I probably won't come back. My 2nd experience there was not good. They were nice enough people, but tried to pull a quick one on me. Pulled out soiled clippers to start, I called it out and asked for a sterile pack. She seemed annoyed, walked away for 2 seconds then came back with what APPEARED to be a sealed pack and proceeded to pretend to open it in front of me. I was on vacation & in need of a bright red manicure specifically and stumbled across Mill Plaza! I got a dip mani (really wish I could remember the nail techs name.. I think she was possibly the owner), the price was great and actually cheaper than I expected it to be, she used no drilling on my nails even during removal of my previous dip which I really loved! She was quick and efficient but did not make me feel rushed and she paid close attention to detail when doing my nails. I am so sad I live 13 hours away or I would totally make this my new spot!!! read more

Absolutely the worst pedicure I've ever had. I paid over $115 and left with nails that looked like they were painted by a toddler. The polish started chipping as soon as I got home. On top of that, the pricing is misleading and not clearly communicated. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. read more

I really have nothing good to say about this establishment. The prices are astronomical. Not just "aspen prices" but truly ridiculous. I'm willing to pay for good services... this was not the case. A 20$ manicures anywhere else is significantly better. They started by combining my mani pedi without asking. So someone was hanging over me while I was in the pedicure chair which is not relaxing whatsoever. While removing the dip from my nails the manicurist keeping apologizing for it being too hot on my nail. I've never had that burn the way it did. It happened for all ten fingers. Repeatedly. The pedicurist obviously tried to tell me I needed the second most expensive pedicure. As if the base line wasn't expensive enough. Once my previous dip was off (and my fingers burned) the manicurist moved me to her station. She then proceeded to buff my nails with the electric nail buffer for I kid you not 25 mins. With every single buffer. It felt like she was new and experimenting with every new buff head her machine came with. My nails felt raw after. It continued to burn me to the point where she finally got a new machine even after acknowledging it had burnt me for the previous 20 mins. Even after buffing for 25 mins I am now sitting at home feeling how bumpy and ridged my nails are. After the most expensive manicure of my life to have this poor of quality is such a disappointment. I have no desire to go back. I'd rather my nails be naked. EDIT 3 days later... two of my pink nails have an orangish backing to them. And 2 of my toes have chipped. I wish i could leave 0 stars. WORST AND MOST PAINFUL EXPERIENCE EVER HERE AND THE BLONDE LADY IS SO RUDE AND DISMISSIVE FOR AWFUL WORK. The mother cut me multiple times even after i explained i have sensitive cuticles so please be gentle. Rushing the entire time and so aggressive kept cutting me. i just wanted a basic pink gel manicure on my natural nails. my cuticles are RAW from the drill being so close and hot. and demanded payments & a tip before the service was complete and said "thats it" when i tipped BEFORE THE AWFUL service. i wish i would have waited to pay and tip until after because i would have asked for a discount. when it was time to paint her daughter took over i said "please make sure to seal the edges good so they dont lift" (thats one of my biggest pet peeves) she painted my nails sooo fast she got paint on my skin and it was lumpy and different opacities. when she redid one of the nails there was a hair sealed in the first layer of gel and when i complained she was gaslighting me saying "its just your eyes" ... theres a whole HAIR IN THE POLISHHHH I had to get 6 nails removed and repainted and they did it even worse. its like they were just being petty. Such a rushed and mediocre job for $58 basic gel nails. At the end i left with botched nails. and cuticles in extreme pain. i was crying and she called me "dramatic" and laughed and wouldnt let me speak. anyways id recommend letting a wild bear paint your nails than either of the ladies at that salon. read more

I went to this nail salon to get dipping powder on my natural nails and while there they convinced me to get a gel enhancer but never told me it would be a higher price. From there the lady doing my nails got the wrong color that I picked out, cut me three times, and got the gel onto my skin around the nail. Plus when I went to pay they charged me $90! When I tried to argue the price, the manager (blonde haired lady) fought back, so I paid. However I caught her telling the employee, "you cut her?!" as I was leaving, so I was confirmed that even she knew my nail job was unacceptable. read more

