I'm here from Chicago visiting my MIL and got a Saturday mani-pedi from Kim. Listen, this was great enough that I'd visit my MIL more just to have Kim work on me. I'm super ticklish and my feet and hands were disasters from running, neglect, and winter. She completely transformed them and didn't give up! Usually people quit on my feet after a minute because I'm too ticklish but she just held on and went for it. They're baby soft. I don't use these types of services but came here to keep my wife company. The business was very clean and they were very accommodating taking us in early. The manicurist was very friendly and did a wonderful job. My wife was very pleased with the experience. So for all my Yelp friends who use this type of service I would suggest give this place a try. One tip is I noticed on Yelp that it had the business closed on Saturday but they are open. read more

I went there after everyone's rave reviews. I have to say for the record I am not a fan of yelping. I much prefer to manage things with the proprietor, let them fix them. But in this instance, I feel so humiliated, I not only left, but felt compelled to share. After removing my polish, the clinician (mandated by owner) called the owner over. Apparently something about my nail structure gave them the idea I may or may not have a fungal infection. This was most public and I felt very shamed. I chose to leave. I appreciate that they have a standard of cleanliness, but I have "old lady toenails" and only a doctor is equipped to diagnose a fungal infection. read more

Such a great little salon! Sally did my shellac today, and we got a little festive for Christmas time! All the staff was extremely polite. They knew the names of every customer who came in the door. I went to Milan's on Monroe for the first time on the Tuesday before my wedding. I was helped by Natalie. I have never had such a positive experience anywhere in my life. She asked me several questions and told me all the possible things that could happen with my skin to make sure I was aware and didnt end up with broken out skin for my wedding. First of all, my skin didn't break out at all. Second, she SLAYED my eyebrows. They look incredible I will never go to anyone else again. I went here for the first time today for a pedicure. It's a lovely, quaint space and I had a very wonderful and relaxing experience! I assume you probably need an appointment (especially on Saturdays) because the place is pretty small - that is definitely part of the charm though! The BEST nail salon!! I love going there! They're so nice and so meticulous! The salon is very clean, the atmosphere is very relaxing and they have chocolates! Love this place! She does fantastic waxing and did a good job on my hair cut too! They don't use wax and whatever they use is pretty good with sensitive skin which is also a plus. The owner is nice, funny and knows her stuff. They prefer tips on cash. read more

I spent 4 hours at this location today. The service was outstanding. Cappuccino was served during my pedicure. The pedicure stations are amazing. There is stadium seating and your feet are comfortably positioned in a jacuzzi tub that is built in. The most comfortable pedicure I have ever had. The shop owner Sally is beautiful to deal with. So friendly and considerate. I had a Shellac manicure - which turned out great. I decided to stay to have my hair blown out and then my eyebrow threaded. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the new interior design is amazing. They will get all of my manicure, pedicure, and facial business. read more

I love this place. It's is a very relaxing and it has a spa like atmosphere. The salon is very clean and the whole staff is very friendly and welcoming. I have had manicure, pedicure and waxing done here. All the work was too notch. Prices are very reasonable. Natalie usually takes care of me but Sally the owner also has taken care of me too. They are both very friendly, warm and great at what they do. I also had my daughters 4 year old birthday party there. It was so cute. Sally and Natalie took care of the invitations, the actual party where they got their nails painted and they even took care of the cake and snack time...they have an area where the girls gathered to eat cake and open gifts. They will even put together treat bags. My daughter still talks about what a great party it was. It was a perfect party for a girlie girl and it was NO WORK for me.
