Onions rings as good as it gets - burger had great seared flavor - place was packed but received food quick

I've been a fan of Mighty Fine since they opened. Service has always been great even during COVID-19 with cursbside pick ups. They get a big fat F today! Placed our usual order online & sent a text with our curbside position when we arrived and when we got home, found out that we got someone else's order! So we had to go back to get our order. Total service fail! So I replied to the email the "owner" provided below and 10 days later I got crickets! The service fail continues. read more

Honestly more of a 7/10 restaurant to me, but I still enjoyed their food enough. I just thought it tasted like a typical burger joint food I guess, but it was pretty filling and I liked the price of the food so there ya go. It wasn't like fast food at least. I'll come back here again I may refine my rating to a 4/5 on here at some point. read more

Love this place... Side note: I am on a low carb / keto diet, so at first I thought, this was going to be tough, but Alas !!! they support us crazy Keto dieters Burger in a bowl... yep... there is a non menu item called the "Beast" basically a 2 patties with cheese and all the fixings you want...and with it in a bowl, I can skip the bun to stay Keto !!! I just ask for lettuce and onions :) Have to skip the fries and the shake, but my family always orders a shake and fries. A great place to hang out, and enjoy a good burger. Pretty good burgers at very reasonable prices. Stopped by here for a quick grub before ACL. Ordered the quarter pounder cheeseburger with bacon and fries to share. The cashier who took our order didn't seem like she wanted to be there, or it felt like she was trying to rush me through the order. Not cool, but whatever. The order didn't take long to prepare and to be brought out to our table. My burger was pretty good, but I wasn't a big fan of the fries because they were kind of soggy. The men's restroom was pretty cool because it was a one-way window from the inside where you can look out into the dining room. Wouldn't mind coming back here at all. read more

Mighty Fine is officially my favorite burger spot ever. And I love burgers. Theirs are just the best--soft buns, thick, juicy patties, fresh veggies. The fries and onion rings are divine. Love the way the restaurant is laid-out with the picnic tables. My kids love the free pac man and Donkey Kong. The shakes are divine. It's always clean. The bathrooms are beautiful and the hand sanitizing station with stickers to boot is fun for the entire family. Thanks for a mighty fine meal!!! read more

I was very impressed by the service that this place provided. My parents were in town and we were looking for some burgers to go without the fast food flavor. This was a great choice. We placed a large to go order at the counter and they had such an efficient way to the process that our entire order came out correct and separated by order. The food came out quickly. When we got home, the burgers were still hot and delicious. I will definitely have to find a time to sit and dine in. read more

Mighty Fine is not taking social distancing seriously. I would say this is a failure of management since mostly kids work the register. I dare you to go wait in line there during Covid. No thanks. Just tired of austin attitudes. Am 73 and have lived all over the world. Ordering fast food in Austin is a joke. Told can only order in person or online not on the phone. Huh!!! there is always some problem. It just not that hard to order a hamburger. And most of them in Austin are overpriced and not that great. Have owned, operated several businesses. Customer is always right, make things simple. Be courteous. Train your staff, Raise them if you need to. Take a two hour drive to Houston and experience good food, reasonably priced with good service. read more

