We landed in Aspen on a Thursday with our engagement photos scheduled on Sunday. We prepped for our photo shoot at our home in Chicago for weeks before the trip. At 9:30pm on the night before our big day, Taylor and I realized that we were not happy with the way our hair looked. In a state of panic we began calling/emailing every hair salon within a 20-mile radius. By 10am on Sunday morning we were beginning to come to terms with the fact that every salon is closed and we were going to have to make-do with the way we looked. Until Taylor received a call back from Cheyenne, the owner of Full Circle Salon. Cheyenne confirmed that Kendra would meet us at the salon for my haircut and Taylor's a blow out at 11:30am. I'm not going to lie, we were a little apprehensive at first. But when the only salon in Aspen was nice enough to open their doors on a Sunday; we didn't exactly have an opportunity to be picky. We met Kendra at Full Circle Salon and immediately made a connection with her. As we were expressing our gratitude for opening the Salon to take our appointment with only 1-hour notice, Kendra responded with "I love my job and it makes me happy to know I'm helping people". All our nerves went out the window! The term "Bridezilla" is a very broad term. It expands much further than your standard woman "whose behavior in planning her wedding is regarded as obsessive or intolerably demanding". Warning to all men and future fiancé's, engagement photos have the ability to bring out all the emotions, stress levels, and anxieties of your everyday Bridezilla. Taylor and I walked into our hair appointment stressed, overwhelmed, and aggravated to say the least. Until we met Kendra. Kendra is truly a special person. She listened to us and genuinely cared what we had to say. She shared stories with us that we will remember forever. Taylor and I felt like we were reuniting with a best friend that we've known for years. Not only is Kendra a good person; but she is incredibly talented! Kendra completely transformed both of our hair; she boosted our confidence levels by making us feel good and look amazing. Our only complaint is that Kendra doesn't live in Chicago so we could continue to grow our friendship while reaping the benefits of her services. From cutting men's hair, styling/coloring women's hair, manicures/pedicures and so much more! If you are in Aspen, we highly recommend contacting Kendra!
