I requested to talk to a manager of course manager, took her cashier side. Made an excuse, saying that the other cashiers must've have charge me wrong cuz they're new. Mind you prior to the manager before coming to talk to me. I was speaking to the other female worker that previously had charged me and she started stating something about the chart prices. Once the manager came to talk to me. She refused to talk to me afterwards. Like a crime has been committed. Honestly, I want to support local businesses, but this is absurd and to be quite frank. The bread is not even good half of the time. The cashier knew exactly what she was doing trying to scam me.I Was trying to avoid big corporate businesses like Starbucks, but it's way better than dealing with this nonsense.

I feel that many breakfast establishments do well with food and then so so with coffee. The R.EC. however has some good coffee as well as many other fantastic beverages to select from. Now to the good stuff or should I say the AMAZING stuff! I always see the same two guys back in the kitchen and they do such a nice job of consistently making great tasting high quality dishes. Even when a new dish or special is introduced the quality, taste and freshness is out of this world. The staff/ownership really knows what they are doing providing fast friendly service with a small town home made meal feeling. Plenty of booths and a side spot of tables where they can accommodate large groups, even an old school dinner counter to belly up close to the chiefs and catch a glimpse of all the dishes your going to have to come back and try. I'm almost reluctant to even tell you all how good this spot is as I want to keep it all to myself, lol

My husband and I are moving to Bartlett and have been looking at the many offerings the area has to…read moreoffer since starting our build. Le P'tit was the first to pop up on my feed and immediately caught my attention due to its unique menu, historic building, and secluded outdoor oasis for the fair weather seasons. When asked where I wanted to have dinner on my birthday, the answer was easy, L'ptit! We were greeted by the Chef Chopra outside, who welcomed us and asked us to choose the seat that suited us best in or outdoors. We chose a seat outside as it seemed most guests were enjoying the nice weather in the garden. Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer - my husband never orders humus. Not a drop was left. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! Our entrees were both specials - mine the steak and shrimp tower and my husband's the Birria. We could t decide whose was better. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful and beautifully cooked, and the beef and consommé of my husband's was out of this world. My takeaways from Le P'tit: We will be there - regularly, before we move into our home, and after! Have a cocktail, they are fabulous. Talk to Chef Chopra any chance you get. He has seen the world and loves to see his guests enjoying his menu and the atmosphere of his establishment. This is what supporting local is about! Enjoy your time at Le P'tit. Savor. Take a moment to slow down, disconnect from the outside and connect with the ones around you and enjoy the wonderfully and thoughtfully prepared dishes on the menu. We can't wait to be back!

I was seated pretty quickly and given a menu and ordered my standard unleaded coffee - decaf for those of you in the know. The ambience of the place was pretty good - very modern- very nice and it looked like it was very well-maintained. Always a good thing! To be honest? The only demerit was the waitress. Oh, she was good as a waitress, but she was not warm or welcoming - it seemed like she was just going through the motions, albeit professionally. It kind of makes a difference to me, you know? I decided to order a build your own omelette - I got turkey, sausage, turkey, bacon, and green peppers. In addition, I ordered a side of French toast and decided to try the hashbrowns because they look like they were housemade and not frozen. After a short bit of time, the food came out and oh my God! The portions were huge. I ate the French toast first but the only thing I noticed was the syrup was room temperature and not warmed up - not exactly a dealbreaker for me, but it would've pushed them over the top. The hashbrowns? Excellent! I put some hot sauce on the omelette and ate it all up - lickety split! So - would I come back? Probably. But I would hope for a different waitress is all. But I will say this - any breakfast joint that starts getting busy the very moment they open up at 7 AM on Sunday morning? Must be doing something right!
