They had my bike for two months (this summer) to fix the hanger that broke. Kept calling for status and all I kept getting was they're working on it. Finally I had it with the wait and lack of communication only to find out that nothing was done to the bike. The annoying part is they could've easily said they couldn't find the part or don't work with the company which is unheard of if you're bike repair shop!! Had a problem with my old Trek hybrid with the brakes last week. Tried adjusting them several times in the heat with no luck. Took my bike once again to Milford Bicycle (have had tune-ups done there, replaced ancient tires, etc.). Within minutes, he diagnosed that a spring was broken and asked if I could leave it to further adjust the brakes. Since I had a 40 minute drive, he fixed it for me immediately and charged me a whopping total of $10 bucks lol. Soooo worth the drive, I won't take my bike anyplace else. read more

These guys are the BEST! I called and asked about a bike fitting (one I bought from REI) and they said to just come on in - so I did! They spent an hour with me adjusting and observing and replaced my handlebar stem with a shorter one. They really encouraged me to relax and sit into my posture. I felt very comfortable with them especially since I'm new to drop bars and felt like a total noob. The bike feels like a dream now! My aunt was with me and they offered to bring in a chair for her and asked if she wanted water. I mean, come on. So nice. A million stars! I'll be back! read more

This is a wonderful bike shop. Service is excellent and the mechanics are very knowledgable. I had a problem with my new tubeless tire set up. I fixed many flat tires but never on tubeless. Called the Milford Bicycle and they were able to fit me right in. Fixed my bike and trained me on how to take care of these wheels. Local bike shops like this are so good. We need to make sure to support them when buying stuff or getting service. read more

I was taking the cap off my valve of my road bike and the internal valve came off. I was due to ride with my son and brought the bike in. Well, I learned the presta's have two pieces. He tightened it and checked my rear to be Shute that was good too. Also checked and refilled the front. In and out in 10 minutes. Also, no charge. I bought a bike for my son who lives in Milford and was impressed with them. This took it to another level of satisfaction. read more

Amazing little Bike Shop in the center of Milford. Not far from the rail trail. I had been out riding the Upper Charles River Trail. My companion had a tire blow out. Fortunately we were only 1/4 mile from this bike shop. They took her bike right in, replaced both tires, adjusted her brakes. And we were on our way back to the trail in about 15 minutes. All for $90. And they gave us a couple bottles water. Since it was 90+ degrees out. I could have done without the mansplaining about how I should be drinking on a hot day. Hence the drop of a star. But all was forgiven by the free water. read more

DO NOT TRUST THESES GUYS!!! I left my carbon fiber bike to get inspected and when I came to pick it up both tires were pop up. I ask them what happened? They said sometimes it happens cause of sun. I said my bike came here with the tires full of air . The owner came to me and said this is the reason your bike has the tubs pop up " your bike is cheaper and have a mechanic problem" . I told him, I understood whats the problem even if my bike cost was $800 but its your responsibility take care about it. He gave me the bike the way you can see the pics and said " I don't want your money, take your bike and do not come here" . Think 5x before you bring the bike there, IT CAN HAPPEN WITH YOU!!! read more

I had a problem with shifting my road bike and brought it to this shop on a Sunday. The staff were courteous looked and fixed my bike with no charge . I also wanted to purchase a bolt for my bike shoes they sifted through their screws bolts etc and found me one again no charge. Highly recommend this great little shop. Bought my very first bike here 25 years ago and it is still my all time favorite. Moved to another location but while out for a long ride had a little crash and bent my rear derailleur hanger. Remembering that the shop was nearby I stopped in and despite being busy with repairs the guys took the time to fix me up and get me back on the road. I had to insist on paying them for the service. Got there on Sunday as they were opening. Jimmy couldn't have been more helpful!!! I needed my derailleur set up on my new Santa Cruz and without blinking an eye he told me to bring it in and proceeded to spend the next 30-40 minutes setting it up and teaching me how to adjust it!!! Excellent and quick service. Reasonable prices. My wife's bike got a flat at the begining of our ride on the Milford Trail. Her bike had very old tires that were ready to be replaced. Found Milford Bicycle. They recommended a set of road tires. We told them we preferred dirt tires. They went to the basement and returned in a minute with 2 tires that were exactly what we wanted. The tech Installed both tires in a matter of minutes and lubed some spots on the bike that needed it. Out the door in about 35 minutes with 2 new tires. No upselling. No pressure. Just good products, good prices, and very good service. Could not be happier. read more
