Nothing to write home about here. The food came cold and was overpriced for the quality. The tables are covered with sticky plastic coverings and are just long community seating rather than individual tables. I don't really want to sit down and eat at a place where strangers are hearing my conversations and vice versa. Plus these tables didn't seem to be cleaned after each use so got dirty/greasy quickly. The Mighty has fallen. Perhaps the pandemic took its toll on another Austin favorite. This particular location has declined in quality and service. The tables, floors and bathrooms were dirty. The trash cans overflowed. The once unique drink tumblers are now styrofoam throw aways. The novelty of an automatic hand washing station seemed tired/worn and void of the "Clean hands" stickers for the kids. It's the little things that become the tell of a declining business. As far as food - Our burgers were well-well done. The meat patty was dry with crisp edges. We even got the wrong toppings on our order. The side onion rings seemed like a half order at full price. All in all, the burgers were no different than any other fast food you may find in a chain. Sorry to see this one go to the wayside. read more

I've been a fan of Mighty Fine since they opened. Service has always been great even during COVID-19 with cursbside pick ups. They get a big fat F today! Placed our usual order online & sent a text with our curbside position when we arrived and when we got home, found out that we got someone else's order! So we had to go back to get our order. Total service fail! So I replied to the email the "owner" provided below and 10 days later I got crickets! The service fail continues. read more

Honestly more of a 7/10 restaurant to me, but I still enjoyed their food enough. I just thought it tasted like a typical burger joint food I guess, but it was pretty filling and I liked the price of the food so there ya go. It wasn't like fast food at least. Pretty good burgers at very reasonable prices. Stopped by here for a quick grub before ACL. Ordered the quarter pounder cheeseburger with bacon and fries to share. The cashier who took our order didn't seem like she wanted to be there, or it felt like she was trying to rush me through the order. Not cool, but whatever. The order didn't take long to prepare and to be brought out to our table. My burger was pretty good, but I wasn't a big fan of the fries because they were kind of soggy. The men's restroom was pretty cool because it was a one-way window from the inside where you can look out into the dining room. Wouldn't mind coming back here at all. read more

I was very impressed by the service that this place provided. My parents were in town and we were looking for some burgers to go without the fast food flavor. This was a great choice. We placed a large to go order at the counter and they had such an efficient way to the process that our entire order came out correct and separated by order. The food came out quickly. Just tired of austin attitudes. Am 73 and have lived all over the world. Ordering fast food in Austin is a joke. Told can only order in person or online not on the phone. Huh!!! there is always some problem. It just not that hard to order a hamburger. And most of them in Austin are overpriced and not that great. Have owned, operated several businesses. Customer is always right, make things simple. Be courteous. Train your staff, Raise them if you need to. Take a two hour drive to Houston and experience good food, reasonably priced with good service. read more

I'm not in this part of town often but was looking for a place to get a burger that wasn't Wendy's. I wasn't disappointed. I got the 1/2 lbs cheeseburger with the jalapeno mayo and added bacon. I guess I wasn't thinking because it was bigger than what I expected, or needed. It was good! I also liked that they didn't skimp on the onions or pickles. I also got the "Frings". I knew since I probably wasn't going to be back in the area any time soon, I probably should check out both. They were good! Unfortunately I think I got the last of the batch because they were a little dry and overcooked like they'd been sitting there for a bit. Their housemade ranch definitely helped make it less dry and it had a good flavor. I tried to do the curbside delivery but it didn't go as planned. I put in the order about what vehicle I would be in and I text them when I arrived as instructed. A few minutes later I got a text saying my order was ready. But after 4 minutes and nobody bringing my food, I decided to go in and get it. It was sitting there, ready...and my receipt had my vehicle info next to the name so I'm not sure what they were waiting for. Mighty Fine is officially my favorite burger spot ever. And I love burgers. Theirs are just the best--soft buns, thick, juicy patties, fresh veggies. The fries and onion rings are divine. Love the way the restaurant is laid-out with the picnic tables. My kids love the free pac man and Donkey Kong. The shakes are divine. It's always clean. The burger is huge ! I went with the half pounder and it was juicy, fresh and plenty to eat. The fries were awesome , crispy crinkle cut and perfectly crunchy. The milkshake didn't last long but was made with delicious real chocolate ice cream, ya know the real fat real delicious kind !! Great service , used my name and came out quick and hot ! A fountain drink purchase comes in a reusable cup that saves you money if you bring it back on your next visit. There are tons of burger joints these days. Realistically, there are only so many ways to make a good burger. Main thing is to keep everything fresh, and it's all good. On thing I can't stand is the really small burger size of some of the kids meal or the cheaper burgers where it's like 1/8 of a pound. The breading would be more than twice the size of the meat. This place, the kids meal automatically comes in the 1/4 lb, so it was a good deal for my son. Overall, it's nothing that truly stands out, but we left the place happy. I have been going to mighty fine burgers since they opened in South Austin. And up until a few months ago I had never been disappointed in the food or in the service. Today my son and I went to eat lunch there and he ordered the regular burger with mayo only. The amount of mayo on the burger was so much that it was literally coming out in gobs every time he took a bite. I had a chicken sandwich which the menu does not say that it's spicy but it was. And the actual chicken itself had no flavor. Then I went to the restroom to wash my hands and the floor was filthy everywhere. There was food all over the floor, everywhere. The glass doors hadn't been cleaned in a while I guess. It was just so disappointing. It's a shame because this is the second time I've been disappointed and I won't be returning. read more

