For example I have been a customer for about a year and always get the same service (threading eyebrows) the lady ALWAYS ask if I want to get another location done every time i come in, this can be a bit annoying & frustrating. I find that to be very disrespectful & not welcoming at all with the services provided. 2nd, there is a newer lady who I've never seen before, she is rude & always has an attitude when she threads. She threads hard where it is painful & not like the other lady's who does it with little to no pain at all. All I want is for people to understand that you are a guest & should feel welcomed, friendly and not be judged by this place.

I was quite amazed when I went in the 1st time (grand opening) and 50% off all services (Which WOW) and the service was good even though they were busy. It was Grand opening so to be expected. Then as I checked out they said we offer a 10 day guarantee. If you break a nail we will fix it for free. (Again...Wow) . I did have 1 break and needed a refill. They lived up to there word. They repaired for free no problem. Again, service was good, that was last week. Some how or another, many of my nails started to chip. 2 off completely, 3 very chipped. I use my hands a lot at work, but I didn't this should have happen. So out of nails 10 - 5 had to be repaired. I offered to pay for 1/2 of the full set as I get kinda bad and didn't want them to think I was abusing their guarantee. They again were so nice and said no problem we will take care of you. (Wow) Wesley was my tech, friendly, great attitude, and reinforced the company policy regarding the guarantee. It is about the culture of the business. I lead a very large team in a major retailer. I used my 1st experience and shared with my Managers about my experience there. Then I shared my positive experience with my entire team and about the importance of great customer service. And told the story of my experience there. I've been in the service industry for over 40 years and have lead very large teams up to 250. It is so important to set the culture, and have your team believe it, live it and deliver it. First experience - Exceptional Customer Service, Cleanliness, and Service is immaculate! MY PEDICURE IS FLAWLESS; when I say you cannot get anything better, you can't! Twin gave me the best massage ever and was just super sweet. From the moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed with kindness and an abundance of smiley faces. All the employees were polite, kind, and caring. Unfortunately, I did not have an appointment, so I had to wait for a while as they were busy on Friday morning. However, a lady came up to me every few minutes and apologized for the wait. I didn't mind waiting, and I appreciated her reassuring and sweet nature. 5 stars well deserved. Trying a new nail salon is scary, especially when you're like me...my nails are terribly over filed and paper thin. The staff was very quick to greet me and get me in a chair without an appointment. I got my nails done by Ken. He was very thorough and gentle with my nails. He didn't grind them down to nothing to put on a new set and he made sure the powder thickness and shape were uniform on all of my nails. At no point did I think he rushed me out of the place. They were also reasonably priced and I was offered a beverage multiple times throughout my service. If you're looking for a new nail salon, I recommend them. It was my first time visiting since they popped up on my Instagram and I seen the photos I said well this maybe just what I was looking for the designs were fire. I'm soooo happy after trying them my nail tech Ken was the best I gave him the image and told him freestyle and get me close to the pic. The staff was so funny and nice they all had good vibes and must I add they had drinks I'm not talking about your typical wine and water.. BABYYY I had me a strawberry margarita while getting the best nail treatment. Needless to say I found my new nail shop. The salon has a welcoming vibe and the deco is different than the usual, so it makes for a fun atmosphere. There are drinks of colorful variety , all of the staff is friendly and accommodating. Kelly is my #1. She will show a color before diving into the whole hand and every color used, they keep track of them all in your profile Kelly takes her time for the exact precision that I am so picky about. That is hard to come by at most establishments ( personal opinion ) so it's truly appreciated and I don't feel as I've wasted $. Ken was wonderful and took his time doing a great job! I was my first time there and loved it. everyone was very attentive and kind. I was even brought a drink when asked. I will definitely go back. The only negative for me is the price. While I think this is worth it and they have wonderful service (which is why I give 5 stars) I spent a little over $95 on this set. I'm used to spending a good amount of money on my nails but I think the max I've spent at other places is $85. Either way, I understand I'm buying skill and talent, so I'm okay with it, but it's just something to keep in mind. read more

I will definitely be back to see Jasmine and Tracy at Milano Spa in Spring!! Every area of the salon is sparkling clean, from the front door to the restrooms. They have excellent color selections for all of their products. Every staff member is so friendly, and the drinks are delicious - thanks to Bee! I was greeted with a smile when I walked in and promptly directed to my seat. The available colors for me to choose from was in a basket, brought immediately. They offered me a drink as I sat down. Three of us went for pedicures. It was our first visit since the salon changed ownership. It's beautiful inside and there is an amazing selection of polish. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We did not feel rushed, the techs did not push for additional services. The massages were excellent and the techs clearly took pride in their work. Great service and great job! Did my nails exactly as requested. At other places the technician will try to convince me to do something else or just not do as asked. I was told here that it is about what I like. Very refreshing. The pedicure was fantastic. I also loved the small touches. She gave me long, obtuse, thick, lumpy nails that a child could've done. I mean I'm telling you it is the worst nails I have ever had in my life or seen in my life. I don't like to complain so I just kept telling her that I wanted them shorter and referring to the photo. After four times of showing her the length and her still not getting them to the shortness I wanted/needed. I just said fine because I was already at the two hour mark on my nails. I checked out and explained to the register that I really did not like my hands but I had no time to fix them and I live far away so they gave me a small discount... I drove away and as soon as the sunlight hit my nails in the car I knew I had to stop what I was doing turn around and go back. I explained that these nails were not worth the $180 for manicure and pedicure that I had paid and they simply needed to be taken off or redone by someone else. While I was getting my nails fixed there was another lady getting her nails done by Kim and she had the same complaint about shape and length and I already knew what was going to happen. Moral of the story, I spent about three hours getting my nails done today and I will never cheat on Milano nail Spa in the Heights ever again.

Yesterday, one of my nails broke, so I asked if I could come in to have it fixed. I was told me she couldn't that day and asked me to come back the next day instead. The following day, I called ahead to make sure she would be available, and she told me yes. After I had already driven there, she called me saying she couldn't do it anymore. She claimed she was the only one who did builder gel, even though there were other employees in the salon who also work with builder gel. Instead of taking responsibility for the situation, the staff started making excuses instead of admitting their poor communication. This wasn't even the first time. I've had multiple appointments where I was scheduled, only to find out they had double-booked or suddenly couldn't see me after I had already made plans around my appointment. It's incredibly frustrating and disrespectful to customers' time. Constant cancellations, double-booking, and last-minute excuses show a lack of professionalism and responsibility.

This was my first time at Nationwide and I will absolutely be back! Someone recommended this nail…read moresalon and to go to Trish, so I set up my appointment and showed up later in the day. Unfortunately, there was an issue with water from the hospital next door so I couldn't get my pedicure. HOWEVER, Trish made sure to come back later in the day (after she'd shut down due to the water issue) just to make sure I could at the least get my ombré nails done. As a side note, she did call me and confirm this was okay before I got there. Not only was Trish very welcoming and easy to talk to, but you can tell she really values the business and her customers. I'm very picky on where I go, but Trish made this place a no brainer for me going forward. Can't wait to come back for my pedicure!
