Great space!! Lots of room to spread out and enjoy some really good beer! They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and lots of beers to choose from so you are sure to find something you enjoy. They also have small bites but usually have a food truck as well

Stopped by for an impromptu lunch with my Lovely after a doctors appt in Waltham. Taqueria Mariana taco trailer on site. WOW tacos & a quesadilla to eat with tasty Cloud Candy to wash it down.

Mighty Squirrel in Waltham is one of my favorite breweries in the Boston area! The indoor area is huge and outdoor space is great for dogs! So many options for beers on tap from IPAs to Sours to Stouts. My favorite is the seasonal Costume Contest Milk Stout and my boyfriend loves the classic Cloud Candy IPA. They also have a ton of board games, a coffee bar, and rotating food trucks (on Sunday there was a Grilled Cheese truck). Staff is so friendly and quick!

The vibe is perfect for a brewery!

The service it top notch. Everyone can give you the scoop on all their beers. The interior is really cool and inviting, a great ambiance!

This was a little bit of a hike for me but worth it. There is a location right next to Fenway that I will check out next trip. The staff was super friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. They have some food on their menu and depending on the night there may be a food truck. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating would make it a great place to bring a large group! Loved the Cloud Candy IPA and also had to the runners high in honor of the Boston Marathon!

I stopped by here earlier today by myself for some drinks. I had actually found out about Mighty Squirrel Brewing only a couple of days prior as I happened to buy one of their beers in Trader Joe's. Whenever I saw that they were in the same town that I was staying in, I decided to give it a try. Mighty Squirrel is a massive place with all of their brewing equipment in plain sight whenever you walk in. Everything inside felt bright and clean and they had tons of different seating options including a bar, tables and more. Then the outside had a patio with string lights and plenty more seating. Whenever I go to a new brewery, I often get a flight of beer but at Mighty Squirrel they don't do flights and only do 7 oz pours instead. So on this day I decided to go with three 7 oz pours and chose the Cloud Candy IPA, Johnny Hammertime (Triple New England IPA) and then the Field to Pint (Pale Ale). For my first beer I tried the Cloud candy IPA which was strong and hoppy from start to finish with a lingering bitter flavor. Second was the Field of Dreams which had a crisp first taste which was followed by a pleasing finish with a flavor profile that I don't know how to explain. Last but certainly not least was the Johnny Hammertime which had a little bit of sweetness to me followed by some major hops and then a lingering bitterness confirming you had indeed just drank a triple New England IPA. Out of the bunch I think that the Cloud Candy IPA was my favorite. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. The beers were good and I loved both their space and the fact that they had a food truck outside.

Sad to demote to 3 stars, but it must be updated... until they can do better or respond. As a proud local of the establishment I've been singing their praises for years. So let's start with the positives before acknowledging the misses. PROS - Their beers are fun and love the rotating seasonal flavors! - Staff are nice. I accidentally knocked over a small pour glass while sitting at the bar due to the glassware's top heavy shape. The bartender cleaned up the spill and topped off my glass. - This is a go to place to meet up with friends and I enjoy the window peering into Central Rock's Bouldering gym next door. - They have board games on the side available for you to play in varying levels of completeness. (i.e. Guess Who is missing a lot of people.) - Lovely outdoor patio space for warmer months. - Rotating events during the week and they seem to be active partnership with Waltham at events (i.e. Waverley Oaks gym next door) Tues - Bonsai Bar every so often that seems to sell out quickly Wed - Running Club & Trivia Thurs - Live Music - Rotating food trucks every day of the week which is exciting! CONS ordered by level of level of contempt they've induced. - Beers To Go / Online GoTab ordering is BROKEN. I wasted a lot of time placing the order thinking it would be ready. Then I went in to try and pick it up the next day only to see my card was charged but no email was generated. Of course this could be a glitch in their system. Management basically told me, "Sorry too bad and call your CC company to sort that out. You can order it again here and we will get it for you." So I had the displeasure of disputing this $101 charge on top of REBUYING this in person and running late for another meeting. I will NEVER use their online ordering until they fix. - Live music nights make it so uncomfortable and loud to talk to people. - Weekly Trivia is the worst I have ever experienced. I can't believe people come here in droves for lazy trivia where we barely found a seat 20 min before trivia began officially. Not necessarily the digital version is bad but it's so dang slow where you count down to even answer the question. It's ~1 hr and basically you crawl through 10-15 random questions with no theme. - No beer flight option is a travesty given the $7 charge for small pour. - Website is NOT always accurate for events/food, but that is probably the case with all businesses. https://www.mightysquirrel.com/foodtrucks https://www.mightysquirrel.com/eventcal I will still stop by here and try their seasonal flavors or meet up with people given this is the closest brewery. However, I'll also be warning folks away from the online orders and trivia while looking for competition to try.

