We have been doing business with Braman for over 30 years. The way we were treated yesterday was unacceptable. Our 2016 CRV Turig is 10 years old and has only 36,000 miles. Last summer we had to replace the started ($1,060.00). Yesterday we took the car because the battery died and we were not sure whether it was related to the starter. They told us there was nothing wrong with the battery but charged us ($190) anyway claiming that they had a list of wrong things that needed to take care of (at the cost of $1,000+). Awful experience! I took my car in because they claimed it had several issues. The dashboard showed a "Service Past Due" warning, but that was only because they never reset it after doing the oil change--which I had already done there. The check engine light was also on, and my car was making a strange noise. I paid $900 expecting a proper repair. All they did was clear the dashboard alerts and the check engine light. I later realized the "Service Past Due" warning was only showing because they didn't reset it the first time--most likely on purpose--so that when I came back, they could charge me again for a service I didn't need. Update to my review from 2 years ago below: DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!!! I have been getting my oil changed here since that incident ( that was only bolted up, never offered to replace the splash guard that THEY caused me to badly scratch up and deform) and I hear the same scraping sound while driving at a high speed and go back to the dealer to get this fixed today. I explained the same thing happened to me before and I know it's due to them changing the oil and not tightening the bolts properly. The employee said it could not be done without charge and wanted me to pay $170 to fix my splash guard that was deformed, low and loose now. I am extremely annoyed and highly suggest you find any other place to get your oil changed because they will cause you to ruin your splash guard and then want to charge you later on. My splash guard should have been replaced free of charge. Untrustworthy and not a happy customer. I will advise everyone DO NOT CHANGE YOUR OIL HERE! Review from December 2020: This review is about their service department. First oil change, everything went great excellent service. Went in on a Saturday so I did have to wait 2 hours but that's because it was busy. Three months later, I went in for my second oil change. Went in at around 5:30 pm on a Friday and this time the oil change took around 45 minutes to be completed. I left that day thinking everything was fine, my oil was changed and I was ready to take a road trip on Sunday. WAS I WRONG Saturday night, as I was driving on the turnpike 65+ mph, I hear a loud scraping noise and immediately pull over. Turns out after they changed my oil (guessing they just wanted to do a quick job since they stop servicing at 7) they didn't screw my engine cover back in properly and here I was On the highway, had to use a freaking mask to hold the cover up and got off the highway somehow. Extremely dangerous situation and now my engine cover was COMPLETELY scraped. Had to take my trip in ANOTHER car because they weren't open until Monday. When they sent me their text to check how their service was I told them I was extremely disappointed and they told me to come in. They did look into my car and screw it back in PROPERLY this time but with the same scratched cover I have now because of an error THEY Had. No apology or credit for future service was given as a way of apology for something that could have caused a major accident on the highway. I loved Service Representative Efrain (Junior) and was very sad when he told me he was leaving, but before leaving he directed me to Christian Espinoza. He has been AMAZING! I've never seen him in a bad mood, always smiling and ready to help. He treats you like if he's known you for years. Before you read below, I just want to invite anyone who has been scammed or ripped off by Braman Honda or Braman Honda Service to private message me. I am in contact with many people that would not believe. I will press on every single day until the situation is remedied. I'm that determined. Join me! I have a 2019 Honda Accord that had a battery die. We changed the battery at a local mechanic, and then noticed all the electrical systems went nuts - i.e. cabin lights & turn signals wouldn't work, etc. We took the car to Braman Honda Service and a guy name Jeff helped us and he told my wife that the mechanic crossed the negative and positive connections, and that we used the wrong battery because it was not a Honda Battery. The fix was $700 because we need a new control box, whatever that means?!? This was a lie! I have never heard of a Honda battery, and if the positive and negative connections were crossed, the car wouldn't start. He tried to ripp us off! I can't stress strongly enough how dishonest this guy Jeff is. He was telling us over the phone about the swapped positive and negative connections on the battery before he even saw the car. It's a script he's running, and using it on people who he thinks are unaware, like my wife. We didn't buy the b.s. and took the car to another location, Japanese Auto Care. Japanes Auto Care pressed two buttons and reset the computer, and did not charge us a penny! Problem solved. They said that the whole battery connection story was a lie, they said we did NOT need a new control box, and basically confirmed to us that Jeff and Braman Honda were trying to rip us off! Lastly, they gave us the receipt for the $109 diagnistic service, but they never gave us the report for the $700 in corrective actions. They know that report will prove