If I could give 0 stars, that would be my choice. I called today to schedule an appointment with the service department and could not believe the lack of professionalism I was confronted with. First, when I call the woman answers the phone saying "hello?" I replied with, "I'm sorry, am I calling the service department at Midway Ford?" She rudely replied "yes" and proceeded to tell me that if I couldn't be there March 30th at 7 am, they would not service my car. Reluctantly, I said ok am I confirmed for that date at that time, she yells at me and says, "you haven't given me your information!" I then step back and say I'm sorry ma'am what's your name, when she replies Suzie Fernandez. I then stated that I will happily take my business elsewhere due to her lack of customer service and rude behavior. I tried to call back at least 5 times to speak to a manager and there was no answer. I will never step foot at this location. I find this behavior completely unacceptable and truly when they have people like that answering the phones, how can you trust them with your cars? read more

The lack of resources and staffing make it virtually impossible to ever have a "quick" mechanical issue resolved in that dealership. They never have a loaner vehicle available so you're pretty much on your own if you drop your car off and don't expect to get it back until next month. They never call you if there's a loaner finally available either. Worst Services department. Find yourself a family mechanic in Hialeah instead. You're better off there instead. read more

This dealer is terrible in the service department. Gisel was terrible at keeping in touch to let me know what was going on with my car. I have a 2018 mustang gt premium with 3000 miles and and the a/c needed to be recharged. They forgot to put all the caps back where the Freon goes. They left the car filthy and told me to go to another dealer to have the other problem it had serviced. The sales department is just as bad. When o was trying to buy a new mustang I walked around looking at cars for about half an hour and not one person approached me. I ended walking out and buying my car else where. Only came to the service department because it is closer to my house. I will never come to this dealer again for anything. read more

Worst dealership in existence. They should be Ford corporation ASAP. I tried to purchase a car through ford.com Ready.Shop.Go program where the price is given before you even show up to the dealership for a specific car that they have on the lot with specific vin. After i got the contract through ford, i called the dealership to make sure that everything is good, and that is when the "fun" began. First of all, nobody at the dealership speaks or understand English. Second, management is rude and unprofessional. Essentially, they told me to go fly a kite and that they don't care which documents i have, they will not honor the deal. Ford corporate was not of much use either, and said that everything is up to the dealer. So at this point, if you want half way decent service, seek another dealership. STAY AWAY if you care for your time and want an honest deal on a car. read more

Very good service! They have really good salesman! The managers are always there and always willing to help you! I would definitely buy my next car and all of my cars there. read more

I went on yelp to retrieve the dealers number to make a service appointment. I have to tell you, after reading some of the comments about the service department, there's a 95% chance that I will NOT be making any appointment at this dealer anytime soon. In this day in age it's so easy to get customer service right, mechanical work done right and considering this dealer with how long it's been in service seems to not really care about those 2 things. Thanks for the tips on all the previous reviews read more

One of the worst dealerships I have ever visited. Costumer service was pretty much nonexistent from the moment I arrived. All of the sales reps were just talking very loudly and smoking outside, and had to approach them twice to even get one of them to "help" me. I was seriously interested in a Ford Raptor they had, and they treated me like they just did not want to sell the car. Would not even open the car or show it to me without me having to insist on wanting to check it out first, and that was after like 30 minutes of them "looking for the key." Will gladly take my business somewhere else than to buy a car from them marked up 20k over MSRP without even being able to check it out first. These people do not know what the definition of costumer service and satisfaction is. Consider going somewhere else, there are much better Ford dealers around. read more

daniel reis - unprofessional. i posted an inquiring online with interest in an commercial van ford transit for a new project i am launching. i received a call from daniel reis midway ford miami sales rep and export 8155 flagler st miami, florida 33144 as i explained my needs for my van he pretty much ignored me, was very rude and unprofessional; he had no interest in selling me a $50k van. i expressed to please hear me out as i have to review more details as to specs of the van. he just hung up the phone. when i reached out to him again via his mobile number as soon as he heard my name he hung out the phone again. honestly i am astonished by his lack of customer service and interest in the reputation of the company he represents. purchasing an vehicle should be a fun adventure in this case my experience with midway ford was the total opposite. read more

