The parking lot accommodates about 40 cars, with additional street parking available. I didn't end up using the kitchen, but it was large and even had an ice maker. There were plenty of tables and chairs provided, which made setup much easier. I toured both the Kent and Renton halls with Dustin, one of the managers, and he was very professional. Kyle, the other manager, was also great - he responded quickly to my texts both the day before and the day of the celebration. I would 100% recommend this venue for weddings, receptions, and other special events!

The Day of Coordinator was very unresponsive up until the day of the wedding - and to get her response we had to send 3-4 emails reminding her we need some answers, and when they finally messaged back it was already too late in the wedding to find other vendors that were cheaper. During the wedding- they messed up our seat choices so it made for an awkward situation where everyone was already sitting down but we had to ask them to get up to switch the seats. After, we had also found that the glass equipment we used from a 3rd party vendor came broken as the clean up crew or Day of coordinator did not care - resulting for us to reimburse the 3rd party vendor separately. They also switched up the amount that we had owed them every time we messaged them. They increased the price with no breakdown provided of why it costed so much and every time we questioned them - they would keep increasing the price. We also needed to add additional walls and heaters for the tent as the weather was pretty cold, so we asked for a quote but they did not tell us the amount until the day BEFORE the wedding - leaving us no choice. After the wedding they added a 22% service charge plus the 10% tax on top of that further increasing the amount they quoted us without giving notice. All in all, this was one of the worst experiences I had planning an event and if you want to save money and have a smooth wedding - I recommend avoiding this venue and blue ribbon catering all together.

The Grand Hall would host approx 200 people during current COVID restrictions, otherwise up to 400. Custodial, tables/chairs, linens and some centerpieces would be included, making this venue more coordinated and less stressful than some of the other venues I looked at in terms of planning. The in house catering for the grand hall was the only reason for not choosing the venue due to concerns of the caterer and certain Asian dishes we wanted for our wedding. Ashley, the event coordinator gave me a tour, invited me to the tasting and well followed up with me. She is a warm and friendly person to talk with. I've had struggles with other venues in trying to get them to even respond and response with other venues generally took days if not weeks. Ashley is quick to respond and thoroughly answers all of your questions. I very much appreciated her.

Great open air campus with plenty of new incoming buildings. Perfect college facility with available llc rental spaces in it's surrounding areas for public&students. Awful part is after a protest caused by Ely the president, she got fired from it. However, didn't actually improve at all. Then the school renamed 'Greenriver' without the word 'community'. They no longer prioritize affordable finances for low income families, eliminating several programs for budget cuts. Those who need to get through financial aid might face a lot of difficulties.
