After living in the valley a little over a year, I still hadn't found a stylists who I thought was "the one". I happened upon Julie online and I am so glad I did! I went to Julie for balyage and a cut and she did a fabulous job. I've had many stylists who seem to listen to what I say, but as soon as they start coloring/cutting, they end up doing whatever they want. Julie is a lifesaver. I'm still so excited about how much I love my hair. After a week in the desert and using a hair lightener, my hair couldn't take it and literally broke off. I didn't know what to do and asked her if she could help me with hair extensions. She made me feel okay again and reassured me that she would love to help me. Julie gave me an amazing all natural hair regrowth system that ACTUALLY works. She even worked with me on the price. (I've been to several other consultations with other salons and it was so expensive, on top of just questioning that they really taking me seriously, because this was so unexpected and honestly crushed my self esteem.) She was so friendly and reassuring. I was actually looking forward to coming back to her salon. I was worried because my natural hair is kind of an odd color, and I was so sad that it had broken. I did not want to have to dye it. I was worried that she wouldn't be able to find hair that matched my hair color. She matched it PERFECTLY. She even put them in within an hour, before I had to work. I still get excited when I look in the mirror at my hair. My natural hair is untouched by hair dyes and is growing back in so smoothly (within 2 weeks I was already seeing growth) thanks to her hair care recommendations. Julie took great care of my wife and I when we went in to get out hair cut. We like to go to the same place so we can "knock it out" in one go. My hair was done in about 10minutes (short fade) and she didn't miss a spot with the scissors, or clipper's as far as I can tell. Just how I like it! I called Julie, who called me right back, and she got me in that same day. She did a great job with the color and the blow dry, plus she was very knowledgeable about hair health in general. I had an amazing experience and left with the best hair cut ever! I recommend Julie to everyone, especially young moms! I had my 4 month old baby with me and was dying for a cut. It had been months since my last one because it was so nervous about bringing the baby with me. Julie was flexible about the little one. She let me feed her when she woke up 10 minutes into the cut. She sat on my lap for the rest of the cut. What could have been a nightmare turned into a positive experience thanks to Julie's kindness. I was so impressed that she was able to give such an awesome cut with all the baby activity. I'm so happy that I can look pretty mom even on days when I feel like a zombie.