I will never waste my money on another Ford again thanks to Midway Ford Miami. They have failed to provide decent service and when I brought my vehicle in for a recall, they broke the handle that popped the hood of my car, completely drained my 1 year old battery so I couldn't even get a jump start because of the broken hood handle, and on top of all that my car started leaking coolant...on their property... as soon as they told me it was safe to drive again. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a car dealership, and I feel completely unsafe driving my car now as if it will shut off or blow up on me at any moment....because who knows what else they've tampered with. Oh...and they made me pay $100 to replace a battery cable after telling me the battery itself was the issue............Please don't ever take your car here, and don't ever purchase another ford if you were considering. Addendum: 9/26/17 just so everyone can know the actual timeline of events, I can happily send it to you as I have dates and times for everything that had happened with these people. It's sad to think they would stoop so low as to lie on their response comment. read more

On January 13 I went to Midway Ford to check for an F150 XLT 2.7 crew cab. I entered the sales place and there was hardly any buyers and I was met by a Sales person (Vicente) He: How can I help you? Me: I would like to test drive an F150. He: Are you going to buy it today? Me: No, I am still researching. (I was honest, it seems I was wrong) He: Do you know the model you want? Me: Yes and gave him the details. He: Do you know the price of that truck? Me: I have seen some between 28k-32k. (I might have gave him a very low price, but this is not an offense. I just started not to like the way this was going on because of the face expression he kept during this short dialogue) He: We do not have ANY truck on that price. Me: Do you have any I can test drive? He: No, we do not have that truck. Me: Ok (and I left) This sales person had a very bad attitude since the beginning (face language) and I think he is driving business away from the dealer. I will never go there to buy anything, I prefer to give my business to someone else. At the end of the day, I am paying for a service that will benefit the person(s) at the other end. Why should I benefit mediocre people? read more

I think this place is a scam. I brought my car in to check the oil pressure because my sensor kept fluctuating and they said my oil sensor was bad so they ran a diagnostic told me everything was fine my car motor was in good condition and replaced my oil sensor. Give it a couple days and I have the same problem and my engine goes bad. I don't think they do a very good job and are truthful. I believe his name was Tom who worked in the service department was very arrogant and seemed to care less about helping me. I wouldn't recommend taking your car there. read more

Ok. I don't know where to start. Last week I took my car to service and to take care of a recall (Deformed fuel tank) and to replace the battery terminals that were broken. TheMidway Ford lady was very nice, Good customer service (so I thought). Later the Midway Ford lady called me back telling me that the repair would cost around 1500$. According to Midway Ford, the battery had to be replaced and the terminals were ok (it was the opposite). Midway Ford also said that there was a problem with the fuel pressure sensor and a fan. The fuel tank in recall was fine according to them. I declined their repair offer because the battery was in a warranty. So I took my car to Tires Plus (battery warranty). There they checked the car, the battery was good (they replaced the terminals that were not good) The fuel pressure sensor was good, the problem was in the tank. The recall Midway Ford was supposed to take care of and did not (Midway Ford stated they had taken care of the recall when I picked up the car) The car got out of Midway Ford leaking gasoline. Now I have to pay 800 $ in tires plus to fix the thing you had to replace on the recall. You were going to charge me 1500 $ to supposedly fix something that did not need fixing. Were you trying to pin the recall costs on me? I am going to have an investigation open on this. Be sure that I will never do business with you again Midway Ford. read more

This dealership leaves much to be desired in almost every aspect. It is run down, dirty, outdated, and downright depressing. We were helped by J.C., who was pleasant enough and helpful, but that was not enough to make us want to purchase a car there. The owners of this dealership should really invest in updating, painting, and just remodeling this place. It feels like it's right out of the late 70's or early 80's with all the wood paneling, the little offices with windows, and the big round tables out in the open. It is simply not inviting. I'm not saying it needs to be like a Mercedes dealership, but it most certainly can use an overhaul. Also, the salesmen hovering outside at the door give you the impression of used car salesmen salivating over new customers. The cars outside, even the ones right outside of the showroom, were spotty and needed to be washed. It was not a rainy day, nor was the previous day, so there was really no excuse for this. At one point, we went inside for J.C. to get a key, and he was distracted by calls and other salesmen. IT took him about 10-15 minutes to get a key. I believe when a salesman is with a potential buyer, he/she shouldn't be bothered with phone calls. Also, J.C. didn't offer us many options based on our needs and the questions we were asking; we had to really pull information out of him versus him offering us alternatives and giving us ideas as to what we might want. I think this is just a matter of better training and probably not even J.C.'s fault. Ford is a great car manufacturer, and it is really a shame that this dealership doesn't represent them well. read more