they were running a scam. I have been to this dealership a few times in my life, for recalls service and inquires about used and new cars. Earlier this month I went by myself to check out the cars on the sales floor. I approached the front desk to see if I could speak to someone, but they were on another planet and chatting with each other. I kindly asked one of the ladies for help and she apologized, saying she did not see me. The salesperson, Javier, met with me, and was very professional, ready to make a deal. He showed me the 2 White Honda Fit EX's that they have in inventory at the garage. We test drove one of them. He asked me what number does he have to beat, so I showed him a quote that I received from another dealership. We negotiated, he went to ask his manager about my offers, got my car key to get it appraised, and settled on $21,500 out-the-door cost with my current car traded-in ($1k). I negotiated to $20k-$21k, but he would not budge, so I decided to leave to. Javier told me that my budget is for used cars and showed me some used cars listings on his device. He explained that they cannot sell cars for less than what they purchased them for because then the dealerships does not make any profit. Understandable. After some more researching, I looked into used cars. I went on different websites/apps and found a Certified Honda Fit EX at Braman Honda. My cousin accompanied me to the dealership to inquire and test drive it. I spoke to Rolando, a salesperson who said he has been in the industry for 20+ years. When I told him I am here for the used Fit, he immediately knew which car I was talking about. He said they just got this fresh trade and the woman who had the car traded her car for a bigger Honda model. He also said that a woman almost purchased the car but she had bad credit. He was very enthusiastic, explained all the features while we test drove, and had his manager appraise my car. The manager, Justino, said my a/c doesn't work. I said yes it just happened few days ago but I have the a/c refrigerant to charge it. While sitting at a desk waiting for the price breakdown and Carfax paperwork, I thought of more questions to ask Rolando about the warranty. He gave me the paperwork and I wrote down my notes on one of the papers. He showed us that the car was originally $3k more, but they had an Internet Special that brought the price down. When I started negotiating calmly, I started with $10k. Rolando looked at me, laughed, and walked to Justino's glass office saying something like, listen to what they are offering. Justino walked towards my cousin and I with an angry expression and yelled at us, saying something like, "You are a joke, you don't have the money! Who do you think you are?!" Rolando seemed to be trying to alleviate the situation by saying, "What if we do 14--" and the manager immediately interrupted him, snatched the paperwork out of my hands, and pointed to the price--almost punching a hole through it and yelled, "No! We are sticking to our number! You are wasting our time, we are closing." I stayed calm but was shocked at their responses. I felt discriminated against and was talked down to. I hope that this manager does not treat all customers like this because it is really bad for the business and Honda. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he had a rough day, but that doesn't give him any right to treat us this way. When we were leaving, Rolando said he can sell it for $16k out-the-door. I said ok and had him write down the number on a piece of paper just in case. I said I would think about it but did not want to proceed because of how rude the manager was. Rolando said the car is a really great deal and it will not last. I thanked him for his time. The next day, he called right at 9am asking when do I plan to go in, I said I am not sure because I am working. He replied, "Oh, you work?" I said, yes, but if I were to make the purchase, I do not want Justino to get a penny from it because he was very rude. Rolando tried to defend his manager, saying there must have been a misunderstanding but he doesn't want to lose this sale, and the manager is off today. He pleaded. I said would try to make it. An older Hispanic male friend accompanied me to the dealership, to witness what could happen if the staff were to be rude again. Rolando greeted me and told me that another salesperson had just sold that car, so I was too late. He reminded me that he tried to tell me not to leave the deal yesterday. I said Justino was very rude. I also met Enrique, another manager who was nicer, who I thought only deals with new cars. He spoke to me about trying to find me another deal. Then I saw Javier and Rolando speaking in the distance. I did not know that the same salesperson can sell both used and new cars. That was on me. We had the most amazing experience at Braman thanks to Brian Gonzalez. Our Odyssey broke down on the way to the Port of Miami coming from Charlotte to catch a Cruise ship, due to the cyber issue on July 19th our flight was canceled. No time to prepare for the road trip our VPS system failed 100 miles before the Port . We made it just in time to park and get on the Cruise ship. We made the appointment with Braman Honda, for when we returned from our 7 day cruise. Brian made sure we were taken care of when we came in. Tired (4 adults and a 3 year old), the wait time wasn't bad (we still had to drive back to Charlotte) and the price to fix the problem wasn't horrible (since we just returned from vacation). Thank you Brian for making sure we were serviced in a timely manner and was able to drive back home safely. read more

