Mighty Meals SOUNDS good in theory but the execution of this good idea is not there- these tiny fridges are only located outside of school entrances so you can never get a meal really- kids take them within 5 minutes- no locations near elderly or senior centers like Iona or St Albans- cant review the food- cant get it!!! read more

I was getting a bit bored with their menu and frustrated with their limited delivery services. We decided to try out Mighty meals and i've got to say that i'm SUPER happy we did. Being local, the food arrived SUPER fresh. Ordering was also very easy. I love that I was able to order on a Thursday and receive my meals that Sunday morning! Both my fiancé and I work long hours at work, and when there is little time to cook, we were really looking for healthy, fresh, quick, affordable, and delicious meals for the week, and MightyMeals definitely fits all of those criteria. They also delivered directly to our door and provided tracking and updates when they were on their way to our apartment which was super helpful. I've been ordering from Mighty Meals for a month now. The meals are packaged well, fresh and delicious. I'm someone that doesn't have time to cook dinner during the week so these meals are perfect. I used to pick up dinner from restaurants Monday through Friday. Now I have Mighty Meals and I can't stress how fresh and great they taste and they're less expensive then restaurant to go orders. I can recommend the Beef Bulgogi, Garlic Teriyaki Flank Steak, Zesty Turkey Meatloaf and the Fun-Fetti Protein Bites. I look forward to trying the Citrus & Herb Baked Chicken and the Blackened Salmon & Cauliflower Mash. Unfortunately I can't eat cheese or shellfish so that eliminates half the menu for me. Tried Mighty Meals last week. The pros are the meals are very delicious. You can tell they use quality ingredients and the flavors are well thought out. And I found the portions to be large, especially for lunch. I could easily split a meal into two servings. The con for me is that the meals are prepped on Saturday, meaning the food is already a day old when you get it on Sunday. Think about it - would you eat chicken or fish you cooked on Saturday on Wednesday? That's four days old so to me the meals would only be good for about two days, and that made the service not worth it for me. read more

This review is for the Norther VA area. The meals are well made and have good flavor. My husband loves the chicken wings (all flavors). I especially like all of the steak meals (their steak is awesome), the bacon cheddar burger, the tacos, the BBq beef and the fajita bowls (all protein types). So overall I would say we are satisfied with most of the meals and we are very appreciative of the amount of options. Meal ratio: Let me say first that the calorie count is geared towards a daily1600 calories. There are no options for a smaller calorie count. So for those of us who don't consume as many calories you can split some of the meals into 2, but not many lend themselves to splitting. The ratio of rice/orzo/sweet potatoes overwhelms the amount of protein and veg. In some cases the amount of veg is negligible. We've resorted to ordering a separate "extra" veg order in order to get a vegetable at all. I find myself throwing away the overwhelming amount of carb for at least half the meals. I have measured how much rice and/or sweet potatoes comes in some meals and have found an absurd 2 full cups per meal. Maybe ok if you are bulking up. Quality: Quality control is usually good, but there are also some misses. For example usually the bacon cheddar burger comes with 2 slices of bacon or 1 slice of bacon cut in 2 .... sometimes.... other times it comes with an inch of bacon or maybe 2 inches if you are lucky. Chicken enchiladas are very dry with a very small amount of sauce. Have you ever had an enchilada without sauce? Yuck, just dried chicken with a dry wrap. Delivery: We were getting the meals delivered but opted instead for pickup at the gym due to amount time it took to get delivery, at least until Covid hit. The meal delivery will give you a window of time they will be at your house. And then, before that time elapses they are already moving it up 2 or even 4 hours. We've had meals delivered as late as 7:00PM, which really stinks when they start the window at 7:00 AM. For the most part the meals come between 2-5 PM, even though the starting window was 7:00 AM. Means you are tied to your house at the mercy of the delivery. Or you can put a cooler full of ice on your porch and they will put the delivery in there, if it fits, and if it doesn't seep in to the food itself (which has happened). When the delivery arrives, the driver does not ring the door bell nor do they text you that they have delivered. So be prepared to find that your meals were sitting outside for hours. Help Requests: I have NEVER gotten a response back from any of the support tickets I've put in. There is literally no way to get in touch with anyone directly. No phone and no email address. At this point, after submitting several help tickets and never getting a response from the company, my only recourse is a yelp review (which is why I'm posting such an extensive review). I used to tell everyone about mighty meals, but not so much anymore and mainly for this reason alone. I would have given a 4.5 stars for the food, but the other issues, especially the lack of response from the company pushed it down to 3 stars (and I almost changed it to 2 stars as I was writing the review and started to get irritated that a yelp review is the only way I can voice the issues I've had with this company). This is a good meal service with good pricing, but watch out for those major irritants (delivery, quality, ratio of food), and most of all be prepared for the lack of response from the company. They do care about the food, just not the customer. read more