Although we didn't purchase our F250 truck here, this model truck is sold here. We brought it in for an engine light and uneven tire wear 2 months in. 4 hrs later they were done with the "Engine Light". However, they could not address the alignment issue because my truck is "too big" for their equipment. Here is my problem. How can they sell a vehicle and not have the capacity to fully service it? Secondly, why not tell me beforehand and give me the option to take it elsewhere to have everything done. Now I have to waste another day in getting the alignment resolved at another dealer. Totally unacceptable! Poor customer service. read more

Stay away from their service area. STAY AWAY. I had scheduled an appointment and made it on time to my appointment where I was greeted by this service advisor which I will not name. He took my car in and I told him that I needed an oil change and a new set of tires and that the car had 2 open recalls that I needed to take care of. So he tells me that the car is not going to be done the same day which I was prepared for. I immediately called my fleet company to get setup for a rental and was on my merry way trusting that my car would get fixed. As someone mentioned below, I also got the I'm going to send you a survey so that you can rate me high (which luckily for him, they never sent it). This guy's attitude is very ignorant. I pick up my car the next day (i just showed up since Noone called me to tell me that it was ready). As soon as I get in the car, the low psi tire light went off and the oil timer was never reset. So I asked for them to check the psi and reset and they did (they gave me back my car with 28psi way below where it needed to be). The next day I drive off and my A/C shuts off and my muffler starts shaking so I take it back and was told that the A/c was fine and they were going to order a piece for the muffler that was missing. I never got a call back about the part and to make things worse....remember those two open recalls that I mentioned in the beginning??? They did NOT complete them!!! I just received a letter from Ford with the same two that are still open and they verified it with my VIN records as well. So if you drive a Ford, and need your vehicle to be serviced, STAY Away!!! I am now driving my car a bit further to get the service it needs. Horrible. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS SERVICE. THEY ARE STEALING YOUR MONEY WITH LONGER TIME LABOR. 3,5 HOURS LABOR FOR 1,5 HOURS WORK. We came this shop by knowing exactly what is going on and they said we will not pay the diagnostic if we do the repair here. Diagnostic took only 10 min, and they came up with 3,5 hours labor estimate and one part which is priced $110 more than what FORS PARTS says in the website. We showed the website and they say, yeah we can do that( this is not favor, this is how it should be). Then I called them at 11:10 in the morning asking about my car, they said part came but they will start soon, so it should be ready by 3 pm. 1,5 Later they called me and told me the car is ready. I came to pick up and expecting 1,5 hours labor at most but they are still trying to charge me 3,5 hours, and he keeps saying remember 1 of these hours diagnostic!!!! Am I look like stupid. Diagnostic took only 10 min and it has already been said it is free if you do the repair here. Now they make me wait to speak with a manager who is in a meeting (!). I wish I checked the yelp before coming this unprofessional, thief service. read more

I've been here many times, but the service never got any better. This will likely be my final visit. The only reason I came in today was because they sent me a bill in the mail for a service that wasn't performed, and to get anyone on the phone is impossible. They say they'll have someone call you back, but three times they never called me back. I will be going to another dealership, though further for me, in the hopes that the service will be better. read more

