Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Only one server on duty; slow but very friendly. Food was good but limited. Most diners were there for burgers and frites.

Let me start off my saying the restaurant itself is very cute. The outside catches your eye and the inside is very cozy with a large bar. The service was fantastic. The waiter was very helpful and answered all our questions. The shrimp appetizer was good, as was the wine. However, both our steaks weren't great. I ordered mine medium and it was very dry. My fiancé wasn't a fan of his either. Said it was dry and lacked flavor.

No complaints! I was here twice in one week. First time I stopped in to get a glass of wine on the way from Old Montreal to downtown. I also needed some water and they kept it full! I thought it was more of just a wine bar, but the bartender/server said they have good steak. A couple days later, I was working late and decided I needed to eat and felt like a steak. I thought I'd give this place a try, this time for their steak. It did not disappoint. The fries on the other hand were boring as a side. But I was there for the steak. And more wine, of course. The steak was great. 7oz, just enough. And cooked exactly how I like it (after putting it back on for another 65 seconds). And it was super tender! Gotta love a steakhouse that knows how to cook a steak! Service was friendly. I sat at the bar and enjoyed speaking with the employees and patrons, alike. I would say is the seats that are bolted to the ground at the bar are wayyyyy too close to the bar. And since they are connected to the ground, you can't move them to a comfortable position. Aside from that and the fries... I'd totally come back. Maybe there's a vegetable on the menu next time.

Was walking around Old Port and just happened to stumble in Mignon and boy am I glad I did. While I didn't eat dinner, I did order a drink and apps - Salted Honey Espresso Martini, the best cauliflower I've ever had, and some high quality olives. Such a simple yet delicious stop. Our server was really great - he explained everything thoroughly and was attentive. The ambiance was also nice - while the restaurant is small, there is plenty of natural light, mirrors, and hanging plants making it a really cool space.

Service was fine. Restaurant was ridiculously hot; could barely enjoy the good food. Steak frites were good- nothing special, but good.

My husband and I walked in on a Friday night and while it was busy, we were still able to get a table. We ordered a variety of bites to enjoy, including the seafood poutine which was a very generous portion! The Octopus was cooked perfectly and we really enjoyed the sauce it was served with. The tartare was delicious as well. Everything was high quality and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and efficient, but we didn't feel rushed by any means.

The freshness and distinctive quality of these delicacies make Pincette an emerging staple of the area. Paired with a list of Canadian wines, this is a great spot for pairing Quebequis cold climate varietals with the delicate flavors of local seafood. The environment has a "medieval cozy" vibe, with exposed stone walls and contemporary design details. An excellent establishment for seafood lovers.

The service was impeccable from start to finish. Several servers assisted us throughout our meal, including the person I believe is the owner. We ordered a bottle of the house wine, which was a delightful Cabernet. Our appetizers were served quickly, and although they were out of the pollo Toscana, the owner recommended the ravioli, which was wonderful. Everything is clearly homemade, and they even have a menu to order items to cook at home. Additionally, they were cognizant of allergies and communicated any possibly issues of cross-contamination. It was wonderful to have an authentic restaurant experience in a place that normally caters to tourists. I highly recommend Salumi Vino if you are craving Italian cuisine in Montreal.

For starter, I shared polpetta, the veal meatballs (2 for CAD$18). The waiter warned us it would take a bit longer to come out. The meatballs had good seasoning, but it was not hot!? We found it weird that if they took so long to make it, why was it cold inside? For pasta, I had the papardelle con ragu CAD$36. The pasta was al dente, very delicious. I recommend this dish! I also tried the ravioli con manzo CAD$34. This ravioli had braised beef inside. I honestly had low expectations because I don't usually care for ravioli. The flavor was good, and the beef was not dry. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. Bathroom inside to the right. Indoor + outdoor seating. Passed the vibe check.
