    TORTURE CHAMBER!…read more Technicians here were never very light handed and most of the time I couldn't take a lash nap while getting my refills but my experience during my last two week volume refill is what finally broke the camel's back. I went in at 5:30pm last Sunday. The refill was painful but what's new? When I opened my eyes I realized it was all uneven and looked shabby. I had an important business trip that week and said I can't just show up like that. They said the tech can fix it in 15-20 min so I agreed to let them fix it. BIG MISTAKE! Tech started working on removing the lashes and I've never experienced such pain in my eyes before. Not only the remover burned horribly but she kept yanking on my lashes so hard that at one point I screamed in pain and scared the tech. I didn't want to be there anymore I asked if I can get all the lashes removed and they said it would take at least an hour. I decided against that because at this point I was panicking and all I wanted was to get out of that chair as soon as possible with my eyes intact. Then they started applying new lashes. That was a whole different kind of pain. My EYELIDS started to burn. I know the glue fumes can burn your eyes and it's part of the process but at this point it was my eyelids that just felt like they were on fire. They irrigated the area and continued. Finally I was told I can open my eyes again. At this point I had been in that torture chair for 2.5 hours and had to pee. I went to the restroom and noticed that after all that pain and emotional distress my lashes were still uneven!!!! But seriously, who cares? All I wanted was to run out of there. I paid for the full $75 two week volume refill and left. The next morning I woke up and my eyes felt weird. So I went to the mirror and got terrified of the face staring back at me. Never have I ever had eyes this swollen and red before. To be honest, after that 2.5 hr torture I was still grateful that I at least still had my vision! I went to my business trip and had to explain to people the dumb mistakes I made regarding my lashes so they don't think I'm getting abused at home. I sent the pictures and requested a refund from the business, because who would want to spend their hard earned money to get tortured only to end up looking like this. Never heard back from them. Moral of the story is, NEVER EVER go to EmLash!!! They will physically harm you and take your money for it!

    Extremely Disappointed - Be Cautious with This Location…read more I've been a loyal Amazing Lash Studio client for over 10 years, visiting various locations across Houston, and I've never had an experience like this. I scheduled an appointment on Thursday and received a reminder text--but noticed it was for the wrong location. I immediately called to cancel and assumed everything was taken care of. When I went to the studio that i tented to do my lashes with today, I was told at checkout that I had no credits available, even though I knew I should have one. The front desk associate was kind enough to help and called my home office studio to figure out what happened. That's when I found out the original (wrong) location marked me as a no-show and took my $70 credit--even though I had called to cancel. Apparently, whoever answered the phone at that studio didn't properly document the cancellation. That mistake cost me my credit. I was shocked to learn that they would take a payment without confirming or at least calling me to clarify. This is not how you treat a long-time client. It's completely unacceptable and reflects a serious lack of accountability. I'm very disappointed and cannot recommend this location to anyone. Be very cautious--they will take your money without resolution or responsibility.

For one, you shouldn't have to go in to fill out any form. There's no law that states that you need to do that. cancellation verbally of a charge in the state of Texas is enough. They attempted to charge our card multiple times through different amounts to try and get charge to go through every single time. My credit card company has denied the charge. They're doing shady practices to try to get their numbers up simple as that stop telling people they need to fill out a form in person to cancel membership.

    I am so sorry to have to post this but I have been going here for about two years. My lashes always…read morelook amazing when I get her but the huge problem is she is just not dependable. I will have a scheduled appointment and arrive and the door is locked, nobody is there. I will call several time. She will not answer but finally text and ask me to drive all the way to her house. That has happened so many times. Other times she would say can I come back another day, this happened several times. Then she start say she was in a car accident; this happed about 5 or 6 times; I am surprise she can still walk. When I do get an appointment in with her, I do not see any signs of her being in an accident. She will go so far as to send me photos of some random car accident. Just not reliable or committed to her customers or her business. She is extremely sweet and nice. She does very very very good work if you can get her to actually do your lashes. After this last disappointment when I depended on her to do my lashes again for a very special event only for her to tell me via text to come the next day, I had to find another place for an emergency appointment. Prior to this appointment, I had been texting her a week in advance as a reminder, I texted almost everyday and she did not even have the courtesy to call or text me back. She decided to text me 2 hours after my scheduled appointment to say come the next day. This was my very last straw. Stick a fork in me because I am done. I tried to work with her but enough is enough. Let's pray for her that she becomes committed to her customers and business.

But more importantly my lash appointment is constantly being changed and never at the promised time. Last 3 visits so far, Vicky would text me to come in early, I'll text back "what time?" No response. Come there at my actual appointment and waited 30 mins over my appointment time. So WTF did you asked me to come in early for? Not a single apology or explanation as to what happened. Not to mention the front reception who can't even do his job of checking to see how much longer until Vicky will be seeing me. He just continued to have me wait while he watched videos on his phone. MBN getting paid watching videos all day. He finally goes and checks on her and I watched him. He gives me absolutely nothing while walking back to his chair. And I heard him ask her is she ready for me. But he comes back and says NOTHING. Who on earth treats clients like this? Learn some customer service will you? Came in for a refill 2 weeks later with L eye barely having anything left. And mind you, I know how to keep lash extensions and this is definitely not my first rodeo. My refill didn't even last a whole week and I literally cannot justify spending money here for terrible quality lash glue that they're using!!! Lastly, I mentioned to Vicky the owner how she did both my friend and sister wrong and explained that I had recommended her bc I thought her work was great! I told her it's not cool that my sister booked with her and she had a different lash artist work on my sister for the first time visit. My sister called and told me she didn't like her lashes and it was two completely diff style. Later, my friend booked but wasn't informed that Monday they're closed. She waited outside and mind you, she got a confirmation text for her appointment. Well, it never happened. She also did not have a response after reaching out to her regarding the two incidents. She just literally left me on "read". Very profession! Sike! Vicky clearly doesn't know how to run a business nor care about losing clients. I've been coming to her for over a year and definitely felt like I was going to stick around. Overtime now, I just feel like she can care less about quality, and at this point she can get more appointments in by controlling everyone else's time, and using cheap lash glue. I say cheap bc the lashes fall off my natural lash. Though her artists wanna claim it's bc it's shedding season. Please! My natural lashes were not even stuck on the extensions. DO BETTER!
