They may be great at helping you if you're locked out, but if you need anything else, I'd use a different company. I've been trying to replace our lockset for the door of our condo since July. Called this company and they sent someone out to look. The tech said it's an interconnected lockset so they needed to check if they had to order it. A week goes by - no communication on if they had it, so I contacted them. They said they were checking their stock (for a week). Another 10 days go by and nothing from them, so I contact them again. They say they need to order it and it'll be about 6 weeks. So over 2 weeks of no communication...and seems no action on their part. September 2 they finally come to install the lockset. The manufacturer sent the wrong parts so could not install. They tell me they'll check to see when they can get what we need. So that same day I sent a detailed message with what we needed and we need to just get this done...since I had no idea if the office knew what was going on and/or if they were doing anything. No response until 8 days later..."We are expecting to get the parts next week and will contact you as soon as we get the parts." Over two months wasted and had to chase these guys to get ANY information from them. I ended up ordering the parts needed myself and have a different company (which is responsive) lined up to install.

We went with the cheapest quote (not a-max) thinking we were getting a bargain...after all...how hard is it to make a fob? After 3 hours in the rain dealing with the cheaper and incompetent locksmith we decided to tell him to stop what he was doing and call someone else. After going back over the list we called....we decided to read reviews and let me say...A-Max had fantastic reviews so we decided to give them a shot.... They were very professional over the phone...gave us a reasonable eta and guess what they arrived on time. Worst part of the story they had our car running in kess than 10 minutes. I am happy about this but furious about the previous guy who wasted a total of 5 hours of my life between waiting for him...waiting on him then calling a-max. So he called me asking if by any chance I know any locksmiths in the area. Luckily I know William through Facebook groups and sent him his way. He sent a tech out to him with the quickness and had him back on the road. The best part about it was it cost him half of what everyone else quoted him. It's good to know I have people around the country through networking that run stand up businesses. If you're in the area I highly recommend this company for any locksmith needs. They are some of the most knowledgeable locksmiths in the country.

Apparently the owner of Davis Lock & Safe feels he does not have to take calls from customers. I…read morerecently called and asked to speak to him in order to alert him about an employee's misbehavior, against his company. I also needed work done immediately! Not knowing who I was speaking to I did not want to go into details. The person I spoke to refused to put the call through, stating the owner would not speak to me if I didn't first tell that person what it was about. Customer Service, caring and quality has slipped into the sunset. I ended by saying I would call someone else. I Would like to post 0 stars.

I uploaded a video of the issue, and they got back to me quickly, explaining that we shouldn't open the door anymore for safety and to avoid damaging the opener (which I learned would be more costly). We got lucky and were able to get a same-day appointment. Josh was the technician and did a great job explaining everything. He replaced the spring and completed a maintenance check in under an hour. He also pointed out that our garage has myQ technology, which I didn't even realize that we can control it through the app.While it was a significant investment, it was well worth it.
