Run, DON'T Walk... I Can Not recommend for you to stay away from this dishonest dealership enough! I have purchased 9 vehicles between the prices of $30,000-$75,000 in my lifetime. I only deal with big car dealers because they will tell you the truth 99% of the time about their cars. They don't want negative feedback that will hurt their Internet Sales and they are generally honest about the vehicles condition. LORENZO BOMNIN Chevrolet is the exception to this rule. I dealt with 3 different people including the Internet Manager at this dealership. I was told on the phone as well as in email that the vehicle I was inquiring about was, and I quote word for word from email of the Internet Manager Willy Gabbart : "The Lincoln Navigator is super clean and there's nothing wrong with it." This was in response to my email to him and I quote: "I am in Austin Texas so a test ride is out of the question. My question is what is your best price on the truck? I am looking for one of these for my transportation company. Please let me know of any cosmetic problems or any other issues the truck has also." I explained on the phone to him and to the salesman Pedro, that the vehicle has to be excellent shape because we use it to pick high profile clients, entertainers, and VIP's and transport them to their venues. They both assured me that the truck was in excellent shape and that I would be very happy with it. Since I have done this many times before with no issues, I bought the truck. That was over 2 weeks ago. I had a car transporter pick up the truck and bring it here to me. When the truck arrived it was very clear that it had been in at least once rear end accident. The rear bumper was scraped up and had white paint scratches on it where the collision took place. The front bumper has 6 inch swirl paint cracks due to a collision of some sort. There was a 3-4 inch dent in the rear lift gate door. There are MANY scrapes, scratches and dings in the paint on all 4 sides of the truck. The passenger side mirror was actually barely holding on to the truck with two rusty DRYWALL screws. The mirror was only halfway on the truck. The passenger side rear pillar (top back corner of truck) has a 2-3 inch square of paint chipped off. The font grill of the truck is cracked in multiple places and just sits in the front of the grill not actually snapped in. The front passenger side headlight is not attached to the vehicle. It acrually was just set in the opening and you can pull the headlight all the way out of the truck with your hand. The connection to the frame is actually snapped in half ,which means the truck was obviously in a hard collision in the front as well as rear. The auto floor boards on the side of the vehicle do not work, one side was actually unplugged from it's motor. One of the fog lights is MISSING and has no mounting bracket for it to be replaced. The paper work (car hauler vehicle inspection) that the car hauler filled out and that the dealership rep signed shows all of theses issues were there when the truck was picked up from the dealer. Once I received the truck, I was dumbfounded! We took pictures of all of the damage and emailed them to Willy Gabbart, the Internet Sales Manager. That was AFTER calling him to complain and it took me 3 days for them to acknowledge receiving the pictures. Then I got the run around and no call backs for several days. I called and left messages and actually spent 30 mins on hold and being transferred to Willy and then the GM of the dealership. I got no callbacks until I let them know I own a highly successful Internet Marketing company who knows how to generate a massive amount of negative publicity. So at least then I got a call from the GM, Miguel Ranillo who proceeded to try to explain to me that it was my own fault and that his Internet Sales Manager meant by "The Lincoln Navigator is super clean and there's nothing wrong with it", was that the interior and engine were in perfect shape, not the exterior. After a short conversation about that he then asked me what I wanted to do. I told him I had already gotten a bod to fix all of the issues that would be fairly cheap to do and that it was going to cost $1200 which is much cheaper than taking it to the dealer to fix all of these issues. I told him I could send him the estimate if he wanted and he could pay them directly. He said he would call me back that Friday afternoon. He never called. I called him and got no call back on the following Monday and got no call. When I emailed him explaining what my options were for getting my negative experience out in masse on the Internet I got a quick call saying he had to talk with the owner of the dealership and that he would call me back that day for sure. Needless to say, I got no phone call. So here I am, beginning day 1 on the mission to make sure as many people hear about the way these people do business. read more

