The lip wax was done with a very good quality hard wax and was quick and as tolerable as a lip wax can be. The salon has a wide range of products available to purchase and even a $10 sale bin! They have a wide selection of hair extensions available as well. This is a very nice family business, grandmother owned with her 2 grand-daughters working there. I'm obsessed with their holistic take on life and professionalism! Every time I set foot in their little oasis, I'm instantly renewed with a breathe of energy! I am warmly welcomed and everyone there makes me feel right at home. (Love the tea they have there too)! J. Christopher truly knows the science behind hair and teaches you little techniques that you can do at home yourself so that you can achieve the same look without going to the salon. I have pretty curly hair, and getting my hair cut always scares me; some stylists like to get scissor happy but not with J. Christopher! He only cuts/trims what the hair needs, so that it is then able to grow in a healthy way. He is a joy to be around and extremely knowledgeable. If you enjoy learning how 'hair works' go to J. He provided insight into my hair's texture and natural shape that no other stylist had done before, which means I can better identify the types of cuts that flatter me most. I have thick textured, straight Asian hair which, like curly hair, can be challenging to cut properly. If you're looking for a new stylist, be sure to give him a try. I should also mention that his salon is tranquil with a pretty view (no noisy chit chat and constant sound of blow dryers like you'll find in larger salons). Something to keep in mind, with this or any hair stylist, is to be involved in your experience. If the stylist is doing something that you don't like, say something immediately. Don't wait until you get home to write a Yelp review; that's doing a disservice to the business AND yourself as the customer.

Apparently it's some kind of crime to do hair on a Sunday or something, because I was pretty much in tears as I stated calling salons as far away as Glenwood Springs, all to no avail. Kendra was able to meet me at my venue, and knocked out a stunning updo in record time. She was professional and gentle and was always sure to check in and make sure that I wasn't uncomfortable in any way. She's a one woman show, and I am so glad I was able to find her!

5-star service and experience - read below for our story…read more.. My fiancé, Taylor, and I visit Aspen every year. This year, we decided to come for our engagement photos. We landed in Aspen on a Thursday with our engagement photos scheduled on Sunday. We prepped for our photo shoot at our home in Chicago for weeks before the trip. At 9:30pm on the night before our big day, Taylor and I realized that we were not happy with the way our hair looked. In a state of panic we began calling/emailing every hair salon within a 20-mile radius. By 10am on Sunday morning we were beginning to come to terms with the fact that every salon is closed and we were going to have to make-do with the way we looked. Until Taylor received a call back from Cheyenne, the owner of Full Circle Salon. Cheyenne confirmed that Kendra would meet us at the salon for my haircut and Taylor's a blow out at 11:30am. I'm not going to lie, we were a little apprehensive at first. But when the only salon in Aspen was nice enough to open their doors on a Sunday; we didn't exactly have an opportunity to be picky. We met Kendra at Full Circle Salon and immediately made a connection with her. As we were expressing our gratitude for opening the Salon to take our appointment with only 1-hour notice, Kendra responded with "I love my job and it makes me happy to know I'm helping people". All our nerves went out the window! The term "Bridezilla" is a very broad term. It expands much further than your standard woman "whose behavior in planning her wedding is regarded as obsessive or intolerably demanding". Warning to all men and future fiancé's, engagement photos have the ability to bring out all the emotions, stress levels, and anxieties of your everyday Bridezilla. Taylor and I walked into our hair appointment stressed, overwhelmed, and aggravated to say the least. Until we met Kendra. Kendra is truly a special person. She listened to us and genuinely cared what we had to say. She shared stories with us that we will remember forever. Taylor and I felt like we were reuniting with a best friend that we've known for years. Not only is Kendra a good person; but she is incredibly talented! Kendra completely transformed both of our hair; she boosted our confidence levels by making us feel good and look amazing. Our only complaint is that Kendra doesn't live in Chicago so we could continue to grow our friendship while reaping the benefits of her services. From cutting men's hair, styling/coloring women's hair, manicures/pedicures and so much more! If you are in Aspen, we highly recommend contacting Kendra! Taylor and I are grateful for the experience that we had and look forward to coming back to Aspen for her services. Kendra has a bright successful future ahead of her; I recommend making an appointment with Kendra before she is completely booked!
