Walk-in shower glass - to ceiling
Cathy A.

I Had DT Glass measure/produce/install a 9 ft tall X 39 in wide piece of glass for my new walk-in shower (shower curb to ceiling). Very helpful and informative over the phone and in person. Professional company and staff, very smooth installation. I couldn't be more pleased!

I have an open second floor and two boys, a five year old and a 2 1/2 year old. Definitely was not going to take a chance with my kids safety so my dad recommended DT Glass. They did such a great job, it's even better than what I had in mind! These guys got this job done within several hours. They were very mindful of all the small details. Really nice people, you can trust these guys to do a great job. I highly recommend them. Five stars.

The finished product. Thanks again DT Glass for all your help!

I recently made a lamp out of an old whiskey bottle for my boyfriend. While making the lamp, I stumbled across a problem... I didn't know anyone with a glass drillbit to drill the hole for the cord. I called a few places to see if I they would be willing to do this for me and DT Glass was the first to call back. I spoke to John (?) who was extremely kind and said they would be able to drill the hole. When I asked how much something like that would cost, John told me that they would do it for free since it was such a small task. I dropped the bottle off that day (Friday) and had it back a few days later. I highly recommend them and will be definitely calling them if I ever need any 'glass' work done in the future!

This was my second bathroom shower door/panel and I can't be happier. Great product and service.

I received a response from Tim who came to the site, inspected the project and even agreed to proceed/provided a verbal estimate. Despite this, he then stopped answering my messages and calls. I assume that this project ultimately wasn't worth his time but this is a business not a dating app. Communication should be a basic requirement and they fell flat here.

I really enjoyed talking with him as did my mother-in-law. And then I never heard anything back from him. I figured he was busy so I gave him a couple weeks. A couple weeks turned into over a month because life happens and I recently sent him an email asking him if he was still interested or what happened or if he had anything for me from our meeting I don't know what happened but communication went to nothing and I feel like I was ghosted after our first meeting, which sucks because I was really excited with all the ideas that he had given me for a remodel of my kitchen that is not incredibly user-friendly at the moment.

Gencon - The plaster truly made the room cohesive. Alex helped marry two tones in opposition and tied everything together so cleanly!

Alex at Gencon truly brought my husband and I's dream home to life. He was an absolute pleasure to…read morework with--talented, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled at what he does. We initially brought Alex on to install floating LVP flooring and hardwood stairs throughout our 3,800 sq ft home in Camas, WA. Since this was our first major remodel, we had already selected and purchased the flooring before hiring him. As it turns out, we chose a newer product that's known to be very difficult to work with (and unfortunately non-returnable). Despite that, Alex approached the project with professionalism and care, taking his time to install everything meticulously--and it paid off. The floors turned out beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with the result. As we continued working together, we learned that Alex is also highly skilled in plaster work, which is no easy craft. We had a custom TV/fireplace media wall and wanted a plaster finish there, along with our primary bathroom. To tie everything together, we also decided to plaster our kitchen hood vent to bring more warmth and contrast into an otherwise very white space. Our home has a light-and-dark design theme, and Alex executed it perfectly. We're so happy with how everything turned out and would absolutely recommend Alex. I'd work with him again in a heartbeat. Photos attached--we're beyond thrilled. Our home feels like something out of a movie. Thank you, Alex, for your incredible work and for being such a great person to partner with.

Their communication of even the slightest deviation from the expected was most welcome, as was their help in deciding what might work best in the room. Lastly, Max and Alex (the men I dealt with) were always pleasant and engaging. Simply nice people.

TGR General Construction - Custom Patio Cover & Paver Patio

TGR General Construction

(49 reviews)

This is a mixed review since there is good and bad to mention. I contracted with this company to…read morereplace my siding and double decks. This wasn't the lowest priced bid, yet it also wasn't the outrageously high quotes I received from other companies. I was very excited to finally get this work done. At the same time I was working with TGR, I was also contracted with a roofing company, a painter, and a gate company. In the end, the only company I had problems with was TGR Construction Co. There are things I wasn't prepared for in this process, such as my pictures falling off the walls during the siding tear off or the cracks in the ceiling and walls created with the tear off, of which they tried to tell me all these NEW cracks (I live in this home) are due to normal settling of my home and said all houses settle with time and this is normal and not due to the siding job. I know it's not a coincidence these new and sudden 'settling' cracks appeared with the siding work. They broke through the ceiling upstairs and they did own up to this, maybe because it's hard to justify 'normal' settling with sudden stucco all over the floor. There were structural issues that arose during the project, at nobody's fault, that ended up costing me $11K more than my contract. Then I was also charged $4900 more to remove windows and have them reset. Btw, three other companies included the window removal and reset in their contract. It was considered standard for other companies. After the siding and decks were done, I was left with HVAC refrigerant lines on the ground and blocking doors and windows for my tenants, wires dangling under the deck staircase, the Radon remediation system wasn't reattached correctly and sparked scaring a HVAC technician and me, a deck rail was reset too low, refrigerant line covers were accidentally thrown out, and my daughter and I each did double sweeps for nails left behind when work was done. It took almost two months of asking for them to resolve these unresolved issues before some things were finally done. Jan 20th, three months after the crew left, I finally had the last unresolved issue handled. As a consumer, when I contract with a company, I expect to have the job done right without unnecessary stress. That did not happen here. On the POSITIVE, the crew is hardworking and really nice guys. The siding and double decks look great now. My home underwent a metamorphosis and is now beautiful and I receive compliments. I had crappy, rotting decks replaced with sturdy decks. This is the only reason I give a 2 rating instead of lower. All the mishaps, repair delays, and stood up appointments made this extremely frustrating and stressful. Could I have achieved my desired results without the frustration? I'm sure I could have with a different company. Buyer beware! Educate yourself on all steps that need to be in your contract. Make sure the removal of your windows for proper flashing is in the contract. I know A LOT of people and all my other contractors received more jobs through my recommendations. I know currently four people who are looking for a recommendation for siding, yet I can't recommend TGR Construction.

However the manufacturers service repairman would be a week out on appointments. After I reported this delay back to Hamilton's they told me not to worry they'll have a loaner sent to me by the end of the day. However, Hamilton's decided to partner with this company and therefore only gets 3 stars. (I was debating between 3 and 4). We bought a wall unit oven/microwave in 2021 that cost about $3k. The keypad went out. The error code is clear. The system notice tells you. We told the warranty people what the error code said. Extended warranty folks required I be home half a day. They arrive and tell me the oven needs a new keypad. Really?!?! Long story short, the oven is not repaired. It is now a full 2 months we have been without. We had to buy a countertop microwave, but still no oven. Extended Warranty keeps opening and closing tickets, and then stopped communicating because about 4 weeks after we started the process, the warranty expired. Now they don't think they have an obligation to finish the repair even though it started weeks before expiration. We had to order our own part and will install it ourselves. Thank you YouTube. Remedy will be to file small claims lawsuit for the value of the part and cost of the warranty. I only hope Hamilton's makes right with future customers and refuses selling this shoddy warranty product.
