I have come to Van Wert Health for blood work and others tests since moving to the area many times…read morenow. This has been especially the case since i have been taking medication for at least six months that requires i have monthly blood work until i am off it. My previous experiences with blood work and/or other medical analysis have been with Quest Diagnostic Centers when i lived in Miami. It was a chain of diagnostic centers where their level of service greatly differed based on which one you went to and even sometimes what day you went/who was attending you. You may get someone friendly, or someone surly. Sometimes you had a great experience... others a terrible one... and the wait times were ridiculously long. Van Wert Health, on the other hand, is completely different. I have not had a single bad experience with them. Everyone on the staff is friendly and courteous. Longest wait time i had was 20 minutes... and that was one time... usually i check in and i am immediately called. If you need lab work done in the area, definitely come here!

After being inpatient here for four weeks I had the confidence to finally apply to a full time…read moreposition of which I have now held for the better part of a year. The showers were very warm and comfortable (something I was worried about before I chose to admit myself). The center was not transparent about my ability to walk out at any point in time, but that became clearer throughout my stay. The food was filling and delicious. This Center really focuses on what recovery you enter immediately after leaving the location, but once you are out of their doors it is very clear they offer very little support other than a quirky little media group they have. In terms of retrieving documents or paying them for their service, they make each step meticulously difficult and unnecessarily complicated. I have been out for over a year now and still have been unable to collect documents and information that the counselor they had me assigned to said I could access afterwards such as, but not limited to: the name of book she recommended to me and documents regarding my diagnosis at the center. Paying ORC is much more difficult than I could have ever imagined. I constantly fear I will loose my good credit score due to their constant unavailability and nonsense redirect calls. They have not offered any way for me to pay other than by phone, which has been nearly impossible due to their incredibly unorganized staffing.
