I have always tipped 30% and had you followed the law and acknowledge my gift cert it would have been the same probably more. And to what your workers are going to do during off season...I would have come in several times and tipped big crating revenue for your business and cash in your employees pockets. it's on you that they won't have off season work. Actually under this law they are not different. I'm not crying. I'm simply asking you to follow the law and expressing that tipping is optional and I am not putting your employees out of business. Why 1 star?? 1st I get my nails done 1x per month 2nd this place is borderline in violation of health department regulations 3rd my wife's nails have more bubbles than bubble wrap Why?? They don't use sanitized tools, they just put washed tools and put them in an open blue bag and pretend to open it in front of you, but it's just washed in the sink in the back. All this to make you think they are from a sanitation company. So that is a bit scary Putting that aside they did a truly terrible job. Just left and not impressed - Mostly with them changing the price on me. I called before to make an appointment - I was told "$35 for pedicure, $60 for dip manicure - do them together it's $90." Still pricey, but I'm in Aspen so it was fine. After my mediocre pedicure (nails were slightly better), they told me it was $99. When I asked how or why, they claimed no one called asking for prices, but clearly I did to make an appt and ask. Even when I asked the guy how it was $99 he quoted $35 for a pedicure and $60 for mani - That math still does not add up. The place was clean, the service was fine, but I do NOT appreciate being given a different price than I was quoted. Nothing extra was done and then just claimed I was wrong. Today I had a gift certificate that my friend gave this past year while I was taking care of my dying mom. it was a tough year and I didn't realized that gift cert said valid for 6months. I was a couple months outside of that and they would not honor which with my loyalty, sending people there, and my situation I found extremely disappointing. upon further research I also discovered that the federal law mandates that all gift certs and cards must be valid for 5 years. so not only were the unfriendly but they are also breaking the law read more

The guy (named chau) was rude and impatient. 60$ (40$ the exact same service in LA) and I'm not an annoying costumer, I also tip very well when I'm satisfied! So don't F blow air and make faces at me when I ask to see two color on my skin tone and choose one of them! 10$ (!!) extra charge to fix one nail that was broken. And as if it's not enough, TWO DAYS after getting a full set (60$) THREE OF MY NAILS JUST FELL OFF (I didn't hit my hand or anything like that) I came back to fix it and the girl asked for 15$ (I could've believe it) Oh and I almost forgot to add that the place smelled HORRIBLE while I was getting my nails done. Those Vietnamese places are absolutely the WORST at costumer service. Too bad, so many of my costumers are asking for recommendations for nail salon.. will defiantly won't send them there. read more

Had an eyebrow appointment for 2:00pm, she helped the lady in front of me who was getting nails done by 2:30 she told me she couldn't do my eyebrows because the weather had changed and the wax was cold......it's ASPEN. Worst Experience at a nail salon ever! I wish there was the ability to give it "no stars". The guy at the front was so incredibly rude! He acted like he was upset that I was even coming in to their place of business. He gave me attitude when I asked about the pricing because it was $20 more for the exact same thing which I get in Orange County. The pricing is awful for the quality you get. He then sat down and started working on my nails, wasn't friendly at all, and then got up half way through without saying anything and left to go play video games on the computer. Some other nail tech finished up my nails. Then to top it off, within 5 days after that, 4 OF MY NAILS BROKE OFF!! They were acrylics and I hadn't done anything physical with them, they just snapped off! My boyfriend ended up proposing on this trip so I was so excited to have beautiful hands to show off my ring. And I was heartbroken that I had to go back a few days later and get the nails COMPLETELY TAKEN OFF. I called back and told them I wanted my money back completely ($75) or they needed to fix them for me for free. So I went back in and this was even worse. The guy was so rude again, didn't even want to talk to me or look me in the eye, and made me soak my nails in acetone for 10-15 minutes (which distresses your nails and cuticles). It was awful!! I almost got out of the chair and left! My other nail place would never leave me sitting there with my nails slowly deteriorating in strong alcohol. Who does that?!? This place should be shut down! If the guy in the front is so miserable to be there, then why does he even work there?? I never leave reviews like this, but I was truly appalled!! I have been here twice for a gel manicure and pedicure. The first time they had openings immediately and I should have taken that as a sign, the second visit I made an appointment. The service was less than mediocre, I would definitely choose another nail salon. The second visit when I made an appointment and arrived 20 min early I waited an additional 35 min before someone could start my pedicure. I had made an appointment 4 days earlier. I chose a color for the pedicure and upon being told they could match the manicure color to it, i chose to stick with that color, I was going on vacation and wanted the toes and fingers to match this time. When they started my manicure they didn't have a color remotely close to the color I chose for my toes! Also I had booked a full set manicure with acrylic and she said we only have a few colors if you choose to get a full set!! I have never heard this and no other salon has said this, I can usually choose from dozens of colors when getting a full set. Staff was not friendly and I won't return. read more

I HATE giving such low reviews....but here goes. Atmosphere: 1 star The moment you walk in you can't help but notice that the space is hardly a spa and most importantly, it's not clean. My massage chair had no massage function. The place to fill up water for my feet was perhaps not plumbed or not functioning because they filled up a round tub with tap water and placed it in the space that would normally have water in a foot spa. There was a baby there. Even though he was cute as a button, I don't like going to a spa with a baby there and he was crying. Nail tech: 1 star My nail tech at the time (male but not the owner) seemed okay but is just one of the reasons why I decided to write in. Less than a week later, my $100 shellac mani/pedi is peeling soooo bad at the cuticle on almost every nail! The lady that does my nails in Houston makes that mani last at LEAST two weeks! Why are they all peeling at the edges? Totally not cool. Additionally, the "massage" was hardly a massage. What in the world? I should have timed it. I almost forgot I got a "massage"! A mere few minutes at best! I wanted to go to St. Regis but they were booked. Not many good reviews for nail salons in Aspen. I would normally not have gone ahead with the service but there are surprisingly few options in town! No, I would not recommend this place. It's shockingly bad for such a beautiful city. I wanted to like this place because we called and they fit us in 30 minutes later.I got a mani-pedi with no polish and I was completely done in 20 minutes-- no buff to make nails smooth, no detail to attention, no cuticle oil...I have bits of cuticle still on my nails, and she butchered my fingernail--clipped them down to the quick and then could barely file them.
