This place is awesome, service is fast and the food was super fresh and flavorful. I had the hibachi steak and crispy tuna rice. The servers were very attentive and kept my drink full the entire time I was here. Ambiance was mellow and had some nice music playing, the restaurant overall is dark and quiet, very relaxing if you don't like massive crowds

I went for happy hour on a Friday afternoon. This restaurant has a nice vibe and pretty decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they made us feel welcome. The drinks were great with a good amount of liquor. My favorite part of my meal was the short rib it was so flavorful. The happy hour prices weren't much different from the regular menu so if you are looking for somewhere with great happy hour deals like 2 for 1 drinks this might not be the place to go. The food and drinks were top notch though so it's absolutely worth a visit. I would def come back for dinner or lunch

Build you own Poke bowl

I've driven past this place a ton of times, but never considered it for a takeout lunch because the vibe felt more like a dinner spot. But today, I wanted a poke bowl. And, when I want a poke bowl, I get a poke bowl. It's nice and close for lunch, so I did an online pick up order. East system to work through, ordered before they opened, and the order was ready when I got there. Inside, it has a high end feel, nice bar area, lots of table space in the back. I did the build your own poke bowl lunch , 3 proteins - spicy shrimp, spicy crab and spicy tuna, black rice, avocado, seaweed salad, scallions, spicy Mayo, roasted peanuts and crispy wonton skins. Nice combo! A little light on the shrimp, miso soup was meh at best, but the bowl was delicious and filling. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Sashimi

Service was great food was excellent. Drinks were made perfectly. Nice interior. We ate at the bar and it was perfect.

Came here on a rainy night where I was soaked. I asked for hot tea, which is complimentary. The tea came in a regular sized tea cup (thank goodness) which the waitress kept coming by to fill my teacup. I opted for sashimi for 2 which didn't seem filling but it's surprising how fill one can be trying to eat 36 pieces of sashimi. It came with a complimentary salad or miso soup. Great service, attentative servers.

I love coming to miko. Both this location and the Plainview location are fantastic. They have great happy hour deals as well. This time we came for dinner for hibachi and our chef / cook Andy was amazing. He was very funny, and cooked everything perfectly. I opted to go with the filet mignon and short rib with fried rice. Everything was cooked exactly how I asked and tasted tremendous. We also substituted the miso soup with hot and sour soup. I also got an eel avocado roll which was delicious. Always love coming here, they have many different great dishes.

Spicy Maki

The soup was delicious! I love sushi and I've been to many places and tried different kinds. The yellowtail roll was really yummy and pretty fresh. For the salmon and tuna it tastes sweet and it's supposed to be spicy. The wasabi isn't really spicy as well, the salmon and tuna sushi just tastes really different then usual sushi I get

The restaurant is very cute and well decorated inside, and service was amazing. Our server constantly checked on us and made sure we had everything we need and that we were taken care of! The food was delicious! They had a big menu, ranging from sushi, yakitori, and bento boxes. Everything we ordered was delicious, I would recommend the ribeye and filet mignon skewers, the crispy tuna rice, and sushi was yummy too! This is a great spot to take your family, for dates, or a cool hangout spot with your friends.

Amber was patient, pleasant, and helpful in providing much-needed details about the menu. I ordered the Open Combo Skewer and he ordered the Combo Hibachi with Chicken & Shrimp, as well as two sides of Hibachi Fried Rice. The food was delicious and hot. The meat and vegetables were well- seasoned not salty. Portion size was very satisfying, definitely enough to enjoy at a later time. We usually don't leave room for dessert but today we made an exception and went all in. The Oolong Tea Cheesecake was delicate, with light flavors and a smooth texture. The Momo Musu and the Mango Mousse Bear were exceptional. We immediately enjoyed the Peach and Mango flavors, the overall presentation, and the fresh fruit and whipped cream that accompanied it. (These two are a must when you visit) I've been eyeing Mihana for a while now, and am so happy we decided to give it a try. It was well worth it. Clean and Serene environment, that would be comfortable for a lunch date or a group gathering. This was really one of the best Japanese food experiences that I've had in some time. I highly recommend this establishment, and we can't wait to return!

I had asked for several recommendations especially because we have a preggo friend on the bach. Yokohama suggested some raw fish and a cooked party tray with a few kitchen and app dishes to balance everything out. The price was very decent for the quality of the food. The fish was fresh and the food were sooo good! The sushi and rice ratio was also perfect (cause most sushi places do more rice with their rolls and I am not a fan of that!) It was awesome and I hope to bring my family into the restaurant to eat one day! The restaurant and ambiance was also very nice too!

I especially enjoyed the seafood soup, while others raved about the shrimp dumpling soup...The place is quite beautiful, and we all really had an incredible dining experience. Even though we live 40 minutes away we will definitely be back very soon. It was just that good!!! Now I have another favorite spot on Long Island for scrumptious sushi....AMEN

Disappointing Experience…read more I usually give local places the benefit of the doubt, but this sushi bar was disappointing. Walking in, the place barely even looks like a restaurant--more like an afterthought. It was almost empty except for me at the sushi bar and two people at another table, yet somehow, they still managed to mess up my order. I ordered an appetizer that never arrived. How does that even happen when there are only two tables? The waitress was completely inattentive and disinterested in her job. She was on her phone both times I called her over. Now, onto the sushi-- I get a weird vibe from fish wrapped in saran wrap, which is usually a red flag. Sushi should be fresh, against my better judgment, I ate it anyway, and I'm honestly surprised I didn't get sick. My rolls were bland. Overall, this place is unorganized and unappetizing. Plenty of other local spots to check out.

Arrived at 5:40pm, placed orders at 5:55pm, and entrees arrived at 7:05pm. They sent out about 6-7 delivery orders while we waited. We also informed the kitchen that my husband has a shellfish allergy because his dinner combo was supposed to come with shrimp shumai, and they served it with the shrimp anyways.