One star is not even worth it. These guys are completely incompetent!!! I won't boar you with all the details but all I needed was a KEY!!!!! The car wasn't even mine but that of a friends (I lost his key, my bad). I checked it in w/o signing the standard work order permit requiring a written or verbal estimate, as Fl law requires. My car battery was dead this morning; the car was also about due for an oil change & tire rotation, so I thought I'd call and see if this dealer could fit it in. I had a flexible two hour window I could spare in my day. At 9:30 am, I explained the above to the man who answered at Midway Ford Service. I asked for an appointment, and the man on the phone said "no appointment needed, as long as you get here by 2:30PM." My husband came home from work to jump my car and I arrived at the dealership at 12:20PM. I stood outside of my car looking for a service attendant until the sweat was dripping down my back. I looked at my phone, I was standing there for 7 minutes. I walked to the cashier window. The young woman, eating her lunch at her desk, said she would call someone, and I said I would be inside my car, in the air conditioning At 10 minutes, she came out to my car to tell me she had called someone. At 15 minutes, a man came to my car window and told me I was supposed to be waiting outside of my car so someone could see me. I told him, I had spoken to the cashier, she had called someone, and it was too hot to wait outside. He was condescending as he told me Miami is hot. At 22 minutes, a service man came over to my car, got in to look at the mileage, and then said I needed to leave the car overnight as they were too booked to help. I told him I had called and was directed to come in and he said literally : "the people on the phone don't know what they are doing." I then asked him to please get out of my car so I could leave, and he protested: "I am just trying to be honest." I called the other local Ford dealer and explained the exact same problem I had tried with this one. They told me it would take about 2 hours, maybe 2 hours and 15 minutes at the most, and they gave me an appointment. I arrived at my appointment, they greeted me right away, and had all of the work done, plus a recall they found, in 1 hour and 50 minutes. I will not use Midway ford again. read more

Was about to sit down and purchase a used vehicle at an adequate price. Wasn't until we sat down with the finance department that they tacked on over $2000 in "dealer fees". Extremely deceptive, definitely not worth spending a dollar here. read more

I have been a customer of this dealership for +20 years and have purchased at least 8 vehicles from them however I will never go back there again for any reason service or sales. My last car I purchased was a 2010 Mustang and well maintained and with -60,000 miles. Recently the check engine light went on. We took the car in for service and was advised it needed a 02 sensor replacement for +$700 which we paid. After picking up the car the next day the light was back on so once again we took the car in and was told that it need a egr valve (computer part), paid +$600 and the car was supposedly repaired, just a few days later the check engine light was back on. Once again we returned to the dealer and was told the part (egr) was defective and that the dealer would repair at their expense and they would order the part as urgent and would call upon receipt. We made at least 10 calls to the dealer (shop foreman) most without any response. When we finally received a voicemail back, we were told that the part was on backorder and that they would call us upon receipt. It is now over 1 month of the car running poorly, stalling and the air cond no longer blowing cold air all of which were fine before we started these repairs. Now I am not so sure if the repairs made were even necessary! After an email to the foreman, service manager and our friend the salesman we received a voicemail that the part was coming from Ford and no date for receipt was available. It's funny when we were paying the part was received within 10 days but now since they were paying no part is available. I have reported this incident to Ford Motor Company and have been assigned a case number and am waiting to hear from them. Our intention was to get the car repaired and purchase a new pickup from Midway however obviously this won't happen. Last Saturday we were driving to purchase a new car since the Mustang was no longer safe to drive...it was stalling, had no power, no cold air-cond and barely made it to a dealer where we traded it in for a new car. When we took the car in the 3rd time, the Shop Foreman Tony advised us that cars aren't meant to last forever, (I don't think 60K miles if forever). Sorry to end our business relationship with Midway like this but this is no way to treat a client/customer. My recommendation is stay away. read more

Management of the service department at Midway Ford could use some work. The first time I went, it was great, and the man that helped me with my Mustang service was fantastic. However, this week I showed up at 3:30pm on a Wednesday and asked if I can get an oil change. The lady said no, that they had 3 cars waiting or something, and they work from appointments. I think that's unacceptable because that's the second time something like that happens to me there. Anyway, same as last time, I headed straight to Ford of Kendall instead at about 4pm, where they did my oil change and inspection and tire rotation within 1 and a half hours. At first he advised me I might have to wait 2 hours, but then he went and spoke to some people and came back and told me it may just be 1 hour. He didn't just turn me away and tell me they wouldn't be able to do my car like Midway did. I will be going back to Ford of Kendall to do my brakes since they have great customer service. read more