I've been taking my current car (2007 Corvette) and previous Chevy (2001 Monte Carlo SS) for service to this dealer since October 2000. In all this time I have known their service advisor Rene who has always been very polite and attentive to my car's needs. I'm the type of person that is very picky with their cars, I like for everything to be 100% perfect. Rene, or the Technicians at this dealer have never disappointed me. Mainly the same Technician has helped me all these years at this dealer, but on occasion others have helped me as well. I'm so picky with my car that sometimes I go a bit overboard. For instance once I wanted to rotate the front tires on my Corvette (they can't be moved to the back since they are a different size than the rear tires) from side to side. Since they are directional tires they would have to be dismounted from the rims and switched around and mounted on the other rim. So the left front tire would need to be changed to the front right rim. I was advised by one of their Technicians that they would gladly do it but that doing this would not provide any benefit as far as exceeding the life of the tire. They could have told me to rotate the tires and made more money by encouraging me to perform unnecessary work. One time my Monte Carlo SS got this awful rotten smell coming from the engine. I couldn't find any dead animal in wheel wells or in or around the engine. I managed to convince myself (and found supporting pages on the internet) that the smell was coming from one of the main radiator hoses that got old. I told them I thought this was the cause and that I wanted to change the top and bottom hoses but they advised me this was unlikely to be the cause. Of course they would have changed the hoses if I insisted but I'm glad they discouraged me from doing so since after a long period of time the smell went away. I suppose something died in a hidden crevice somewhere. I think that after you spend good money on a car, it should be in perfect condition and the staff at this dealer has allowed me to maintain this standard no matter how trivial my concern may seem. The service at this dealer is so good I now replace my tires there instead of going to a place like Goodyear or Tire Kingdom. They actually matched (as promised) the lowest price in town and I still get expert service on my Chevy. My first car that I took to this dealer was a 2001 Model Year Monte Carlo SS. I bought some tires at Sears, but then their technician didn't know how to align the front end and wanted to break off some piece or something. I told them to just not align it and I took it to this Chevy dealer where they aligned the front end without having to break off any part and no complication. I could understand Sears not being able to work on a car like a Corvette but I was surprised to learn they couldn't align the wheels on a Monte Carlo. I've been to another dealer for high-end cars here in Miami for a relative's car. When I go to Lorenzo Bomnin Chevrolet I get better treatment and service than at the fancy foreign car dealer. At the fancy dealer I don't feel like they have a vested personal interest regarding my concerns, while at Lorenzo Bomnin they definitely do. The bad thing about this dealer is that they only sell Chevy cars, I wish they sold cars from all of GM's divisions; Cadillac, Buick, GMC. The service is so good I feel like my next car should be a Chevy, then again if I bought another GM product I could take it for non-factory warranty service to Lorenzo Bomnin Chevrolet. Unfortunately if I bought a Buick due to the way things are set up I would have to take it to a Buick dealer for warranty service. I'm quite positive that if you take your car for service at Lorenzo-Bomnin you'll be very satisfied as well. read more

After searching through CarGurus and going to several dealers over the course of several days, we found a vehicle at Bomnin that seemed to meet our needs. A salesman took us to a room, spoke with us a few minutes, and asked us to wait a few minutes because he was finishing with another customer and then he would bring us the car to test drive. We waited for over an hour for the salesman to return. He very apologetic and seemed sincere when he said he had gotten distracted and forgot about us. When they brought the car around, it had a terrible screeching sound. On the windshield was written that the AC belt needed to be replaced. The salesman asked to excuse the noise because the car had just come in and they hadn't had a chance to do the work. My father let him know that we had seen on CarGurus that the car had been there for 93 days. He said that if we wanted the car, they would fix the problem before we left. We went through the whole financing process with all of the fees like everyone has mentioned, then we waited even longer than the first time for the car to be fixed. They claimed that in addition to changing he belt, they had installed a new battery, and they had inspected the car. On the way home, it started making couple other noises. The following day they went to have another key made because they had only given us one. That same day my father got cut off in traffic, which almost caused an accident, and went to blow the horn only to discover that it didn't work. We took the car back to the dealer to ask them to fix the horn issue and the new noises. We were informed that we would have to leave the car overnight to have the horn fixed but would have to wait 30 days until the extra warranty they purchased kicked in in order to fix the other problems. Let's see if are really covered by the policy. Two days ago my mother was driving the car, and the key part separated from the fob because the fob they gave us was missing the small screw that keeps it together. We had to order the screw from another Nissan dealer (we weren't about to return to Bomin) which we picked up yesterday. I feel like I'm forgetting something, but the thing is that we will never go back there again nor will we recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

