They said no, it was not on the work order. I had requested that they make the bike "road worthy" once again. Seemed odd that that would not include a check of the gear mechanism. My issue wasn't that it wasn't repaired, but that it was never looked at, which I thought would be a routine part of "road worthy" service. They said I could bring it in again on the weekends when they take all comers on a first come first served basis to have it looked it. The lesson here is make no assumptions. You must be very clear and explicit in what you ask them to do. Do not assume they will take the initiative.

Both of them were very polite and got me the ride bike for the three hour ride that I have planned.Flagstaff was wonderful with a lot of great trails and fun street riding. The weather was great in the low 70s and the bike seat was comfortable with a water bottle attachment and a the nice rack on the back. I will rent from them again.

Learned a ton about the landscape, geology, biodiversity, and how to survive in the back country (def would not have survived on my own for a bunch of different reasons). We are two sisters in our 70s who wanted to do some hiking in the Grand Canyon to honor our parents…read morewho honeymooned there. I was the less experienced hiker and wanted my sister to be able to enjoy the hike without worrying about me. So, I hired Four Seasons Guides for a day hike in February. We had a wonderful experience, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Our guide, Steve, was charming, knowledgeable, very experienced, and took very good care of us. We had our own packs and poles, but he had some on hand just in case. Breakfast fruit and muffins were provided as well as a hot lunch set up as a picnic and snacks for the trail. My sister was anxious to get on with the hike, and I was always stopping to look at the view or ask Steve some random question about canyon geology or history (which he always knew the answer to). Somehow, due to his expertise and great people skills, we both came away thinking we each had the perfect day. Steve took away all the worry about the weather, route, wildlife (there were elk on the trail and several donkey trains passed us) and made the hike much more fun and interesting. Also, other experienced local hikers that we met on the trail let us know that Four Seasons Guides were the best and we were in good hands. If you want a fun, worry free day I highly recommend them.

Awesome people and awesome shop! Owner is Robbie and his dog is Zoey. So thought I bought cheap…read morebindings but Robbie helped me realize my bindings were step-through rear- entry bindings that allow me to quickly get in/out of board without having to undo/redo straps each run. For 10 years, I've never had a more efficient time boarding until Robbie taught me how to use my bindings properly. I also needed replacement discs that he didn't have so he called another shop that had them in stock and sent me their way. Before leaving, we talked winter sports and Snowbowl tips like the best place to park (Lot 4). I bought a quick machine $5 wax and stomp-pads. If you can't tell; Robbie and employees care more about the people in front of them than the sale!