No complaints here! Simply menu, but simply 100% fresh... we ordered two junior burgers (ample size,all-natural certified angus beef), add cheese and split an order of onion rings. My husband got the strawberry lemonade, clearly made from scratch. This was an awesome ending to a day of shopping and our first week here in Austin. I'm not in this part of town often but was looking for a place to get a burger that wasn't Wendy's. I wasn't disappointed. I got the 1/2 lbs cheeseburger with the jalapeno mayo and added bacon. I guess I wasn't thinking because it was bigger than what I expected, or needed. It was good! I also liked that they didn't skimp on the onions or pickles. I also got the "Frings". I knew since I probably wasn't going to be back in the area any time soon, I probably should check out both. They were good! Unfortunately I think I got the last of the batch because they were a little dry and overcooked like they'd been sitting there for a bit. Their housemade ranch definitely helped make it less dry and it had a good flavor. I tried to do the curbside delivery but it didn't go as planned. I put in the order about what vehicle I would be in and I text them when I arrived as instructed. A few minutes later I got a text saying my order was ready. But after 4 minutes and nobody bringing my food, I decided to go in and get it. It was sitting there, ready...and my receipt had my vehicle info next to the name so I'm not sure what they were waiting for. I love me some burgers and boy Mighty fine hit the spot this week!! Even grabbed me a milkshake and it did not disappoint and I can't wait to have more shakes from mighty!! This was my first time and I'm sorry I waited so long. Cute place to sit at a picnic table and dine but I grabbed mine to go. Started with a chocolate shake and added a burger and fries. The burger is huge ! I went with the half pounder and it was juicy, fresh and plenty to eat. The fries were awesome , crispy crinkle cut and perfectly crunchy. The milkshake didn't last long but was made with delicious real chocolate ice cream, ya know the real fat real delicious kind !! Great service , used my name and came out quick and hot ! Absolutely loved this place. We have been here a few times. The first time we ordered the shakes and a regular burger and enjoyed them. This time we tried the gluten free burger bun and gluten free fries. So happy to find a place that we can still enjoy the burger and follow the doc's orders with gluten free options. I have been going to mighty fine burgers since they opened in South Austin. And up until a few months ago I had never been disappointed in the food or in the service. Today my son and I went to eat lunch there and he ordered the regular burger with mayo only. The amount of mayo on the burger was so much that it was literally coming out in gobs every time he took a bite. I had a chicken sandwich which the menu does not say that it's spicy but it was. And the actual chicken itself had no flavor. Then I went to the restroom to wash my hands and the floor was filthy everywhere. There was food all over the floor, everywhere. The glass doors hadn't been cleaned in a while I guess. It was just so disappointing. It's a shame because this is the second time I've been disappointed and I won't be returning. read more

There are tons of burger joints these days. Realistically, there are only so many ways to make a good burger. Main thing is to keep everything fresh, and it's all good. On thing I can't stand is the really small burger size of some of the kids meal or the cheaper burgers where it's like 1/8 of a pound. The breading would be more than twice the size of the meat. This place, the kids meal automatically comes in the 1/4 lb, so it was a good deal for my son. Overall, it's nothing that truly stands out, but we left the place happy. I've been here several times and the burgers never disappoint. I usually get the 1/4 lb. Burger which is usually way too much haha, but it's delicious . The fries are also flavorful and not too salty, and I love that you can also grab some tall cans of beer to add to your order. It's usually semi-busy but service is pretty good. Wow. Just wow. Amazing quick bite food. I was looking for a chili cheese dog and this place had the best pics on Yelp. The inside of the place reminds me of Five Guys. They don't have all those unnecessary topping just the regulars: cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, ketchup, mustard, and mayo. Customer service is also on point. The gentleman who brought me my food addressed me by my first name multiple times and brought me ketchup, napkins, and a larger bag for my food. That means a lot to me. Now on to the food... Chili cheese dog and 1/2 lb burger with cheese and onions. Chili cheese dog was in the top five I've ever had. Real chili, diced onions, cheddar cheese, DAMN. DELICIOUS TO THE MAX. The burger was huge! Every time I lifted it to my mouth I felt like I was doing dumbbell reps with the 50 lb weight. Ive been going to MF for more than 11 years... Today, I went with my kids to have lunch. After lunch my kids wanted milk shakes (as always). Once again, for 11 years we have been buying 'strawberry-lemonade' milkshake there and they love it. And we have never been charged extra for any reason, on the contrary, employees suggested this specific mixed flavor all the time. Today, they told us that there was an extra charge due to... blah blah blah... both managers gave different reasons: new management, an added garnish, they don't make these milkshakes anymore, its two ingredients instead of one, etc. When I saw the ticket it said "strawberry syrup"... as an extra charge. I asked a refund for that... later when I got home I saw that both 12 oz milkshakes were charged @ $4.99 each instead of $3.99 that is the published price for any 12 oz milkshake. (Check their website and menu... and you see I am right) What? So I got charged $2 more without noticing it and then on top of that, a charge for 'syrup'...? I checked their website and the menu displayed in the restaurant. I can't find any specific note or information about $1 more for 12oz milkshakes. If they do this with every client, not only are they not honoring the published prices but they are taking advantage of the fact that almost nobody checks the prices on the ticket and don't complain.