I was in the market for a new Chevy Silverado. Looking for the new body style, 2019 or 2020. After much research on my own on line and visiting a dealer in my Pennsylvania home market and talking to other dealers, I chose a Bomnin Silverado LT. This particular truck had all the right equipment for my towing and driving needs. The dealer network back home couldn't come close on price but also couldn't locate a truck with the features I wanted! Even a large dealer in NC would not give me the bottom line price for a specific truck when requested! A major Ohio GM truck dealer was the same way, false pricing on line, a promise to call back and then...crickets. Everyone I contacted was told that I was a ready buyer and needed a truck ASAP. I flew into Miami, and the truck was ready except for one glitch. It had the wrong wheel and tire set up. When I pointed it out, Jose' promptly checked the MSRP window sticker and confirmed it had the wrong kicks on. We completed the "paper" work and I returned the next morning when the service department was open. They rather quickly replaced the incorrect wheel / tire set up for the correct 20's that came from factory. I've read a lot of the reviews on here so I came prepared, but I found the staff to be overly courteous and eager to please. From Javier to Jose', Chris a manager and Michael the service manager I can't say enough. And the fellow that does all the electronic signing of the deal, sorry can't remember your first name! I would not have flown one way from PA to buy a truck if I wasn't treated over the phone and messaged with all the information and bottom line quote with respect the way Jose' treated me. He was completely open about some dealer added extras and minor issues because the truck was a 3000 mi demonstrator. It was STILL the best buy and experience from my dealings on the East Coast. Just realize you are purchasing from a super high volume dealer, they are extremely courteous but they have hundreds of customers a month and service probably 100 cars a day. Lots going on all the time, but it was quite something to witness and I will buy here again, no question. Again a special thanks to Jose' Martinez and Chris. Based on my current experience, this dealership is not a good place to purchase a used car. They did not place an importance on customers purchasing a used car as you would expect. Whether buying used or new, customers should feel listened to, respected, and helped with such a big purchase. I visited the dealership accompanying a friend who wanted to purchase a used car. We saw a great price online and called the dealer beforehand. It took the dealership a bit to attend to us, so while we waited we noticed that a lot of employees were wearing masks incorrectly (not covering their noses) and there were no sanitizing stations in sight. This made us uncomfortable, but we still waited for an attendant. The representative assisting us, Javier, did not seem very interested in his job or in helping us in the purchase; Javier only seemed interested in making the sale. We were able to see the used car, test drive it, and then we sat and talked about pricing. The prices Javier and his manager gave us was approximately double than what is advertised online. When I proceeded to ask about the certain fees that caused the price to skyrocket, he could not give me a straight answer. We honestly told him that we needed the price to go down and he told us he would see what he can do. By this time, we were not feeling very confident in the purchase, so I asked Javier to talk us through a little more things to give us more confidence. His responses fell flat for us, so we decided to walk away and thanked him for his time. He then approached us about giving us a better price, which made us more uncomfortable because we thought he couldn't go any lower. Ultimately, he was making accusatory comments about how we made a commitment to purchase the car and we were leaving in bad faith, when in reality, the price was wrong for us and he could not assist us by providing the information and confidence we needed to complete the sale. If the dealership by chance sees this review, I would like to let them know the following: making a customer feel comfortable and confident in the car purchasing experience guarantees a repeat customer when they need a new car; when only focusing on the sale, dealerships would never be able to hope for repeat customers. read more

