I was a patient of Doctor InYang who just leaves the practice. Ive been with this medical facility for approximately 3 years and have had numerous MRI'S, X-rays facet joint injections, radio ablation etc. Kathy is the manager who did absolutely NOTHING to arrange for another doctor to take over for INYANG. I will not go back to this facility ever again because the staff hate their jobs and it's very easy to tell. The place is old and dated and the employees match the facilities.

Disappointing. So I went to the closest place for Orthopedics which was Ohio Institute for Orthopedics (OIO) and found out they were closed. In fact, since it was a holiday week, they were closed for the next 6 days (they opened Dec 26)! So I had to wait 6 days (without the ability to walk) to get help. Looking back, I should have gone to Ft. Wayne, IN. They (OIO) opened at 8 am Thursday and I was first in line. Thank God they admitted me and operated on me that day. I was discharged in the evening and the surgeon had already left for the day. I was hoping to talk with him about the procedure, steps forward, physical therapy, dos and don'ts, etc. The nurse assured me the surgeon would call me the next day so he could answer my questions. The next day, I received a call from a nurse who could not answer any of my questions. They just said I had a follow up in 20 days. 20 days?!?! So no physical therapy; no movement, no information for 20 days? Very disappointing!

Dr. Kim ran an MRI and CAT scan, and then told my husband nothing was wrong, give it another month, then he would start shots. My husband just visited our family physician yesterday, where he learned the MRI and CAT scan reports actually state the psiatic nerve is rotated and swollen on his right side...hmmm...something Dr. Kim failed to mention. Now, we are on welfare, selling items to survive. All could have been resolved while he was still in the hospital, but now my husband may have to endure more surgery and more time off work. We do not have anything else to sell unless we start selling our kids. I will never recommend anyone use Dr. Kim. He is blase' about complaints, does not want to take responsibility for his errors and moves onto the next victim....Dr's are supposed to be trusted, not feared.

I have been coming to Pajka Eye Center since 2021. I first went there because my mother had…read morecataracts and she needed to have that surgery. She had one surgery for one of the eyes, and needed me to take her to the appointments. While there I got to know about this surgery center and decided to finally look into Lasik surgery. My vision has been steadily getting worse as the years went by to the point I just couldn't see almost anything without glasses. Whenever i would misplace them, it would take me up to an hour sometimes to find them because i just couldn't see... i had to get super up close to see them. I have been putting off doing Lasik for years, partly because I was a bit of a chicken. I was always worried they would screw it up and I would end up blind. Ever see that old Twilight Zone episode, Time Enough At Last? It freaked me out when I first saw it years ago. Here is a recap from Wikipedia, if you never saw it: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_Enough_at_Last Yeah, i totally related to this guy, especially his obsession with books. The fear of eventually not being able to see and enjoy the things I love drove me to get the surgery. And the moment I decided I needed to correct my vision came in a trip in 2021, where I went to a hotel pool, having extreme difficulty seeing anything while I was in the pool and then for a while that I couldn't find my glasses for a while... made me realize I needed to fix this problem once and for all. So i went through their tests and was told 1) I was blind as a bat and 2) I was a candidate for Lasik. After a few check ups as I needed to get my eyes ready for the surgery as they were too dry, needing months of daily eye drops. The day of the surgery came. A friend of mine took me to the eye center for the surgery, and i went in. I signed some paperwork, given some pills and some eye drops to numb my eyes I gotta say, Lasik surgery feels weird. You do feel them working on the eye as your conscious and it doesn't hurt most of the time. Except the left eye which I was told it always does. The surgery didn't take long... think it was an hour. I wish i could say that I faced this without fear, but no. I did hold the hand of one of the nurses the whole time... especially during the left eye. Super thankful to that nurse. I went home and slept the rest of the day and really did a lot of sleeping that weekend. I had to wear sunglasses for several weeks, have 4 different types of eye drops to use for the next month and had to sleep with goggles on. My vision got progressively better and one week after my surgery I had 20/15 vision. Not sure what I have now as I have to go soon for another check up. Its amazing to be able to see without glasses on... even the colors are more vivid and vibrant. I am incredibly thankful for Dr. Pajka and his staff. My life is so much better since the surgery. They are very professional, caring and wonderful. If you are in Van Wert and Lima and need eye surgery, go see Dr. Pajka!

