Mike was lazy and did me dirty! My Tiger triumph add electronic problems and Mike stated it's definitely your battery, I diagnosed your bike. After paying a few hundred too much for the battery Mike said the bike was great and ready for pick up. Next day riding, The battery got over charged and started venting gases and smoking. I got stranded and needed a $$ rescue. After another new battery from online i bought the tiger Diagnostic tool and found the rectifier was pushing like 17v thru to the battery. The burnt batteries are Symptom not a cause. If Mike really diagnosed my bike, he would've known it was Rectifier and acted appropriately. dont trust Mike. read more

Mike is extremely insecure individual. I had to tolerate him mocking and ridiculing me for no reason. Only shop in town, needed a new front tire. When I picked it up, the front brake was out of whack. Brought it back. Picked it up, noticed the tire wasn't weighted properly (steering wheel would wiggle on left turns and it felt like I had a 400lbs. Chic on the back seat on highway). Took it back. He said "No. It's weighted perfectly." So I'm outta luck. Local Harley-Davidson dealership changes a minimum of $185 for any work. Man this hobby is getting expensive, especially with jerks that not only don't care about taking time to do work properly, but won't even stand by their work. If you value your life, don't have Mike work on it. I grew up with very insecure people, but Mike takes the cake, and is willing to lie through his teeth, while he is also mocking and ridiculing you. I feel sorry for the guy. I think the 5 star rating are fake, and just to balance out all of the one star ratings that are real. read more

I took my 03 Kawasaki Concours to Mike for repair. It did not idle, and was running a bit warm. Had water pump, thermostat, and all hoses replaced. Also had carburetors cleaned and adjusted. This was the only time in 45 years of riding that I got my bike back from a shop in worse condition than when it went in. Shoddy workmanship, missing bolt, cooling fan not reconnected, and the bleeder valve fell out of the newly installed thermostat after a mere 100 miles. Poor Mike and his "mechanic" got butthurt when I had the nerve to show a little displeasure with their service, and Mike told me not to come back. Did not need to tell me, as I would never go back. read more

Thank you Mike! Me and my husband was headed back across the US when we stopped for gas and food. When we got back on the bike my husband noticed something was off with how the bike was riding. We realized our back tire was bad. It needed replacing. I called Mike's repair and explained to Mike and he didn't have right tire to fit it but said he could order and it would be in in couple of days or if we found a tire elsewhere we could buy he would be willing to put it on for us!! YOU WILL BE SORRY FIRST I MADE AN APPOINTMENT 2 weeks in advance was told to arrive around 9:00am was there at 9:15. Left the quad for valve adjustment and ran some errands came back a 1:00 pm quad still sitting where I left it went in and asked if he was going to get to it he told me I was next I waited in my truck for 2 hours now 3:00pm he closes at 5 so at 3:30 I loaded up my quad went in and told him I was going to a reputable shop. He was sitting inside doing nothing. His shop/office is a dump shit all over. small repair area again a f/n mess. His reply was ok that's it. this guy is a jerk. Also during my wait another customer was waiting. while waiting a lady from the boat shop ran into his trailer. He also dropped his Harley off at 9am. Did 1300.00 in repairs to tune it up when it had a blown head gasket. Took over 8 weeks to even look at the bike after I brought it back in. Mike told me he would give me a deal on the repair. His estimate was way more expensive than the local GOAZ shop, so that was untrue. Got the bike back with the fairings off and the fuel line disconnected. I will avoid. read more

I had an issue with my clutch switch. Mike came out and helped me out, no charge, you could tell he was just happy to work on bikes. He also showed my how to find and read the tread indicator on my tires, turns out my rear needed to get replaced, good thing he pointed that out! Mike is a trustworthy guy running a great bike shop. His shop provides personal service and a small town experience backed by extensive experience and an obvious love of motorcycles. He identified why my bike was killing batteries in less than 1 hour, when two other shops had failed to even find the problem! My second motorcycle I took him had been in storage for 2 years. When I put it in storage, I had not known about needing a fuel stabilizer! This would have been the perfect opportunity for a dishonest mechanic to rack up charges for "damage" caused by rotting, old fuel. Not Mike!! He drained the old fuel, checked everything over and reported her to be in perfect condition. I'll never take my bikes anywhere else as long as I live in Flagstaff! read more

My fiance and I decided to ride our Harley's to the Grand Canyon and on our 3rd day discovered my back tire was bad. We had just pulled into Williams, AZ and went to a local shop there, don't remember the name but the guy is an old school biker who was really helpful but didn't have a tire. He referred us to a guy in Flagstaff and called him to see if he had a tire. I was worried because it was getting late and I wasn't sure he was going to be there but he was and said he'd wait for us. We rode down and sure enough he waited for us where he changed my tire and worked a bit fixing something else on my bike. What else can I say but the hospitality was just awesome. We were both so taken aback by the owner and his mechanics friendliness that I wish we lived closer so he could work on our bikes. This is the type of bike shop you can trust. Because of the this and just the wonderful experience we had in Arizona we hope to move there one day. read more

He took a month to repair my '78 SR500 Yamaha. It made only 130 miles before the camshaft sprocket fell off. When I finally got the bike home to WA state, ($700 to ship it), what wasn't missing or broken was installed finger tight. Beware!