Wonderful! I've been ordering food from them for the past 3 weeks and all the food is delic! The service excellent! I'd highly recommend. I order about 10 meals a week so they are delivered with no hassle. It is so nice bring a healthy meal to work or coming home to one when life is fast paced. It's so much better than a take out diet. I've used 3 other local food deli every services and by far this is the best. My nutritionist recommend MMs to me. I will be OOT for the next few weeks. I'm looking forward to getting back to their food. My only suggestion is more low carb/KETO options and I'd give them a 5. Also, a couple of bulk cooked veggies would be nice too. I ordered Mighty Meals after extensively reviewing their website for their delivery areas. As of the time of this writing (May 18), their website says "Delivery Area is East of Route 15 & North of Route 234 to Washington DC. Maryland delivery is limited to inside the Beltway. For all other inquiries please contact us." I live in Silver Spring, Maryland, which is firmly inside the Beltway. I placed an order on Wednesday, May 10, for $120 worth of meals to be delivered on Sunday, May 14. I did not make time to prepare my meals for the upcoming week or buy groceries, as I was relying on Mighty Meals' meal preparation delivery to happen. On Saturday, May 13 at 3:42pm, someone from Mighty Meals emailed me saying " I believe we spoke on the phone the other day but wasn't aware you were in Maryland. We cannot do deliveries to Maryland. Is there another address or pick up location we could take your order? If not we can refund your order." I responded two minutes later, with the language from their website, confirming that my delivery address adhered to their delivery area. I received no response until I emailed again, asking for an update, at 6:38pm. At 6:41pm, someone from Mighty Meals replied "We will refund you on your order. And just eliminate MD on website completely thanks." I responded at 6:49pm, asking if I could pick up the order somewhere in the DC area instead. I received no response. I emailed again at 6:57pm, specifying that I could pick up the meals at a metro-accessible location. No one responded. I woke up early Sunday, May 14, and emailed them at 6:51am, hoping to pick up the meals I had ordered, and recounted the entire situation in a brief paragraph. At 6:53am, Mighty Meals replied, "You're getting a refund sorry for the inconvenience". Mighty Meals processed by refund on Monday, May 15, and I received my refund on Wednesday, May 17. Mighty Meals caused me a great inconvenience due to their lack of attention to detail in the ordering process, and most importantly, the faulty information on their website that remains on there as I write this review. I ordered from Mighty Meals BECAUSE they could deliver to my home. I would not have used this service had I known they do not, in fact, deliver to Maryland inside the Beltway. When I offered alternative solutions (taking a cue from their initial email) so that I could receive the meals I ordered and paid for, I was dealt with very shortly, was never given a contact name or opportunity to speak by telephone, and was given a remedy that I did not want. This was an extremely negative experience, and I would not recommend Mighty Meals to other customers based on this experience. I did not get the chance to try the food, which is unfortunate, and I have had to spend more money this week "eating out" instead of using the meal prep delivery service I had planned on. I am deeply disappointed in this experience, and I hope Mighty Meals corrects the information on its website ASAP and treats its future customers with more care than they did with me. read more

I've been using mighty meals steadily for the last 6 weeks and I have noticed quite a difference not only in my body composition, but my eating habits as well. The meals taste good and they use quality ingredients. I eat many of my meals cold due to the nature of my job. The big difference between quality meat and poor quality meat is how it tastes cold. The biggest thing I have gained from using Mighty Meals is a re-education in nutrition. These meals are packaged with all of the nutritional information. This has provided me a basis for what a portion size should be and what the macros should be in a quality meal.