Wow. Just wow. Amazing quick bite food. I was looking for a chili cheese dog and this place had the best pics on Yelp. The inside of the place reminds me of Five Guys. They don't have all those unnecessary topping just the regulars: cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, ketchup, mustard, and mayo. Customer service is also on point. The gentleman who brought me my food addressed me by my first name multiple times and brought me ketchup, napkins, and a larger bag for my food. That means a lot to me. Now on to the food... Chili cheese dog and 1/2 lb burger with cheese and onions. Chili cheese dog was in the top five I've ever had. Real chili, diced onions, cheddar cheese, DAMN. DELICIOUS TO THE MAX. The burger was huge! Every time I lifted it to my mouth I felt like I was doing dumbbell reps with the 50 lb weight. Why do I keep thinking it's an overgrown Short Stop? Today was our first time at Mighty Fine on Brodie. Yes, we were excited. We heard a lot of hype about this place. Between the two of us, a regular burger, a cheese burger, two drinks and an order of fries to share cost $16. That seemed a bit steep. Then I tasted the burger and the fries and, yes, these were very very good. The burger was a little overdone, but it was good. Just the right amount of gooey stuff (mustard, ketchup, mayo) and veggies on it. Then, I started reading the napkin holder that described their natural high quality beef that was purchased from small farmers who treated their cattle well and didn't feed them growth hormones or any other crap. Their beef is ground on the premises and hand formed into the kind of patties your mom or dad used to make. They compared this kind of beef with the kind of factory farmed beef you would get at any other place, except maybe P.Terrys. Except that this burger was way more flavorful than P. Terrys. The fries are also hand cut and tasted very fresh. The counter-gal, Anastasia, was just about as enthusiastic and welcoming as anyone I have ever met in Austin. She deserves a raise! Eating a cruelty-free burger is well worth an extra buck or two. We have to support this kind of place, or else factory farms and cruel practices will continue to flourish. Vote with your pocketbook. Mighty Fine definitely has a good thing going here! The burger is one of the best around in my opinion. The ingredients are fresh and the patty is a little on the thicker side - just how I like it. One thing that did surprise were the crinkled pickles on the burger. I like a little pickle - mostly for the flavor and with the little crinkle pickles it was perfect! I even thought the fries were good as well! I have heard some people compare Mighty Fine to 5 guys and Mighty is way better in my opinion. Now you are wondering if I liked their food so much why am I giving them 3 stars instead of 4 or even 5? Well let me explain. For just under $13 I got my burger, fries and a drink. Seems a bit steep to me! A lot steep! The only way I would be ok with a burger that price is if it was a fancy restaurant. This is a fast food type set up and I just can not give out the 4th or 5th star when I think they are overpriced. Will I come here again - yes. Will I express to my friends that I love them, but feel they are expensive - yes. I feel like they could be comparable to the $10 dollar double from Whataburger. Just lower the overall price by $2.50 that is all I am asking. Anyway you get the point. But seriously one of the best burgers in town! read more