Great beer selection and great atmosphere. Food options seem hit or miss, prepackaged guac for example, but not a deal breaker.

Are dogs allowed inside during this heat?

Sorry, with the new guidelines, dogs are only allowed on our Patios. Thanks

Are dogs allowed inside?

Unfortunately not but the patios have heaters and there is also an outdoor fire pit... it's cozy :)

Where can I find a music and good truck schedule?

They post it on their Instagram!

Does Mighty Squirrel allow well-behaved dogs inside?

Hi! We LOVE dogs! They are always welcome on our two large size patios (1600 sq ft and 800 sq ft). However, because of Department of Health’s food safety concerns, we don’t… Read more

Interesting local beer on tap and other local sourced drinks. The food however, was disappointing. Chicken and Waffles: waffles were incredibly sweet. Like dessert sweet. Made worse by hot honey topping and a sweet breading on the chicken. First bites were good but you get over sweeted pretty quick. OG chicken sandwich was so, so, dry. Same very sweet fried chicken, dry slaw that didn't add any flavor, a few pickles that helped a bit, but no real flavor. The chicken (on the waffles too) was hammered...fried till super dry. Comes with a side of potato chips but they weren't hot or seasoned. The big pretzel app was good. Beer cheese was ok, honey mustard was better. Sorry we didn't enjoy ourselves more. Nice people and very good service.

The day I went there was a band playing and there was special ticketed event that forced us to leave (no big deal as we had more than enough time). The space is huge, however compartmentalized, and there's plenty of outdoor seating. Because of its warehouse size and no sound proofing when the band was playing it was incredibly loud with tons of reverberation. The mezzanine is adults only which is helpful as it's right next door to an indoor sports facility and there is no shortage of kids here. Pizza was decent, cooked correctly and really hit the spot after a couple of beers. They utilize an "order at the bar and get a text when your food is ready" system. You then go up to the open air kitchen area and get your food. The beers are serviceable by today's standards with the porter being my favorite. The lagers were also pretty good. Like most folks on Yelp I was surprised by the mandatory 20% gratuity (almost $2 per beer). As someone that ordinarily tips 20-25% in a sit down restaurant I'm a little confused as to how in a place where you order at the counter, pick up your own food and bus your own table the 20% is earned? These situations usually get 10% gratuity from me since I'm doing more than 50% of the work.

They have good concepts but the taste or execution falls flat for the two I tried. The place was not too crowded but there were quite a few people there. It was around 8:30 when we came in so a bit later than the usual dinner time. The menu is quite extensive with a wide variety of dishes and even barbecue platter options. We ordered the smoked chicken wings to share - they came with a dry chili rub and 2 sauces - bbq and a Carolina mustard sauce. They were good tender tasty. For my main dish I ordered the blackened salmon with salad. The salmon was cooked well crispy on the outside and tender flaky inside. It came with deviled eggs too - which were ok - a bit spicy. The salad had cucumbers tomatoes and onions, but they were such tiny pieces and not a lot of- hard to find lol among all the greens. They should have either added more or just cut them in bigger pieces. They were literally like a few millimeters wide - almost microscopic!!