Dear Mr. Bomnin: First and foremost I want to thank you not only for your kind words concerning my review as well as for taking the time out of your busy schedule for such an extended message. I have to admit that going to Lorenzo Bomnin Chevrolet is like visiting "family". Perhaps because throughout the five (5) years or so that I had been the proud owner of my "Colita" (or little tail as I call it) fire red Cobalt...that is how I had been treated by everyone in your service department from management to service associates and mechanics as well. To be quite honest to you, in all these years, only once, that can remember, the visit did not quite measure to its expectations but at the same time at the end it turned out just as good. As I mentioned in our recent brief conversation there is one aspect that, in my own personal opinion I am not quite "happy" (to say the least) about it and it concerns the fact of not having financing available for large repairs. Case in point is my recent need of a COMPLETE set of tires and much to my regret I had to go OUTSIDE your dealership in order to find proper finance (usually a six month period with no interest is very prominent among many of your competitors) and I firmly believe that Chevrolet should offer it . In closing allow me to add that I am thankful to have been "allowed" sort of a "permanent" set of mechanics (I apologize for not having their complete names) in Dennis and Rafael which I consider this very important as they get to know my car =but most important its history= in a very personal way (correct me if I am wrong but the current practice is simply assigning the work to the 'next in line' service mechanic). If I may say so, I do believe that having sort of an 'assigned' service mechanic, creates an added sense of security to the customer knowing that they know the car, as the saying goes, like the palm of their hands. Perhaps, if you allow me to say it, going back to the 'old" days' system... may just be a good idea? This was without question the worst experience I have ever had at any car dealership. My fiancé and I came with a friend who is a first time car buyer looking to buy a used car that was advertised online. Everything seemed fine and professional at first, but then we began having issues with the staff and us being thrown around to different sales representatives despite having called in to speak to and deal directly with a representative by the name of Ashley. We eventually had someone by the name of Javier take care of us, and things could not have been worse from there. This sales representative was clueless in terms of explaining what the additional costs were in regards to the purchase, and he was also extremely predatory and rude when it came to persuade us into buying the car. The car's price for some odd reason or another fluctuated wildly between $2,000-$3,000 more than what was advertised and told to us, and the sales representative kept trying to weasel an explanation or two about the pricing while making no sense. While the associate was willing to try and negotiate the price of the car down for us, we eventually decided not to continue as we figured we would find a better car for a better deal elsewhere. The sales representative, Javier, eventually tried to guilt trip us into making a purchase and laughed at us when we finally decided to make our way out. If these are the types of people that Bomnin Chevrolet Dadeland hire to be the face of their salesforce, they have an extremely long way to go before they compare to their Kendall and Homestead locations. I will never for as long as I live come to this dealership for any reason. Whether that be for service, sales, parts, or anything of the sort. I have never in my life had a service so bad that it made scream in the middle of the service area! This dealership is more worried about volume than customer service. I own a 2015 Tahoe brought it in to get several problems fixed that apparently are problems most 2015 Tahoe's have. Shaking/vibrating engine while at a stop, interior lights going on inside the car at random times when car is in motion and the Tahoe Emblem feel off the trunk door. So I brought my car in last Thursday a week ago. Yes they gave me a loaner a much smaller crossover not comparable to my truck and I have 4 kids including an infant so this was difficult. Nothing on the loaner was automatic except the engine! No joke. When we called Friday of last week we were put on hold for 35 minutes and then we were passed around from service advisor to the secretary back to a different advisor, needless to say no one wanted to give us information on our vehicle or status as to when it would be ready. Then we tried again on Tuesday only to be shuffled around again! By this time my husband stepped in and spoke to the actual advisor who took the truck in, we were told the parts Were on their way and that the truck would be ready Thursday and someone would call us back. That never happened. Then we called again Wednesday and he promised the truck for Thursday at noon! Well when I went to pick up my truck that sat for an entire week for no reason and I could've been using it the truck had NOTHING DONE! Nothing not even the emblem glued back on. This place is a disgrace no one would own up to their faults nor apologize for their pathetic behavior. I asked for the owners information and also reached out to him with no response. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this disgusting place of a what they try to call a service dealership. They are all a bunch of liars and lazy Personel. Shame on them. read more