My experience was very disappointing. I left my car to fix the backup camera on Friday 7am, on Saturday after several calls looking for an update i was told it couldn't be fix. I will need to wait to rhe following Wednesday to begin troubleshooting and since my service rep was off it would take over a week. Loaner car? Honda doesn't has this service. Rental ? Nope. I had to go retrieve my Unfixed car and plan another few days of inconvenience to find a ride to go to work. In another words the service and costumer service provided is UNACCEPTABLE. Very disappointed. I opted to go to this dealership while I was going to be out running some errands rather than the dealership closest to me. They seemed annoyed that I was there, and that I had even made an appointment for a standard service (who wants to wait for a car service longer than needed?!) I brought up how I had seen a coupon offer online, and was told I could email it over so I did. The service provider I was dealing with then upsold me to a higher priced package naming additional services that it offered. I went ahead and did it because it did seem to be of value. However the services he listed were not completed. I emailed him when I realized and no reply. I also got a text asking if I was happy with my service which I replied to and there was again no response. I don't appreciate any company not replying to communication, especially when they are the ones initiating the communication. When I leased my car I added the Road Hazard insurance that was offered to me by the staff, supposedly covers any tires and rims damage "even a scratch " per what the agent told me. Today 3 years after paying extra for this service and my first attempt to use it i was told that they couldn't fix my flat tire unless I decided to replace the 4 tires with a cost of $200 each. Yes, braman honda declined to fix one flat tire with the insurance they offered to fix flat tires. Ridiculous right? Not the first inconvenience of this kind. My previous vehicle had a huge leak jus a week after getting it, every time it rained the water will come straight to the interior of the car, they told me it was defective and needed to stay at the shop 2 weeks. He also touched my belly twice, which was extremely inappropriate, and the cameras can confirm this. Estoy embarazada y el financiero Armando Rurra, mirando mi barriga, me dijo que cuando "salgas de ese mojón" (un término bastante vulgar, y que significa una mierda muy grande) cuando salgas de ese mojón ven para hablar porque ahora no entiendes nada... Y no te alteres que vas a abortar aquí mismo. Díganme si esto es un trato decente para unos profesionales (si se les puede llamar así?) lo más denigrante del mundo fueron ellos dos atacando a una mujer embarazada a punto de dar a luz. Cuando dije que me iba que con ellos no tenía más nada que hablar, me dijeron que si quería mi coche de vuelta tenía que pagar $1,100. Llamé a los servicios financieros de la Honda y me informaron que solo debía pagar $15,600 para financiar mi coche. Y que por supuesto que me podía ir del lugar sin pagar nada que ese era mi coche. Terminé pagándole directamente a la Honda el carro en su totalidad por $15,600 amparándome de otra compañía de préstamos y Puse una queja y están investigando a estos empleados. Están aprovechándose de las personas que no conoce sus derechos. Imagínense que tipo de negocio contrataría a personas tan crueles que atacan y roban a una mujer embarazada? Esto ocurrió hace dos años, y seguiré publicando sobre el maltrato que sufrí a las 40 semanas de embarazo, a una semana de dar a luz. Para que a más nadie le suceda lo mismo. Por cierto ni una disculpa recibí ni siquiera de la Honda. If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. This place is far from welcoming and I wouldn't recommend this dealer to my worst enemy. From the sales guy who helped me, to the manager, and especially the finance guy they were all very unpleasant. As soon as I entered the environments wasn't very welcoming and it was ALL about numbers and getting my money. After finally getting my car appraised and seeing the car I was interested in I had to wait over 2 hours to see the finance guy who would tell me my monthly payment. After quoting me something ridiculously high for what the car was actually worth (I ended up getting it $100 cheaper a month and a different dealer) he spoke very unprofessionally. From picking up personal phone calls to telling me "if you can't afford this car get something cheaper you can actually afford", was not only unprofessional it was incredibly rude. He was belittling me by suggesting I "can't" afford the monthly payment, which I could but it was just not a good deal at the end of the day. After I discussed with my dad I didn't want to do this we went and told him unfortunately the numbers weren't going to work and we were going to leave however they had my car keys. He proceeded to tell us to sit down so we can review and after insisting we don't want to talk about it anymore we just wanted my keys the finance man told us we had and I quote "an attitude". Who even speaks like that to a client you're trying to sell to?! After talking to our sales man and explaining the dissatisfaction we had he said he would tell the manager to call me tomorrow. The manager called me to ask when I will be returning to purchase... Are you kidding me!? He even also reiterated that I should look into cheaper models. This place is horrible. If you want actual good customer service, do yourself a favor and check out South Motors Honda! They're phenomenal and so incredibly kind over there! read more

Last year my oil change cost $67. This year the same oil change was $94. They are a total rip off.