This is hard for me to write…read more A while back my mother got a mammogram at her doctor and she told my mother she should get a core biopsy. Her primary care had found calcifications in the mammogram and she wanted it checked out. My mother went and got the biopsy at the Women's Health Center in Lima. After a week, she was asked to come in for her test results. The test results were being given to her the day before Thanksgiving and since I was off work, i told her I would take her and then we could have brunch together. It was easy finding the health center as it is in the same medical center as my dermatologist. We went inside and she checked in. We sat in the waiting room for about five minutes before we were called in and were taken to a room which looked like an office. I started to get worried because, this didn't feel normal to me. Two women then walked in and introduced themselves to me. One was the doctor who performed the biopsy, the other was a social worker.... and the doctor informed us my mom has breast cancer. I literally felt the room spin on me. I must have obviously reeled or showed something because they wanted to make sure i was ok. I wasn't but i tried to compose myself. The doctor told us about what was found, and the plan. They had a team of doctors... a surgeon, a oncologist, a radiological oncologist who would be working with her along with the social worker. The social worker would be there for my mom thru things and we were given the information on what we needed to do. They also said the surgeon would come to the womens health center the next week to check her over. I am thankful and appreciative that the Women's health center found my mom's cancer so we can do something about it. I am also happy so many of the services are there and will be there like the social worker and the radiological oncologist. At the center i noticed that there is also a wig center located inside that my mother may end up having to use. Like i said, this was difficult to experience and write about. All i can say is this... if you are a woman, get routine mammograms. Get checked out!

My family and I moved to Van Wert, OH from Miami, Fl about one month before the pandemic hit. It is…read moretherefore ironic that one of the biggest changes we have experienced with moving across the country centered around our health. This is something we continue to deal with because one thing we realized coming here was... that Miami healthcare is absolute garbage and that my new locality has better healthcare. Perfect example of this would have to be in regards to dermatology. For years... YEARS! I suffered not only with acne but with a skin condition in the back of my scalp... including my brother as well. I had it since I was in 9th grade. The condition was painful, sometimes more and sometimes less depending on how bad the episode was. Sometimes the pain would be mild, sometimes it hurt so bad it was awful to lay my head on a pillow, sometimes it just hurt that bad by itself. I went to dermatologist after dermatologist, trying to find a way to fix this. They all gave me different opinions on what it was and different treatments. I cannot describe the amount of different pills, ointments, and shampoos I tried for the condition... they didn't work or didn't work for long. One shyster told me laser surgery would fix it... yeah he couldn't explain how though... i didn't do that one. My brother and I started treating with Dr.Gray in Lima in June of 2020. We were both pretty jaded with all our prior dermatological experiences and expected to keep going thru this for the rest of our lives. For about half the year, we tried different pills and ointments that did not work until he decided that the way to finally fix this problem for good was to take isotretonin. It was a long treatment starting in January 2021 and ending in July...requiring constant check up with him and bloodwork because the medicine is very strong. Dr. Gray even was nice enough once we were starting to stabilize to do e-visits after our working hours as it was hard to constantly take off work. He would tell us to keep the faith that we would get thru this and it would get fixed. You know what though? It worked! IT WORKED! I can't describe what it feels like to be finally free of this problem after years of this. This man is a miracle worker! I pray that it would stick and except for one brief and flare up (i think due to stress), i have been pain free. I am thankful I tried one last time and got treated by Dr. Gray. I always tell everyone I speak to now, if you have a skin issue or need to see a dermatologist... you NEED to see Dr. Gray in Lima.
