Still, no one has responded to my request for a copy of the policy that prohibits Caliber from repairing vehicles when the funding comes directly from the consumer. Caliber informed me in North Suffolk, VA, that they could not fix my truck because GEICO had deemed it a total loss. I subsequently told them I was willing to pay for the repairs myself, either by providing a check for the full amount or by using my credit card, whichever they preferred. However, they firmly stated that they could not proceed with the repairs because the funds were not coming from GEICO, which they claimed violated their policy and contract with GEICO. I requested a written copy of this policy multiple times at the Caliber Collision location on Shoulder Hill Rd. in North Suffolk, VA. Still, they never provided me with any documentation or portions of the contract that clearly state this policy.  They ignored the request.  I felt this situation represented discrimination based on the source of funds for the repair services.  They urged me to remove the vehicle from their facility. Under duress, I had to remove it from Caliber in Suffolk, VA, stating the insurance company would not cover the repairs. However, I told them again to go ahead and fix the vehicle because I would be paying for all the repairs, but they still refused. Under duress, I removed the vehicle from Caliber and contacted another repair center. That shop accepted my funds without issues. It has been a very disappointing experience with Caliber. I don't know if I can decompress from this terrible experience soon enough. They ignored my plea for a copy of their policy and my plea to repair the vehicle. In addition, I was forced to take my truck, which was unsafe for road operations, but I had no other choice. What is even more disturbing is that they insisted on conveying to me that they could repair the vehicle only if GEICO paid for the repairs, yet they would not accept my funds, even though they are the same as the insurance company's. This whole ordeal sounds discriminatory based on the source of funds and has left a terrible memory that will be hard to forget. I am still requesting that a copy of the Caliber policy stating the above be sent to me via email.  If the policy is accurate, it needs to be corrected or amended. It is hard to believe Caliber would have such a policy that refuses to provide services to members in a community that lacks the resources or the cloud of insurance companies' deep pockets. They take weeks to get to your vehicle and when you check on the status they tell you the machine said he will give a call whenever it gets in the garage. So unprofessional. They don't fix what they say they can. Lies on the report sheet. Will never take a vehicle there no more!

I think they are a family owned business; which I love because they have always taken car of my lady & her family when I am out of town or busy. I never write reviews but I had to make time today and show my appreciation for their work and service. Last night, grandmother car stopped in the middle of the road. I was traveling out of town and they couldn't figure it out. Had them tow the car to Suffolk Auto & just as i suspected one the terminals were loose. Simple, easy fix. No charge. So i tipped the mechanic that did the work. Some shady business would have over charged or made up some foolishness to make money. Great Job Suffolk Auto and I appreciate you guys!

Main Street in Suffolk, VA, and I especially want to recognize Service Representative Baconta Buffalow for going above and beyond. After noticing my driver's side rear tire was low, I filled it and discovered a nail embedded in it. On top of that, my front driver's side tire had an inoperative TPMS sensor. I had an important appointment about 40 minutes away and very little time to spare after work. I stopped by RNR Tire Express hoping they might be able to help on extremely short notice. Not only did they assist me--they exceeded every expectation. Mr. Buffalow listened to my situation, understood the urgency, and immediately coordinated with the technicians to take care of my vehicle. While inspecting my tires, they also discovered internal damage in the tire with the faulty sensor that would have caused a dangerous failure if left unaddressed. Thanks to their thoroughness, they likely prevented a much bigger problem. Despite the last-minute request, they completed all the needed work quickly and professionally. The pricing was more than fair--especially considering the urgent timing--and they even applied a military discount without me asking. I left with peace of mind, safe tires, fully functioning sensors, and tremendous appreciation for the entire team. I highly recommend RNR Tire Express in Suffolk, their skilled technicians, and especially Mr. Baconta Buffalow, who made the entire experience smooth, efficient, and stress-free.