I had been looking at the 2016 corvette for some time when I stumbled upon the Bomnin web site. Their prices were significantly lower than the prices I was seeing locally in the Tampa area. I was a bit skeptical in particular after seeing some of the Yelp reviews. Given the price difference I decided to make the drive as they have a very large selection of vehicles and in fact had the exact car I wanted. I must say I was pleasantly surprised as this was a great experience and I had no issues whatsoever. Jairo was my salesman and did a great job with his excellent customer service. The owners came out and said hi and they seem to be really focusing on customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend looking into this dealer if you are interested in a new corvette and it was certainly worth the drive. As a bonus it is only about an hour from Key Largo and we turned this into a road trip / mini vacation in the keys. As a "disclaimer": I am not an employee or salesman making a good rating for them as some of the other posts may suggest. I am a physician who works in Pinellas County, Florida. I am not one to post a lot of reviews but felt compelled to do so seeing some of the negative comments. As a side note some of the tampa dealers had a lot of bad reviews on Yelp as well. I had a terrible experience at Bomnin Chevrolet in DADELAND. I purchased a new 2023 Tahoe on 9/30/23 and traded in my leased Lexus, which was up on 12/1/23. Although the sales representative, Jorge Fong, was a pleasure and very helpful, the finance department on the other hand was a complete disaster, specifically Humberto. They failed to move documents in a timely fashion and did not submit the paperwork to USAA for the loan to be dispersed until three months later. To make matters worse, January 2024, I found out that I was in collections because Chevrolet did not submit the right documents with the correct payoff amount and required documents to Lexus. Communication between Lexus and Chevrolet was terrible, and I had to involve the sales manager to have accounting reach out to Lexus accounting department. The end result was that I lost 100 points off my perfect credit score, and now I'm in collections from Lexus for never closing the account, keeping the car past maturity dates, and failure to pay off residual, all because the finance manager who helped with the sale slacked and was negligent and unprofessional. I would not recommend Bomnin Chevrolet Dadeland to anyone. My experience was a complete nightmare, and I am still dealing with the consequences of their incompetence. Overall, my experience with Bomnin Chevrolet Dadeland was nothing short of a nightmare, and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this dealership at all costs. read more

The worse Service horrible, bad attitude,i had ordered New Chevrolet Corvet 2014 in may 2013 and i was told by sales man it will take 4 to 5 month to get it and i give them deposit of $1000 and they call me up in July to come and pay $2000 more now we were in contract and they told me i could not cancel it and car will arrive no later then by end of October so come October 25th. i called them up to see if the car is coming soon,the sales man said it will be few more weeks ,so i waited and call them back in November 10th ,he said where have you been i said what you mean i been calling you all this time ,he said we have sold your car we could not reach you what a lie and a low class business people,i have never in my life done business with this kind of people so he said we can re order it for you ,i was so mad at this time and i never wanted to do business with Lorenzo Bomin and i called to talk to manger he never called me back since today none called back what a low class ,if you considering buying from this dealer please be careful ,anyway i went and bought Jaguar s Type from Alpine Jaguar The best car and best service ever love it.and GMC lost my busines by the way i even called GMC they did not even care . As for myself a car aficionado with a huge track record on car buying experiences, from used to new, from leasing to financing and from Land Rovers, BMW and Mercedes Benz. After being in the market for over a month and dealing with all kinds of crooks at multiple auto dealers from Margate down to Homestead, we decided to stop in at Kendall Chevrolet, also known as Lorenzo Bomnin Chevrolet. My husband had seen a 2001 BMW at a great price on AutoTrader and we decided to give it a shot. We arrived at the dealer and walked around looking at cars and no one approached us, which we actually appreciated. My husband then went inside and asked for a salesman so that we could take the car for a test drive. Our salesman was amazing! He was honest and straight forward. We didnt want to waste anyones time and were upfront with him about how much we were willing to pay. He went back and forth with the finance department a few times and ended up getting us a better deal that what we offered. The salesman saved us $300!! We were so happy with their service and their selection that we decided to take home another BMW home that same day. Not many people can say that they go in to buy one car, and leave with two. I definitely reccommend this dealer to anyone. Their building is old, and the lot is huge but their service is incredible. read more
