me out because he had another appointment, so he just skipped putting rhinestones on my nails since he said "They'll fall off anyway". Overall, they were rude, did a terrible job not only because they were careless, but also because they did a rushed job because they had another appointment. read more
