It's a fun salon and the staff seem more like family than coworkers with their interactions. I've never been disappointed with my manicures, I've also gotten full sets done that were beautiful, and Victor gives the BEST pedicures. You won't be just another dollar or number to Tracy and her staff. She is a great listener, wants to support all of her clients (I often hear her talking about following and supporting customer businesses), and runs a genuinely good business. Also, the fact that they're appointment only means you won't be left standing around as a walk in wondering when you're going to get worked on, and you won't have walk ins that throw off and cut in front of appointment times.

I've been going to this nail salon for awhile now. It's a small place with a warm vibe and…read morefriendly staff. However, I've run into a recurring issue with my current nail technician, Mia. She spends nearly an hour meticulously applying powder, shaping, buffing, and adding lacquer, but refuses to let my nails cure under the light lamp for more than 60 seconds. As a result, the lacquer starts peeling within a day or two. The ONLY time this doesn't happen is when Mia gets distracted, and I sneak extra time under the lamp--then the lacquer lasts 2-3 weeks! This issue persists whether she uses my own lacquer or the salon's. I typically get one layer, but last time, Mia insisted the peeling was due to using just one layer. So, I let her apply two layers, which made things worse. The thicker coating needed even more curing time, but she still limited it to 60 seconds, pulling the lamp away and saying, "That's enough." By the time I got home, the lacquer was already peeling! The acrylic base holds up for up to 3 weeks, but it's pointless if the lacquer doesn't last 3 days! I've had enough - - it's time to find a new salon! Friends have shared some great recommendations. Attached are photos from day 3.

My balayage was really brassy and I had a few grey stragglers on top of my head I needed to have covered up. When I walked in, the pictures online don't even do the salon justice. It is so beautiful inside, I loved the ambiance, the staff was very friendly and the free coffee didn't hurt either. Jessica was very warm and friendly, offered some suggestions on the look I was trying to accomplish and the end result was simply amazing. I've had pretty bad color experiences before, but I will definitely be sticking with Jessica as long as I can! She even massaged my head/scalp and gave me under eye gel pads to help soothe my puffy under eye area...it felt like a mini spa get away.
