I had the bacon egg and cheese and pizza empanadas: Hands-down, the best empanada I've ever had in my life! The dough is so soft and flaky in the filling ratio is simply PERFECT. They have a variety of sauces to choose from, and I got the garlic sauce, which was a perfect pairing with the empanadas. I also had the strawberry dragon fruit drink that was really tasty as well. The merch is also too stinkin' cute!!! I need a tumbler on my next visit. This is one of those places that you truly have to experience for yourself. Amazing empanadas. I have been looking all over charlotte for something like what we could get in Miami. This place does not disappoint.

So excited to see this place open up! The staff was super friendly, and they had a ton of both savory and sweet flavors. I've been here twice now, and each time I haven't been disappointed! It's a brand new restaurant that's family owned, and operated with hopes of becoming bigger and growing, and with how they're doing these empanadas, I don't think they'll have any problem with that! First time I went I had their regular shredded beef, and shredded chicken empanadas. And with their signature sauces, they were very good! The second time I went, I tried their beef with red wine empanada, and it's my new favorite one. I honestly think I'm spoiled now because I'm gonna underestimate every other empanada I eat from now on In addition to those flavors, they have dessert flavors, which are extremely delicious. The brownie and Nutella flavor is my favorite, while my mom loves the guava and cheese. They even have huge cups of Tres leches, and other desserts. Finally, they do a great job with combos, and they even have merch that you can buy, I'm curious because I really like to try the imported Colombian coffee. I finally made it in for a "cheat" lunch/dinner. I have been eagerly awaiting their opening since the "coming soon" sign went up. It did not disappoint. I bought the six empanada box with lofty hopes of sharing leftovers with my wife when she gets home. There are no leftovers. The service was awesome. I sampled (read devoured every last crumb) of the spicy beef, carne mechada, choriqueso, BBQ, ground beef, and tres leches. The sauces were also amazing. The prices were more than reasonable for the incredible quality. Each was literally oozing with flavor. About that oozing, you will need lots of napkins. I can't recommend this enough for a quick, flavorful meal--- though I do recommend more temperance than I exercised today. read more
