My nails looked like they'd been run through a wood chipper and I needed to refresh my face.  My husband gifted me a spa day at Revive Salon in Trenton, Michigan.  I had a wonderful day getting spoiled!  Apryl gave me a perfect manicure, and Lana's pedicure was delightful. I ended my wonderful day with a facial by Kelly. Every one of them was so sweet to me, and I feel like a glamorous superstar!  My manicurist was Apryl.  She has been doing nails for something like 30 years!  She is very talented.  My nails look beautiful (see pics).  She listened to what I wanted and worked efficiently to meet my needs.  I loved talking to her, too.  I was impressed that she has so much experience but still up to date on trends.   Lana did my pedicure.  She is also very experienced.  I loved how tender she was with my feet, but she also worked on them to make sure they were super soft.  She was kind and made me feel very comfortable.  I am kind of self conscious about my feet as I haven't gotten a pedicure in a super long time, but she made me feel good about them.  I ended my wonderful day with a facial by Kelly.  Omg!  That was so relaxing, and my face feels super soft. The facial was an hour of heaven!  Kelly was informative about the products she used, but she didn't once try to sell me anything.    I love how each of them were efficient but took their time.  With all three, it was a nice balance between chatting and relaxing quiet. I highly recommend visiting Revive!  You won't be disappointed! https://www.facebook.com/therevivesalonandspa?mibextid=ZbWKwL Show quoted text

Washed it out and because it was a demi not a permanet she had to do it again. And then it still wasn't dark enough. Then she told me that my hair would not hold anymore color. What she didnt realize is I also went to cosmetology school. She did not have to do color correction and if she would have used a permanet color she wouldn't of had to do it twice. Then turned around and charged me 195.00 dollars. That's a big jump from 120.00. I will never ever go back. Amy was nice good conversation. But now I have scabs in the back of my head. Amy did such a great job she was quick, efficient and prices were great. I've gotten so many compliments that my hair looks good and asking if I cut it. I said yes but only an inch and people notice the difference. I also notice the difference whatever technique she used was defiantly top of the line. I have been going to the Hair Saloon since it opened over 15 years ago. The services I have done…read moreregularly (every 4-5 weeks) are a cut and style, coloring, and eye brow waxing. I live over 25 mins away, and while it would be so much easier to find a salon closer to where I live, I simply can't bring myself to do so. The reason is simple: excellent service for a fair price. To read a review like the one posted by Lo G is simply unbelievable, to say the least. I say this because in all the years I've been coming to the Hair Saloon, I have never seen any of the stylists, let alone the owner, ever treat a customer poorly. I have seen women come in who have had their hair screwed up from other salons, only to walk out extremely thankful that someone from Hair Saloon was able to fix them up. I've seen everything from bad hair cuts to horrible color jobs to perms gone wrong, all fixed. My ex-girlfiend used to go to the much more expensive salons in Birmingham and Royal Oak where she would pay over $150 for a style and coloring, but now only pays half that (not including tip) while looking better than those overpriced salons. With today's economic state and money being as tight as it is, it is hard to find businesses that provide quality services, let alone, at good prices. The Hair Saloon does just that.
