Milano is the Dublin answer to the Pizza Express chain. I'm always wary of pizza chains but I was craving a slice or three. While not the best pizza I've had (Napoli has ruined me), it hit the spot. I wish the bottom had been a bit more crisp. Instead it needed folding or eating with a knife and fork. Four stars because while it's not the most incredible pizza I've ever eaten, it's in a great location, has outdoor seating, strong drinks, and delivers what I expected of a chain.

Great stop on our way home from the Temple Bar area for some quick pasta and pizza! Nothing fancy but great for a casual stop along the way in Dublin.

The Cesar salad was average at best. The atmosphere is good but a little cramped. The pizza was amazing ..if you want pizza come here... yummy

A Milano is a Milano is a Milano (except for the one in Galway, who's staff are all beautiful jerks). Every branch of this chain restaurant has a similar vibe, similar offers and similar prices. On my recent visit to this particular branch, I noted that it had fewer kid diners than its siblings. The staff were standoffish yet pleasant, but I imagine that had something to do with the weekend; Temple Bar was filled with drunken football fans and loud, slow-walking tourists. The food was lovely and came out quick - as always. After the sun-dried tomatoes to start; I had a pizza, while my buddy got a big substantial salad. We left full, happy and full of wine.

    Milano - Temple Bar :)

My FAVORITE Milano location - such a visually pleasing spot in the colorful Temple Bar area! Want a 'skinny' pizza?! Order the 500 calorie thin crust Leggera with a bed of rocket salad in the middle! Super hungry?! Then 'super size' your pizza by ordering a Romana pie! Want a glass of wine on the side? Five lovely italian red wines by the glass in a full size or 'mini' if you're watching your intake. I always walk away satisfied. And, whatsmore, it's a great spot for a 'date night' or a group of friends! Want another 'tip'?! Get 'Nina' to be your server, and you'll feel like royalty! How about one final tip?! Head to the adjacent IFI for a movie before or after your meal or simply 'roll' yourself out into the Temple Bar square! Extra everything please!

Buffalo mozzarella and Calabrese pizza. Wowza!!!

I was very impressed by this restaurant! The food was better than I could have expected, being outside of Italy and all. We ordered the buffalo mozzarella and the Calabrese pizza. Both were outstanding, with a thin and flavorful crust. You have to eat the pizza with a fork and knife (due to the thinness) but that seems to be the way to eat pizza in Ireland anyway. The sausage on the Calabrese pizza was top notch and delectably spicy. .There were hot red peppers on there as well. They have red pepper oil and garlic oil (wow) available too if you ask. I also ordered a side of the cole slaw and it was smokey and delightful. It was really interesting to see the cooks preparing the pizza dough right next to our table. Will definitely make it back to Milano on my next trip to Ireland.

This place shocked me!…read more I found San Lorenzo's via Yelp, so thank you Yelpers! It is one of the few places in Dublin that takes American Express cards. So you can leave home without it when you come here When we asked if they had a table they said only if you are up from the table in an hour. We were hungry so we agreed The environment is dark and tasteful and lively The wine list is not good, but the food and the staff make up for everything The avocado and caprese salad was awesome The shrimp in wine sauce was off the charts delicious The chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto was delicious and the polenta and creamed corn were spectacular The monk fish wrapped in crispy pancetta on a bed of pesto basil was amazing To top it off we had the Nutella cheesecake with Carmel sauce and gelato with biscotti crumbs on top- this was surreal!!! All this and we were done with all the food, a bottle of wine and cappuccinos in an hour and never felt rushed If you are in the mood for Italian food, come to San Lorenzo's

After finishing the starter, it took a bit too long for the main dish to come out. Once it did come out, we were kind of full from the first dish. The wife for the Zucchini Primvera. Why I'll go back: wide variety of sauces lets you satisfy any craving…read moreYou HAVE to order: the arancini (how's that for a curveball) Tony's Tip: Given the generous portion size and wide variety of sauces, if you can do a group of 4-6 you'll be able to sample a lot more of the menu. Things I liked about Sprezzatura: - whatever you're in the mood for (marinara, carbonara, bolognese...), it's probably on the menu that night - the sauces are rich/heavy. I like, but maybe not everyone will. - generous portions - super friendly service Things I wasn't crazy about: - the finish on the table left a stickiness that was annoying as we sat through our meal - the kitchen door kept slamming shut (loudly) with every staff pass-through and needs some sort of better hinge or soft close mechanism - each pasta dish was a bit overrun with sauce. I might have soaked it up with some bread, but the amount was unnecessary for the pasta alone. We ordered three pastas dishes. I actually liked the one I didn't order the most - an amatriciana-like red sauce with a little spice. My wife enjoyed the Fettucini, Nduja and Mascarpone. The Mafaldine Cashel Blue (cheese) and Roasted Walnuts, which also had caramelized onions in it, was actually not as sweet as I expected (or wanted) it to be. What we did agree on, though, was how delicious the arancini was (we went with spicy sausage). I would lead with that...but don't get carried away. The wine choices were limited, but solid. And the price was very reasonable. I'd go back again (if I actually lived in Ireland!), mostly when I have a fix for a certain flavor. There was a lot of delivery business taking place during our visit. I suspect these sauces don't travel well (no firsthand experience with that), so dine in seems like the better call to me.