Worst gel I've ever gotten. My nails are destroyed. They made me wait 25 mins for my 1pm appointment. I had gel on my nails already from my usual place in NY and instead of using acetone to remove it, she used an electric file. I think this thinned and damaged my nails. I selected a color, then she switched it out to a different color and told me it was all they had available similar to what I wanted. Then she rushed through the job. Left lint on my nail. By day 2, two of my nails had broken. By day 3, another broke and the tip she added to one of my other nails began lifting/bubbling up. I finally decided to trim all my nails because they are all uneven from breaking. It took me months to get my nails this long. Do not go here. My nails are f**d. DO NOT GO HERE. Absolutely the worst nail experience of my life. After I asked my nail tech 3 times to please make the dip thin, I was about to give up and leave when one of the other nail techs told her she needed to fix it because I was clearly upset. At this point I was already disappointed and hated how my nails looked, but I didn't want to cause a problem or be rude. I apologized profusely, but my nail tech was not happy and was AGGRESSIVELY pulling my hands around and putting in zero effort to correct my nails or even paint on my nails at all (as you can see from the photos). It was super hostile and very awkward. She skipped any actual cuticle work and just went ahead and shaved off some skin on my thumb and pinky with the buffing tools leaving me bleeding. The photos below were taken 3 days after I got this monstrosity of a manicure, leaving time for any shellac she painted all over my fingers and UNDER my nails to come off in the shower after picking at it for days, and they still look like I painted these with my toes. Seriously it's so laughable... The worst part was, I was charged $90 for this experience and terrible manicure!!! $90!!!!!!! I should have refused to pay and had them take this off, but again I didn't want to be rude. Please save yourself the trouble of going to this place. Worst experience ever. They completely destroyed my nails. I told her multiple times that she was hurting me and she said sorry and kept going. I finally asked her to do it a different way bc she was destroying my nails and she didn't take all of the acrylic off of the other nails. Because she was just ripping my acrylic off without soaking it before she ripped up my thumb nail and caused a HUGE hang nail and she kept pulling at it and I said it was my real nail and she said no it's not and I said yes it is I can feel it and it hurts and she kept messing with it. The fact that she let me walk out with my nails looking like this and still thought I should pay her, is mind blowing. WILL NEVER go back. read more

On February 1 I went to this salon to have a dipping powder manicure. The tech took two hours to do my nails (not a good sign). This normally takes my person in Florida 45 minutes. On February 3 (just two days later), entire dipping powder nails started coming off. By February 4, four nails came off and I went back to the salon to have them "fixed" on February 5. The owner or manager stood there while the tech "fixed" them and told me he was new and didn't know how to do nails as curved as mine but she assured me that they were fixed. Again, within two days they started coming off again. I left Aspen on February 8, and by February 11, four nails had again come off and the others were loose. I called the owner to politely ask for a refund and she became very combative and said they do not refund (no matter how poor their service is apparently) and I could come back and they will "fix them again" only after I told her I was no longer in Aspen. Do not go here. They are praying on tourists and hoping they leave town before they have to do anything about their poor workmanship. read more

Avoid wasting your money and time! Paid over $100 and did not get a massage. The technician was only willing to file my nails and not clip them. She rested her finger over base coat which made painting them super lumpy. I pointed it out but she said the top coat would fix. So if I can save anyone else their time and money then this review was worth it! read more

This was my first experience with this particular salon and right off the bat, I was super impressed. First off, had no issue making a last-minute appointment for my daughter and me to get pedicures and they saw us right away as soon as we got to the salon, no waiting around. My daughter is eight and everyone was so nice and accommodating to her as she can be a little ticklish and wiggly during the pedi, but Thomas didn't mind at all and talked with her right on through it. My pedicure was amazing and the massage was unreal. I have a great salon that I go to back home but I have to say that Mill Plaza may top them on the foot and leg massage! Anyway, at the end of our pedis, they asked if we also wanted our nails done and even though they were about to close, they didn't mind at all when we agreed. I have hard gel on my nails and Mia did a fantastic job filling them in and painting them; definitely ask for her if you make an appointment! read more

