First - the latte was super delicious. We both got latte with oat milk - they were extremely smooth, creamy but the beans were also dark but not overly bitter. It was perfectly rounded, and buttery. I can't wait to go back & try more variation of espresso drinks. Pastry wise, it was insane. The loukoumades delivered - it was super fresh with fragrant honey, and rich cinnamon powder on top. It was perfect with the coffee. The absolute peak, highlight of our meal was the Trigona. Holy s, that gotta be one of the best pastries I've had. The cream was smooth, silky, the pistachio was sweet and floral, and the phyllo? That was divine intervention. That last bite of the Trigona sent me straight to heaven. I'll be back often whenever I'm up north.

The kaiser bun is so soft, the meat is freshly sliced then stacked high, options of mustard, cheeses, lettuce and tomato. It is quite the exercise for old jaw to unhinge to its max to make way for enjoyment of his meat combos. His famous Roast Beef is cooked to a rare-medium, not well done like at the supermarket. I would have preferred a horseradish Mayo instead of the mustard, maybe you can ask if that's an option on your next visit. The Fight Club is an assortment of meats, and for $8.50 it's a great deal. Now these are not Foodie sandwiches, nothing extra unique to be discovered, it's just fresh, quality and made with a smile for you. They also sell frozen meals and soups to go. I have a heavy tray of Eggplant Parm in the freezer, will comment on that after it's gets baked. I'm ordering a sandwich platter for a potluck, he makes the traditional sliced bread, deli meat triangles or sliders from his wall menu(these are $3.50 each).

Super homey feeling and the blackboard styled menu was cool. Owner seemed nice as well. For my order I got takeout on the Friday special - Hot roast beef sandwich ($8) and a chicken samosa ($2). I think I enjoyed the sandwich a decent bit. Definitely fair priced and came with lettuce, onions, and cheese. However, the sandwich was super greasy and when we ordered, he just microwaved it lol. At least subway will put it in an oven. The samosa was pretty tasty though. Overall, I think my experience lacked a bit but maybe their cold roast beef is better (but it also wasn't available when I went). 3.5/5 stars.

I ordered the pear walnut salad, which is quite highly recommended by others online. As I'm not a fan of cheese, I asked for a substitution of either avocado or grilled mushrooms - and was very pleased to find that they accommodated my request! There were meaty chunks and generous cuts of portobello. In fact, there must have been a whole portobello mushroom there! I also asked for a side of salmon, and received a large filet. My main two complaints about this order are: 1) The walnut brittle was falsely advertised. It was a sweet pumpkin seed mixture, with no walnuts. 2) I found my salmon to be slightly undercooked. It was a little too shockingly pink!