If I could give negative stars I would. I just got my car serviced for $300+ dollars when the quote online said $45. Okay understandable if there are more things that are wrong. First problem I dropped my car off at 7:15 did not get my car until 11:10. I have work at 11. 2nd when I got my car no one told me what was going on what was done or if there any problems that needed to be fixed. Just handed me the keys and paper work with the prices and a check list. Will not be going back ! This place only wants to make as much money as possible. read more

Great customer service! Easy buying process. VERY accommodating! We had just come from a sketchy dealer and just happened to stop here because they had the car we were looking for a very low mileage 2020 Audi Q5. (Not what you would expect from a Honda dealer) Our sales person Leonardo Ramos was fantastic. Ask for him! After chatting and test driving since we didn't plan on coming here we expoing we wanted to trade in our current vehicle for the Q5 but needed to get home ASAP because one of our pups is diabetic and is insulin dependent. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure our process was expedited! Not to mention we got a FANTASTIC price on our trade in and our purchase!!!!! Thank you Leonardo and the Braman team!!!! I understand that a lot of people in Miami speak Spanish, but I had a very hard time communicating with the guys outside. I can understand some basic Spanish, and I can tell that they were talking about me nearly the whole time, which is very inappropriate. Along with this, the people inside were rude, but at least I could communicate with them normally. DONT GO! Warranties won't be acknowledged till you've passed the "warranty period" so they can charge you for the service in FULL! Went 4 times with the same issue (car battery replacement never worked well) and they always said there was no problem with it. Today, when my battery finally gave out, I was told by Alex, a customer service representative in office 7, that if I had come any time within that 3 year window I would have been able to get that battery replaced. But I DID come in. Several times. In every visit I told them that I felt the battery was not the right size because my car would stall and lights would flicker and I felt like it was not supplying the right amount of power to the vehicle. They said the battery was perfect and supplying more than sufficient power. They never even took it in. They dismissed me EVERY time as if I were a clueless woman in a man's world. This company is a fraud. They gave me a courtesy $30 off my $140 replacement when I should have paid NOTHING or much less if they had TAKEN IT IN during my "warranty period." Here comes the best part; there's no record of the times I came before to complain as they never even did paperwork for me because my concern was always dismissed. So now, it looks like I wasn't being PROACTIVE about it. Now, they claim something else is wrong with my car so that's why the battery wasn't working. Oddly enough, my car wasn't making any of these strange sounds it's making since It was serviced today. Forget the coupons in the mail, the "Honda Care" and the staff. Any other company can perform better and cheaper service while maintaining a high level of professionalism and actually showing their customers they CARE about them. Service manager, Charity Fernandez is rude, abrasive, and condescending. She was the same woman I saw about a month ago when I went in to complain about the battery. She doesn't recall me mentioning the battery not working well but when I told her it's not easy for me to be revisiting this same issue while bringing along my 2 kids she quickly commented how I only brought 1 child with me the month before like if that issue trumped the BIGGER PICTURE! If you have a warranty OR concerns DO NOT LEAVE without a paper from them stating you came in regarding that issue. This could mean all the difference. Do NOT BUDGE. DO NOT LEAVE until a paper is given to you stating what you went in for. This is how they try to f%#€ you over once your warranty is done! Unless you're waiting to ride out your warranty.... The service department are liars and cheats!! They lied to us about the problem with our vehicle. Then they wanted to charges us $700 for a part that wasn't broken. Go elsewhere. This place will only try to rip you off!! Once again, you guys are lying. I was never told that anything was reset. Jeff only mentioned it came back on. My husband was told it would cost $700 to replace a sensor, in order