I have been here twice. They have 3-4 technicians working at any given time. An appointment is not necessary and both of the times there was no wait time. I have gotten two pedicures and a dip manicure. Pros: - They have loyal customers, which is a good sign - Clean enough - not aggressive in upselling - Convenient location in town, no appointment necessary Neutral: - nowhere near the best service I have received based. I mainly get my nails done in similar nail salons in NYC. That is my baseline for evaluation. Everything just seems to be half hazardly done when compared to NYC salons. - Pedicures and manicures have not been as neatly done and have not lasted as long as the ones I get in NYC. - They say pedicures can last through a nuclear blast- and that has been my experience. To my surprise, both my pedicures started chipping within a week. Cons: - My second pedicure with them was not a good experience. The lady was very aggressive with cuticle trimming and cleaning. It was painful. I flinched a few times but she didn't seem to care at all. I think I could have spoken up more, but honestly, I'm not that mad at myself because she did not give off a friendly vibe. - Cut the base of a cuticle too deep. It ended up bleeding. She got some disinfectant for it, which is nice. But other than that, she did not acknowledge it at all. - During the callus removal, she completely disregarded that there was an open wound and rubbed the removal all over the wound. WOW. That stung. - Wound started bleeding again and she did hold a cotton ball over it to stop the bleeding. -Two weeks later, the wound has still not fully healed. It's not infected, but is still painful to the touch. Overall: Go if you just need to get your nails done last-minute on a basic, no-frills, level and the location is convenient for you. I'm going to keep looking for another regular go-to spot. read more

It was fine. I asked for coffin and got a square shape. I was told that their press ons would last longer than acrylics and the pointer and pinky have fallen off within 5 days. I also asked if Apple Pay was taken prior to sitting down (told yes) and then they freaked out when I tried to use it. Definitely not worth 100 dollars especially because he was untrained. Worst nail salon I've been to. I went in and asked for a French SNS manicure with tips. 10 minutes into the appointment it was clear they didn't know how to properly do this. An hour and a half later, I wound up with the worst manicure I've ever had... every nail was different and looked nothing like the picture I showed them. My friend got a simple SNS manicure and had similar results to me. The girl sitting next to us asked them to redo to her nails as well. They admitted my nails came out poorly and apologized but still charged me $91 for it! The most I've ever paid for a manicure! I'm on day two and the gel they painted over the manicure is already chipping. And the icing on the cake is that they cut me on four different fingers! Do NOT go here. read more

Not one to post a review but was quite upset with my experience. Everything was pleasant until the check out. When I made an appointment earlier that morning we had agreed on a price. But, at checkout I was told a completely different price almost double the initial cost. The price including add ons like "shaping" that should be included in any manicure service on short nails. No additional add ons were disclosed to me. The nail technician did an excellent job and was more than friendly and sweet. The salon looked clean and I was really happy to find a new place. Although, the end result at the cashier was very upsetting and I will not be returning. After being quote 55$ for a service I ended up paying $85 which I had no planned on. We ended up arguing over the price and the fact that I was misquoted and uniformed of price additions. I tried to reason with the cashier/owner but was not successful. Everyone at the salon seems like good hearted and hard working individuals but based on the reviews and my experience they need to change their method with pricing. The prices must be disclosed to all customers before the service or during. I recommend installing a price list to each nail technicians desk to avoid this happening again. I went in and asked for a "regular manicure". The person helping me pointed at different scents and lotions I could choose from without ever mentioning that it was a $35 up charge. My $45 manicure became an $80 manicure. When I questioned this, the owner became extremely rude and aggressive. Aside from this, it's a loud, unrelaxing environment.
