Absolutely LOVE this little market! I wish it were near where I lived because it has EVERYTHING!…read moreIt's like when you have that occasional recipe that calls for a not oft used ingredient, this place would definitely have it in stock. And a really nice brand, too. For example I picked up a bottle of Momofuku soy sauce - normally I'd have to have that shipped. We got a bunch of things here for lunches and dinners, including bowtie pasta salad with chicken; burrata cheese; beautiful heirloom tomatoes; snap peas; Italian wedding soup; chicken salad. Everything was super fresh, organic and delicious. And the service was not only friendly and attentive, it was super relaxed... while I like Ridgefield there is this overlying social tension everywhere that results in a sort of frosty service in some of the businesses. And hey I get it if I had to provide service to uptight, image conscious, egotistical patrons every day I'd probably end up the same way! Anyway the employees here were relaxed and genuine and it was really nice to just browse the wares and have a nice conversation with nice people. Highly recommend!

The last time I arrived 15 minutes before closing looking for something specific. I was "greeted" with & then told 4 more times as I walked to the back "we close in 15 minutes" - that's all they said. Not "hi", not "can I help you find something?" Not a smile, nothing, they all just repeated the same statement & walked away. The two previous times I shopped there nobody was friendly either.