to fix the problem. Yes, i was upset but I wasn't cursing at ANYONE at the dealership, maybe on the phone BECAUSE I was upset. Also, I NEVER said anything about the hospital. I only said that he had an emergency and I needed to get to him. Perhaps some of the attendants at the drop off should learn English because clearly they had no idea what was said!! Most of them I spoke with claimed they didn't know English. I finally found one gentleman who was VERY nice and I told him that he should work somewhere else because he seemed to nice to work there. It really is starting to seem like some of you guys are running a side business there, in order to extort money out of customers and then lying about it when you're called out. Buyer Beware!!!! If I could give this dealership zero stars I would. I recently bought out my lease and when it came time to secure a car loan I was presented with a total amount which I confirmed included all taxes and dealership fees and was told yes. The Finance Manager Luis Luces asked if I wanted to put down an initial payment and I said yes. I then repeated how much would be left on the loan after the down payment and he confirmed. To my surprise when I logged on to the bank to make my first payment, the full amount of the loan was remaining and not the amount minus the down payment. When I went to review my contract, they tacked on an additional $3k in fees (the exact amount of my down payment) which was never explained to me. The trick that they use is that they have you sign the documents on a tablet without showing you the actual contract that you are signing. When I called Luis to discuss, it took him days to call me back. When he finally did he was a bit rude and told me that he doesn't remember our discussion and that I signed the contract so I owe it. Of course I wasn't able to see the contract I was signing on the tablet!!! This dealership is dishonest and I would never purchase a car from here again. I will be reporting them to Honda Corporate as well as the Better Business Bureau for their dishonest selling practices. Save yourself the headache and purchase elsewhere. read more

They made me very angry but because it wasn't my car but my sister's I had to remain apart. She took her car to maintenance before the hurricane and two days after the hurricane the car stopped in the Publix parking lot. The people of Honda came with over three hours of delay which we understood because of the fact that we were all going through. Then they took the car and two days after I had to take her to this dealer to pick it up. It wasn't ready but the Person in charge of that department said it will be soon. So after waiting an hour and ten minutes she finally got her car and as they said it will be fine. I hope so! This place is big inside and outside. It has a kids station to play, a café with tables and chairs, the repair center and a vast amount of staff working in here. The floor is slippery so be careful. Me enojé mucho pero no pude decir nada porque no era mi carro sino el de mi hermana yo tenía que permanecer callada. Llevó su carro al mantenimiento antes del huracán y dos días después del huracán el carro se detuvo en el estacionamiento de Publix. La gente de Honda vino con más de tres horas de retraso que entendimos por el hecho de que todos estábamos pasando después de un huracán. Luego se llevaron el carro y dos días después tuve que llevarla a este distribuidor para recogerlo. No estaba listo, pero la persona a cargo de ese departamento dijo que lo estaría pronto. Así que después de esperar una hora y diez minutos finalmente obtuvimos el carro y dijeron que estará bien. Eso espero! Este lugar es grande por dentro y por fuera. Tiene una estación de niños para jugar, un café con mesas y sillas, el centro de reparación y una gran cantidad de personal trabajando aquí. El suelo es resbaladizo así que ten cuidado. read more

My husband had been looking at different dealerships for his first new car. He first tried Ocean Mazda which treated him like he didn't belong and then went to planet dodge who rushed us because we weren't "buying". We then came to Braman Honda and worked with Luis who treated us with respect and curtesy, he worked with us to get the deal we wanted on the vehicle my husband fell in love with. They were not pushy at all and took the time to find us what we wanted: looks like Braman Honda got our business! With all this said and done the point of the story is I would go to this dealership in a heartbeat again. I would ask for Luis Leon to help with anything we need.
