To start this review, we're used to Lanksy, who historically would call and confirm our car the day before and was there waiting for us at the airport with a sign. However this last trip I decided to go with MidWilShuttle. Unfortunately, it turns out due to airport construction, the LAX parking system was changed and now private cars take five to ten minutes to pick you up, something we weren't fully aware of at booking and removed almost all of our reason to use a private car, beyond not having to take the LAX-it shuttle to a ride share. Which meant using MidWilShuttle was more like using Uber at another airport. I had expected to receive some type of confirmation communication the day before our flight from MidWil, something like: "you're all set to be picked up at LAX", but never did. We also assumed the driver would be waiting for us at the airport with a sign, but due to the above construction issue, he drove to meet us and we waited about 8 minutes to get picked up. Overall, our ride was uneventful and we were dropped off at our hotel with no issues so we would use MidWilShuttle again. But we will likely just fly into SNA and take an Uber/Lyft next time. read more

Excellent service!!! I made a reservation with Sidney of MidWil shuttle pre and post cruising. They were always very responsive and accommodating. They picked us up from the Alamo car rental near the LAX and took my party of 7 with 7 luggages an hour before my arranged pick up time to the Los Angeles World Cruise Center. Dropped us off curb side right in front of the cruise terminal porter luggage drop off. Paulino, our driver, was very friendly and answered all my questions about the area. There was also a car seat available in the shuttle. Booked another transport back to the Alamo car rental since we had a few hours before our flight back home. Despite the hectic site outside of the cruise terminal on disembarkation day Sidney kept in touch. Once my cellular service ensued I received a text message with my drivers name and number. I called Sabino once we cleared immigration and in less than 5minutes he was there at the taxi pick up islands. Easily identifiable MidWil Shuttle labeled van. Will definitely use again. read more

I Love this company, they continue to surpass and exceed my expectations over and over. They are reliable and always punctual. The drivers are all so nice and friendly. Ordered a car to pick up up at LAX and the guy took all of our flt info. No one was there as we waited at curbside. Tried to contact someone to find out where they were and they only texted us with lies about when they would pick us up. They would never answer your call. They just text you saying he's 2 minutes away. Lies and more lies. They finally picked us up 50 minutes late. The experience was not far worse than any ride share 3X's the price. Unacceptable! Will not be using them again. read more

If I could I would give them 0 star! Such a horrible experience!!! I booked a ride from LAX to Woodland Hills for me and my family. The communication with the company was good before we landed, but unfortunately the experience was the worst I experienced. I called when we landed and the guy that answered the phone said our ride is on the way. I called again at the time we set to meet and the guy said it will take another 20 minutes. We exited the gate and waited outside to see if we could find the driver but we didn't! It took them 55 minutes past the time we set at the beginning. I traveled with a young child and a baby so I can't even describe how bad was it. Won't recommend about this company for my enemies!!! read more

MidwilShuttle was amazing for our family of 7 going to Disneyland. I was taking my grandparents and was worried about having to take the LAXIT shuttle bus all the way to the Uber pick up locations after our long flight and walk through the airport. Taking MidWilShuttle was very affordable, especially comparing it to 2 separate Ubers like we would have to had done. Very convenient and the staff is wonderful. They are very responsive when booking and when texting with any questions or concerns. It definitely has the small company feel but I liked that about them. Personable, kind and helpful. If you have a big group going to Disneyland and not wanting to deal with the Uber mess this is a great option! read more

If I could give no stars I would. I booked well in advance for a shuttle from LAX- Anaheim return. I booked, confirmed, and confirmed again and then after flying 14 hours from Australia we find no shuttle to greet us. No answer via email, phone or text!! Then I find an email that was sent during my 14 hour flight asking AGAIN if we were still coming and if I didn't respond they'd assume I wasn't!!! Also said they'd need 6 hours notice to rebook!!! Standing at LAX at night, with my 3 children and trying to figure out how to get to Anaheim was not an enjoyable experience. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY- choose a reliable company. Since returning home I have emailed again asking for some kind of explanation. I have had no response whatsoever. You'd think they could at least apologise! read more

Responds very quickly and is very flexible. Very useful when the airlines keep delaying your flights, and hence your arrival and departures but MWS is always on top of it! read more

Fantastic service. Hired them for a Board meeting to get guests to and from their hotels over two days, and they arrived to the hotel early, stayed until everyone was picked up, and arrived on time to get everyone back to the hotel from the event venue. After reading all the regular cab company reviews for rides from LAX I feared for my life booking one of those services. We had a large dog kennel, several large bags and were coming from a 12 hour flight. I needed to get to a hotel down the road from LAX with all that stuff. Uber couldn't do it and neither could a cab. Most shuttles are for longer distances. Midwil however was happy to help, even for such a short trip and I thought the price was right. Response to my inquiry was immediate and polite. Answered my subsequent questions via email promptly. They were ready for me when I contacted them and arrived within 10 minutes of me calling them outside the terminal. All went smoothly and service with a smile. Sidney, the owner had great review online so I felt comfortable booking his services to meet our transatlantic flight. He said that they would be checking online for delays,,, since i had no phone service until we landed. I received OUTstanding service,,, our plane was on time as was one piece of luggage but we had to wait at LAX for almost an hour for the second suitcase. Sidney was texting me so he knew where we were in the process of immigration and bag collection. I gave him a generous tip for his extra wait time. Absolutely the very very best! Affordable, timely, efficient, and they are extremely nice too! After a long flight they were right there waiting and even with a crying baby in the car they still smiled and treated us with compassion and warmth. The trip back to the airport was wonderful too. Tim took the side streets to avoid the accident on the freeway and I received a private mini tour of China Town, and other interesting parts of LA. I will never ever use anyone but them! Great shuttle service. Came in on a red eye at 5:30am and our driver texted us to before we arrived to baggage claim. The driver was very professional and courteous and got us to our destination fast. Service was so great we decided to just have them drive us back to LAX for our return flight then having to make a family member do the drive. Highly recommend. ​Midwilshuttle in Los Angeles was fantastic. We actually enjoyed the trips we made with them. On an earlier trip to LA we'd used bigger shuttle services and had to wait forever and the cars weren't always comfortable. We read the great reviews for Midwilshuttle on TripAdvisor and yes, they were really wonderful. Picked up on time, didn't have to wait at LAX. Very careful drivers. They knew good routes to travel so we made good time to destinations. When we asked they pointed out things to see, when we wanted to doze they just drove. Sometimes we travelled in a van, sometimes in a sedan. But in all cases, we were comfortable -- and ALL the seat belts worked easily! I mean, they were NOT those horrible ratchet things that, once they've got you in, won't let you move at all. Also, they took us where we needed to go, were not restricted to just to/from the airport. We needed to travel from mid-Los Angeles to Disneyland, and they were able to do this. They can also take you around to other attractions. Plus, they accomodated our changes easily. They knew when our flights were landing and leaving. And they even were able to change our departure day with just a few hours notice, on the same day. All this with friendly drivers and clean comfortable vehicles.
